  • What are the basic .jar files to be set in web dynpro project classpath

    Hi,
I am having a problem while customizing the ESS. I used DTR, DC and imported configuration. After that, I created project from one of the DC(say ess/jp/addr). Later when I open an iView from any Web Dynpro component, I am getting lot of errors without even making any modifications.
I closed the project and reopened it and reload & rebuilt, but it doesn't solved my problem. In my classpath settings I couldn't find any jar files except the jre_lib. Could you please let me know what are the basic jar files we have to set in classpath and where to get them from. We are using NWDS 7.0.06 version.
Can you please let me know how to solve this or any other way to work around this.
It's an urgent to be fixed as early as possible, plz help me out.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • What are the differences in file types?

what are the differences in file types?    HOW DO i CONVERT TXT TO A FILE TYPE THAT PLAYS MUSIC/VIDEO?

Every file on a computer is ultimately just a big collection of zeros and ones. Files with the .txt extension typically contain just text. If opened with a suitable program such as Notepad the text will be readable. Try to push the same file into a different application and you may get nonsense or crash the software. Well written software will attempt to validate the internal structure of the file it is given and reject anything it doesn't know how to handle. There are multiple audio file formats. Transcoding an audio file from one audio format to another is possible. Changing a text file into audio isn't possible unless it wasn't really a text file in the first place.

  • What are the .fm.sp files that are created when using SharePoint?

What are the .fm.sp files that are created when using SharePoint? When I'm working with SharePoint, I've noticed that duplicate files ending in .fm.sp are created. I've been unable to find any reference or documentation about them so far.

Whe you use sharepoint as a CMS connections in Framemaker it creates the folder where Sp is installed and also a file ending .sp is created that let SP know that its the file associated with it.
.fm.sp indicates that its the framemaker type SP file.
Dont worry about it as its not creating any mess in the system.

  • What are the real data files of an Oracle installation?

When I install an Oracle (XE) database then a lot of stuff is copied/setup:
*.exe, jdbc driver, service tools, scripts, config files,....
But which are the real data files (under WinXP)?
I mean the files where all the individual, personal table defintions, trigger code, inserted data records are stored?
As far as I heard these are only 9 files.
    Is this true?
What, if I copy just these 9 files to another Oracle XE installation on another computer and replace the 9 files over there?
Is all the content available at the remote computer after restart?

What, if I copy just these 9 files to another Oracle XE installation on another computer and replace the 9 files over there? No. Oracle is far more complex than that. The control file keeps info about the data files, including stuff like the last checkpoint scn, etc. If you just drop a new file on a different installation, even if the file has the same name and is in the same path, it won't match the info in the control file.
That's not to say there aren't ways to move a data file from one installation to another. But it is a lot more complex than simply dragging a file from one folder to another.

  • What are the jpg.tmp files in iPhoto?

    Hi,
I've just added some folders that contain .jpg files to iPhoto.  The folders all reside under my Documents folder, let's call it Documents/Photos/Folder1, .../Folder2, etc.
Within iPhoto, I've adjusted the time of the files (Modify original files checkbox was ticked), added keywords, location and faces to the images.  Now I've got one, or in some cases up to three, .tmp files for each of the original .jpg files.  For example, Folder1 has the original img_001.jpg and also newly-created img_001.jpg.tmp, img_001.jpg_2.tmp, etc.
Can anyone explain what these files are and what created them, and if it's safe to delete them?  Would be grateful for your help.
    Regards,
    Ken.

    LarryHN wrote:
are you using a referenced library - (The iPhoto advanced preference to "copy imported items to the iPhoto library" has been unchecked) which is strongly NOT recommended. - or a managed library - that preference is in its strongly recommended and default checked state?
I'm using a referenced library, not a managed one.  I have my images sitting in a folder outside of iPhoto.  iPhoto contains links to those images.  Hadn't realised that this approach was strongly not recommended.
    LarryHN wrote:
as to the .tmp files - are they inside of the iPhoto library (you should not be in there - there are no user serviceable parts in the iPhoto library) or outside of it in which case they were not created by iPhoto and have nothing to do with iPhoto
The .tmp files are not inside the iPhoto library (I'm not messing about with anything in there).
They are located outside of iPhoto at Documents/Photos/Folder1—the same folder where I have my original images.  So now this folder has img_001.jpg and img_001.jpg.tmp and img_001.jpg_2.tmp.
    LarryHN wrote:
iPhoto never does anything with any photo outside of its library.
Hmmm...this doesn't tally with what I observed last night:
I checked the contents of Folder1: it only contained .jpg files; no .tmp files were present.
I dragged, say, Folder1 onto (an open, running) iPhoto, thereby importing them.
Within iPhoto I adjusted the time of the files (Modify original files checkbox was ticked), added keywords, location and faces to the images.
When I checked the contents of Folder1 again, the .tmp files were present.
The only application that I was using was iPhoto; the only actions that I took were those described; I don't believe there was any other process running on the computer that could have manipulated the images or created the .tmp files.
Anyone got any ideas about these .tmp files?  What are they?  Can they be deleted?
    Many thanks,
    Ken.

  • What are the .plist.lockfile files in the preference folders?

I've just recently noticed in the Library/Preferences folder, and the Users/Library/Preferences folder, files appearing with ".plist.lockfile" at the end of the file names, and they are zero bytes. • What are the Best Web File Export settings?

I am running Premiere Pro CS3 on Win XP SP3, 4 GB RAM. I have tried several settings exporting a 2 1/2 minutes movie trailer to Windows Media Player, .flv, Quicktime, and Real Video files, so that I can add it to a web site for downloading. Of course, all of these are compressed files. I've tried very many settings but am having trouble getting a relatively good quality resolution file that is small enough to load fairly quickly. The best file is a Quicktime file. However, even though the movie plays in a small window, it is 41 MB (a big file).
Please share any settings that have produced a good quality file under 10 MB.
    Thanks,
    Linda

    > You just need to use a larger file or settle for less quality
This is not always exactly true. There are many things that can affect the perceived quality. In Premiere's case:
1.) Deinterlacing: If your sources are interlaced, Premiere (by default) will deinterlace them before scaling down for web export. Premiere's deinterlacer is as bad as it gets. If you are doing a ratio >= 2:1 (such as 480i -> 240p) it is probably better to untick the "deinterlace" checkbox, as the line-pairs will be blended on output anyway because of the large scaling ratio.
2.) Soft scaling: Premiere's Bicubic resampling is not really ideal for large ratio reductions. Unfortunately, there is not much way around this without using other tools.
3.) Noise: Video noise can greatly reduce the efficiency of encoding -- and therefore, when using a set data rate, it makes lowers quality output. Premiere does have a noise reduction filter option in AME, but it is quite slow and not the most sophisticated solution. You may want to experiment with it anyway: It can potentially make low bandwidth encodes look much better.
4.) Frame rate: It seems like a basic concept, but many people forget that you can greatly increase your spatial quality by reducing the frame rate. If you can live without the motion smoothness of 30 fps, you can get much higher quality with 15 fps at the same data rate.
5.) Two-pass Encoding: Unfortunately, Premiere does not have 2-pass for FLV VP6 which, IMO, is probably the "best looking" web output. You should look at other tools like Sorenson Squeeze or On2 Flix. In these cases you'll need to export a lossless intermediary AVI file to maximize quality.

  • What are the right steps to move iTunes 11 library from external HD to internal HD?

I have poked around the support communities and tried several times to move the iTunes library (currently on an external HD) to my internal HD.
    I've tried
    - pointing my library to my new internal HD location
    - checking "keep iTunes library organized"
    - checking "copy files to iTunes media folder while adding"
    - consolidating all files
    - exporting library
    No dice.
    I also tried
    - clicking create "new library"
    - physically copying (drag and drop) my iTunes subfolders to the new iTunes folder...
    - now I've got several duplicates
Clearly I should not become a Genius at the Genius Bar. Please suggest the best process/steps to get er done! I've kept my original iTunes folder nice and safe. So I can go back to ground zero and do it right.
    Thanks

What exactly do you have on the external drive?  A library is more than just media files.
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Open iTunes and immediately hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) so you get a prompt to choose a library, then select the copied iTunes folder.
If this is to a new computer and you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music  then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there.  (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)
