What are the options in the application builder application.ini file
What are the options that I can add in the application.ini file that is created by the application builder.
They are about the same as LabVIEW.ini. Scott Hannahs has a list of ini settings for several versions of LabVIEW that can be found here.

I software is free to iPhone users NOT because of the contracts that people have with AT&T.
It is free because Apple decided to account for the iPhone (and Apple TV) differently.
When you pay your $400 for the iPhone they do not recognise the full $400 as a sale.
What they do (and this has been very clearly stated by Apple), is take 1/24 of the $400 each month.
This is not money from AT&T is is the money that was paid for the phone.
Now because in effect Apple are not taking the revenue and profit for the full phone at point of sale and instead only take a % every month the buyer is paying for the phone over the 24 month period.
Therefore Apple can and will give free software updates because in effect the product sold is not complete and can take money as they add features.

The iPod touch on the other hand is accounted for like all other products, all revenue / profit taken at time of sale. If Apple gave the software Upgrades (not bug fixes as they are free) away for free they would be breaking the law as it would deprive shareholders of potential revenue that should have been charged for adding features to a product that has been already sold. That is why we ahd to pay for the iMac Airport 'N' drivers as well. -

After replacing a failed hard drive with new one I inadvertently created a different account name(home/user) than the one in the Time Machine backup. Now I cannot restore the photos in iPhoto. What are my options?
The best thing to do would be to start over. Use Setup Assistant this time.
Boot into Recovery, launch Disk Utility, and erase the startup volume. This operation will destroy all data on the volume. Quit Disk Utility and install OS X. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade, so make a note of those before you begin.
When you reboot, you'll be prompted to go through the initial setup process. That’s when you transfer the data from one of your backups. For a walkthrough, see here:

Don't transfer the Guest account, if it was enabled on the old system.

RAID almost full, what are my options
Hi we have a xserve RAID 5.6TB with 14 x 400Gb drives, set up as RAID 50.
We are now getting to the stage where the RAID is getting quite full and need to start planning how we deal with this with the minimum disruption and cost, what are our options?The short answer is "you can't" and the longer answer is "maybe you can but you shouldn't".
If you did find another Xserve RAID with 400GB drives in it you maybe could create a giant RAID 0 from the underlying RAIDs but the potential for data loss with some many moving parts underneath would make it IMHO unacceptable. And even if you did get that to work you would need to restripe the new RAID and wouldn't be able to just "expand" the current one.
As usual William is right. Your best option is to buy a larger capacity box like a Promise RAID and migrate your current data to it. The next best option would be to see if you can find 16 Xserve RAID compatible 750GB PATA drives and replace your 400s. But this would require backing everything off and then restoring the data AND those drives are getting very hard to find.
Sorry the news isn't better but mixing too many or mismatched (in terms of speed and/or size) parts into a single volume is bad idea AND without a fancy filesystem designed to expand endlessly it's hard to keep the same volume going perpetually. As a performance issue you really do want to limit how many simultaneous writes you're doing on a single journaled HFS volume. Since every change needs to get written to the journal if there are too many changes the journal can become a performance choke point. While this is more a function of use and number of users a single 9TB+ volume would hold the potential for this kind of conflict.

I have an old Imac G4 from 2003. I would like to start using it again, however it is so out of date and runs too slowly. What are my options to update it? I really don't want to invest a ton of money - I might as well get a new one, so if there are any reasonable ways to get it to run Snow Leopard or even Lion, please help. I've also considered using a mac mini? Is that worth it either? I'm not sure which way to go here. I don't want to trash it, I feel like it can be a great computer if updated.

I have set up iPhoto 11 so that pictures will be edited in Photoshop elements 11. I selected the option to edit in another application. Check that the serial you are using is the correct one..
Typically the problem is either you are misreading the serial and therefore typing it in wrong. Check you are correctly entering zeros or O.. and so on....
or...
You bought the LP9 upgrade version.... which requires the LP8 full serial as well.
If it is the LP9 upgrade serial.. (and not the LP9 full serial) you must enter your original LP8 full serial first and then the upgrade serial for LP9.. when it asks for it.
Failing that.. you can obtain a replacement serial from Apple.. using this form.....

If you mean that WiFi performance is poor when you connect to other WiFi access points, post details and someone may be able to offer suggestions to improve performance. If you mean that you wish to have connectivity when a WiFi access point is not available, then your options are:
- Tether the iPad through a cellphone that offers Personal Hotspot capability;
- buy a MiFi device, available through many carriers, and sign up for a data plan;
- return or sell your WiFI-only iPad and buy a WiFi+Cellular model.

It could also be the power supply. Do you have a backup of the OS. If you have a near by Apple Retail Store I would bring it in and let them do a diagnostic on it to find out for sure. Once you know what it is for sure, you can decide whether to fix or replace.

Your only option is to connect your iPhone to your computer via USB (as the diagram indicates) and restore using iTunes.
