What are the possible srcTrig and destTrig values for MapTrig2Trig?

I would like a general listing of the values for reference. As an example of something I might want to do, can I put the clock (CLK10) on the front panel TRIG OUT connectoe of my pc-870 controller by issuing the MapTrig2Trig with srcTrig=70 (CLK10) and destTrig=41 (TRIG OUT)?

Hi jcrooke,
The values for this function can be found in the VXI API Reference help, which I have attached. Search for "maptrigtotrig" and the function help has a listing of the valid values. I hope this helps!

My iSight is not working on my Macbook Pro. What are the possible problems and solutions?

    Hello Douglas,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with the built-in iSight camera on your MacBook Pro.  I recommend the following steps for this issue:
Important: Follow these instructions in order. Test the camera between steps to see if the issue is resolved.
    Built-in iSight cameras
These steps are for iSight cameras that are built into a computer, such as the iMac G5 (iSight) or later, the MacBook, or MacBook Pro.
See if the issue is application-specific.
Try another application (iSight works with applications like iChat, PhotoBooth, and iMovie HD 6) to see if the iSight camera exhibits the same behavior in all applications. If it only happens in one application, try reinstalling that application.
See if the issue is user-specific.
Test your iSight camera in another user account. If the issue only occurs in one user, the issue would be isolated to user settings.
Find out if the computer recognizes the iSight
Check System Profiler (in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder). Under the USB header, check to see if the iSight camera is detected.
    Reset SMC or PMU
Reset your computer's SMC or PMU, and then check System Profiler again. (SMC reset instructions for iMac G5 (iSight), Intel-based iMacs; PMU reset instructions for MacBook and MacBook Pro.)
If your built-in iSight camera is still not behaving correctly after trying all these steps, you may need to contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service.
You can find the full article here:

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • What are the delta mechanisms and tables used for  Lo Extraction & COPA

    Hi all
what are the delta mechanisms and tables used for  Lo Extraction & COPA.
    please explain clealry.
    Thanks & Regards,
    James

    James,
Please go through Roberto's weblog :
    /people/sap.user72/blog/2005/02/14/logistic-cockpit--when-you-need-more--first-option-enhance-it
    Anyways,
As you know LO cockpit consists of different modules(MM, PP, SD, etc)
They are called appl components. Each of them have a number (eg.MM=02) and for each appl comp they might be different Data sources and for each DS they might be different tables. So, unless you be specific we cant tell a specific table for a DS.
coming to the delta mechanisms, there are " direct delta, queqed delta and serialized delta".
Copa is based on the oepration concern. it can be created on " accouting based" or "costing based".

We will customize a very detailed reply, but
    (a) What are the properties of your source media?
    (b) What did you or the program set as the project preset to match the properties of the source media?
    (c) What specific requirements do you have for this H.264.mov export file?
File size can be a compromise between bitrate, file size, and quality.
    Thanks.

  • HT5117 What are the new dpi and pixel rules for ibook cover art?

Plz tell me the new pixel and dpi requirements for ibooks. Thx

    K T wrote:
Image dpi has a direct effect on image quality.
An image has no dpi, only pixels. What has dpi is the display that shows the image.
The pixel dimensions are an attribute of the image and determine how much information is in the image. The dpi is an attribute of the display and determines how many pixels are displayed in a given area.
The two values are independent and have nothing to do with each other.
If a program such as Photoshop or InDesign allows you to specify a dpi setting, it is so it can export an image with pixel dimensions that match the dpi of the target display, so the image appears at a pre-determined physical size. The programs also use the dpi setting so, when you ask to be shown the image at original size, the software can scale the image so it appears at that size even on a display whose dpi does not match the dpi of the target display.
When you upload a cover image, there is no dpi. There is one and only one thing: the pixel dimensions of the image.

  • What are the minimum CPU and Memory requirements for R12 Vision instance?

We are in the process of trying to figure out what the minimum hardware requirements are for installing the R12 Vision instance. This Vision instance would only have 5 or less concurrent users. We may have to order a new server and we are wondering what the minimum CPU and memory would be? Oracle Support will not give us this information.
We aleady know how much disk space it will need.

  • Sy-msgno - What are the possible numbers and their meanings?

I am wondering what the possible numbers are for the field sy-msgno and their meanings.  I am trying to determine what some code is doing but there isn't any documentation.  The code is looking for, and setting, specific values in the field sy-msgno so knowing what these numbers mean will help me out.

  • What are the correct setup and system settings for importing HDV video from tape?

I keep trying different "easy setups" and system settings/preferences in order to import both the audio and video from HDV recordings on miniDV tape to no avail in either FCE4 or FCP5.  I import via firewire from the camera.  My computer "sees" the camera and controls playback (I can hear the audio) but no video displays for capture (just color bars).
My camera is a Canon Vixia HV40 and my computer is a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
I've tried the HDV easy setup...no video...
I've tried HDV 1080i/60 as I saw recommended somewhere else...no video...
Captures standard video just fine but I'd like to try editing some higher def footage.
    Any suggestions?
    Many thanks.

The combination of all these helpful ideas solved the problem.
I set AV settings to HD and Apple Intermediate Codec HDV 1080i/60 AND set the cameras output to "locked" HDV.  Funny, it had been on "A" (Auto) before and should have simply sensed the need for HD output.  I then tried to capture using "A" again and this time it detected the difference between SD footage and HDV footage (I had clips of both kinds on the same tape).
I ran similar capture tests on FCP 5.1, FCE 4, and FCPX and all three programs captured HDV video and audio.
Thanks again everyone.  Be sure the camera is set to output HDV or "A".
