when jre1.5.0_06 is installed on my workstation. Why?

Under Control Panel -> Java
in the Java tab (Java Application Runtime settings), click on View...
You should be able to see all the versions on your system. If you don't see the required version, use Find... to locate it. Enable the version which you want to use and disable other versions.

If necessary, you need to specify whether the entire hierarchy or the hierarchy structure is to be time-dependent, whether intervals are permitted in the hierarchy, whether additional node attributes are allowed (only when loading using a PSA), and which characteristics are allowed.

16 is standard, 24-bit (new to GB4) is the highest resolution

this is a highly technical question as I am trying to reconnect a corrupt Time Machine volume to its original Macs, one of them running SL, the other Yosemite.
I tried what Pondini advises on his website, including a migration of the network preferences. When first plugging the TM volume, I get this in the Console:

I don't understand how it can detect a migration but still can't delete older backups on this drive to make room.

The MAC address in 3c belongs to the Snow Leopard Machine, the 00 one to the Yosemite machine. I know it sounds weird, but it is unclear how TM recognizes its backup drive. I first disabled ACL with fsaclctl (taken from a Leopard install DVD), and it worked, as said by:
sudo /Volumes/TW2/fsaclctl -p /Volumes/TW2
Access control lists are not supported or currently disabled on /Volumes/TW2.
Made sure the hidden file with the MAC address was correct, then re-enabled the ACLs.
ACLs and Xattr
Since the internal HDD had to be replaced, I wrote the com.apple.backupd.SnapshotVolumeUUID with the new HDD UUID in directory "Backups.backupdb/snowy/Latest":

Then went up two levels and checked the xattr:

Each computer has the correct addresses and HostUUID, i.e. the current ones.
Yet neither of those give the "Reuse existing backups" shown on Pondini's website, and tmutil on Yosemite doesn't succeed in reconnecting to the backups.
What is the point I am missing?

A couple of years ago, I purchased a high-end HP desktop specifically for working with Premiere Pro CS 5.5. My local computer store who has helped me with my computer is in awe of my machine -- powerful processors, massive storage, etc. Yet, there is very little I can do with Premiere Pro on my machine. Encore simply locks up my machine and forces a restart with no resolution hints available so I can't do much in the way of output, etc. I get a lot of messages that Premiere "can't do this and can't do that".
What I'd like to know is EXACTLY what Adobe Premiere CS 5.5 needs in the way of a hardware configuration, so I can get my desktop corrected so I can do professional video work? If I can't do anything with my system, there doesn't seem much value in upgrading to the online version. Thanks.

yes.....visit the tweakers page to see the recommended types of setups and provide a detailed description of your PC and its setup HERE, so after absorbing some criticisms....hah !...you may get some great tips to help you. Indicate your CPU, how much memory,current video card,and disk system,( how many drives,what each is, speed of each,etc.).
Also indicate the types of video you are trying to edit........what codecs....and if you are trying to apply non-CUDA accelated effects to your clips.
If changes are recommended here to improve performance, you can visit the PPBM 7 website to run a performance test BEFORE and AFTER, to compare results. As you are using the " older" 5.5 version....I believe you can still run the PPBM 5 test that was made for your PPro version. Beware if you are using Canon generated MOV files on the timeline, a slow 32 bit process is introduced, ( Quicktime ), that cripples the 64 bit PPro and limits memory use to 4 GB....it is better to transcode to the free cineform codec obtainable on the go pro site...especially if using CS5....

What is the proper way to run a DMM and Scope back and forth continuously?

I am running a list of tests from an Excel file that could be a DMM or Scope test or neither. I am creating a session of each at the beginning, setting up the device before measurement and disabling them after making a reading then set up the device before next reading. I thought this would be quicker than closing and initializing around each test. Is this an efficient way or is there a better way?

Execute tests runs the list of tests. Call Required Test Steps runs through each individual test. Device is called to initialize all devices before Execute tests is called. Then they are not closed until all tests have been ran.
Maybe to clarify my question.
Here is what I do with the DMM and scope

setup DMM or scope
measure
disable
setup DMM or scope

//(repeat these three steps as many times as needed)
Close DMM and Scope.
I disable so that the DMM isn't still reading Ohms when a voltage is connected, etc

These instructions are not working in iStore Canada, there is no NONE payment option.
It does work in iStore Mexico tho... I created an account there and added the NONE method but if I try to switch my country to Canada it asks me for a card again.
Now I have a gift code from a friend in Canada that I cannot claim because iStore Mexico says I can only claim it in iStore Canada and I am not able to switch country without a credit card.
PS: I do live in Canada and have a canadian card but I have no intention to input my card number even if they don't charge me.

Here is what I did:
Log off and restart iTunes.
Logged it with the account I opened for Mexico.
Changed my account region to Canada.
This started the account open section for Canada.
Now I followed the registration process again and found it loaded my mexican account information including the NONE option.
I fixed the address to Canad and finished.
My account got configured and I managed to redeem my gift.
