What are the steps to take to RESTORE on the iPhone?

Connect your iPhone to the USB port on your computer. If you want all your info backed up first, do a sync in Itunes. In iTunes on the list on the left, click on the iPhone when it shows in the list and go to the summary tab. Click restore. It may download a file and then go through the restore process.
After the restore is complete, it will give you a chance to re-sync from your last backup. Select it and click continue. It's really very easy!

Apple can't do it, only you could potentially do it if you had enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. As a safety precaution you should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

Go to me.com, logon and go to the FindMyiPhone. If it does not appear then there is not much you can do.
Next step would be to appleid.apple.com and change your password to cut off access to your iDisk.

As suggested above no such procedure to be followed unless it is a DAG.
If you are running exchange and DC in one OS. Stop exchange services first then restart server. (commands below to stop exchange related services)
net stop msexchangeadtopology /y
net stop msexchangefba /y
net stop msftesql-exchange /y
net stop msexchangeis /y
net stop msexchangesa /y
net stop iisadmin /y
net stop w3svc /y
This is bcz DC stops quicker than Exchange, therefore Exchange is unable to write to the domain controller and has to be be "killed" by the operating system.
This continual "killing" of the Exchange services, instead of allowing them to shutdown gracefully is not good for the database and is one of the prime reasons for recommending that Exchange is not installed on a domain controller.
A better option is to stop the services before you begin to shutdown the server. This will also cause the server to shutdown more quickly because it isn't waiting for the services to timeout. This can significantly decrease the shutdown/reboot time of Server.

Hi Vin, custom fields that are not added through the EEW are not reflected in the BDOC structure(s) used for data migration and replication. Therefore I see two separate solutions: 1) Try to replace these non-EEW custom fields for EEW fields. (2) Manually extend the BDoc's to facilitate these additional fields, see IMG activity: CRM -> Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Business Add-Ins -> Business Add-In for Transfering Customer-Specific Fields to Middleware. I must warn you though, manually extending those BDoc's is a difficult and time consuming task so my recommendation would definately be to investigate your options using scenario 1. Tiest.

If you are unable to get the iPod into Disk Mode to try and restore it, it's a very good indication, as mentioned in the article, that the iPod's hard drive is damaged and in need of replacement either by Apple or a third party repair company.

CUA behaves differently during a system/client copy and this is the approach we took and it was successful. The goal is to take a backup of the source before CUA deletion then restore. Do not delete CUA and just attempt to rebuild it, all the roles will be gone. Backup and restore will be the approach I recommend.
a1. Take a snap shot of your QA user and role assignments before copy.
1. (Basis) First make a backup of the source system. This is important before step 2.
2. After successful backup delete the CUA from the source system.
3. After successful copy to target system, restore backup to source system.
4. Depending how the copy was done, users and passwords should be in the target system but all the role assignments will be gone.
5. Start assigning roles base on your requirements. If you need to restore the old QA settings that is captured in a1.
Perhaps others can add in other steps I might have missed.

If you have been backing up on Timemachine.
All you need to do is enter time machine... Then the rest is obvious.
Find the iTunes folder and hit 'Restor'.
If not the only way to get all your iTunes music back is to enter iTunes Store.
On the right hand side you should see 'Purchased'.
Click 'purchased' and there you have it.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can get a clue to what it is, and potentially use it, by going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and clicking 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have, or don't want to use, your rescue email address (you won't be able to add/change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset (which will be by phone as they need to verify your id - we are fellow users here on these forums).
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
