What are the selections when defining a job triggered by an event?

I use SM36 by defining a job triggered by an event. I click "Start conditions" button, then click "After event" button and place the event name.  I wonder if I would have to continue to click the button "Immediate" button and save it?  or just save it without clicking the "Immediate" button?
Thanks and this question is urgent!

Hi!
No you only save and after define the step!
If you click Immediate, your job start immediatelly and not after event.

  • What are the risks when doing a Delete / Re-load of Data in InfoCube?

    Hi,
What are the risks/issues when doing a complete Delete / Re-load of Data in InfoCube?
    Rgds,
    Mark.

We are introducing a new Key Figure to the InfoCube and this KF needs historical data.
The only way I thought this could be achieved was by deleting the data from the InfoCube and re-loading it (It gets loaded from R/3 with no ODS used).
Is this the only way or are there other options in a BW 3.5 environment?

  • What are the steps to define a phase listener in JSF 1.1?

    Hello everyone...
Implementing a page listener in JSF 1.2 (the one that comes with JDeveloper 11g) is very straight forward, you implement the methods getPhaseID, beforePhase, afterPhase, and then add the class into the JSF configuration file. It works like charm.
However, doing the same thing with JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 (it comes with JSF 1.1) never works... so I was wondering... Am I missing something? What are the correct steps to do it?
    thanks in advance.

    Dear Mr. John...
thanks for your kind reply... however, I already was able to implement the Phase Listener successfully in JDeveloper 11g with JSF 1.2 specs. And it works just fine...
what am I asking is that I am doing exactly the same steps under JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 under JSF 1.1 specs, but it does not work at all... so what is the problem? any idea?
    best regards

  • What are the key points of a job nterview as a java programmer ?

    Hi,
I would like to know what to expect from a job interview as an entry level java programmer ?
    Do you have recommendations ?
    Thank you in advance,
    Grazia

Primarily, be honest. That is true only if you are going to be
be interviewed by technical people. RH people don't
care for honesty or how good you are. More than once
I was asked in an interview:
"Are you an Expert in java? You would say from 0%
0% to 100% how much do you know java?"
My usual answer is: "No. I have still a lot to
to learn, java is a vast subject and its is very
unlikely someone know it all, I have a good grasp of
the sintax and of OO design but I would say I know
just 5% to 10%". Then they make a "face" pass a
crappy test that only deals with the simplest of the
java concepts(usually it is clear the person who
designed the test does not even grasp the basic), the
last one took me 8min to answer and I leave knowing
that one more time I did not got the job.
As it is I never go any job if the RH is the
he responsible for the hiring, I only get the job
when I talk directly with technical people.
May the code be with you.'RH'? You mean 'HR'?

  • What are the tarrifs when using a BT Broadband Hub...

    Hi.
I'm trying to find out exactly how much calls will cost if I get BT BB and make calls using the hub phone. The info on the website, here, is very basic:
    http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=27273&s_cid=con_FURL_...
For example, it says "All UK* Evening and Weekend calls are included at no extra cost". Assuming that that means evening and weekend calls up to one hour long are free, do I pay for calls made at other times of the day? And are those at the normal BT tarriff?
So, it's really just like an additional line but with no extra line rental? (but perhaps with cheaper international calls).
    Am I correct?

page 31 in this might help
    http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumer/consumerProducts/pdf/UKInternationalprices.pdf
    BT Broadband Talk call prices
The prices for BT Broadband Talk calls to UK local and national
numbers beginning with 01, 02, 03 and 056, (not including
calls to internet service providers) and to BT Broadband
    numbers beginning with 055114, 055116, and 055554
depend on your choice of plan and the time period in which
    you make the call.
    Calls are charged as follows:
Evening and Weekend Plan - during the Evening and Weekend
periods each call is charged at 0 pence for the first hour and
6.40 pence per minute thereafter. Call made in the Daytime
period are charged at 6.40 pence per minute throughout.
Anytime Plan - each call is charged at 0 pence for the first
hour and 6.40 pence per minute regardless of when the call is
Calls to the Channel Islands, calls to non-BT 055 (excluding
those listed above) numbers and calls from Northern Ireland to
fixed phones in the Republic of Ireland, are not charged at
these rates. Details of these and all other calls not specified
above are set out elsewhere in this guide.

  • What are the Settings when doing Green Screen?

I had the green screen settings saved on my computer and somehow they've disappeared. I have been in the meantime just making an educated guess by using these settings:
    Ultra Key Output Composite
    Setting Custom
Key Color (eyedropper) the green just above the shoulder
    Matte Generation
    Transparency: 50
    Highlight: 0
    Shadow: 50
    Tolerence: 100
    Pedestal: 100
    Matte Cleanup
    choke: 0.0
    Soften: 0.0
    Contrast: 0.0
    Mid Point: 50
    Spill Suppression
    Desaturate: 50
    Range: 25
    Spill: 50
    Luma: 50
    Color Correction
    Saturation: 100
    Hue: 0
    Luminance: 100
This is my result so far, but I used to have different settings and these were just ones I had to experiment with as I couldn't find the original ones. Here is my upload to YouTube using these settings, I realize I need to invest in more lights which would probably make this process easier:
    link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7mGYyQofOg&feature=share&list=UUxdGY8nhB7waymVljxwuEsA
and this is the green screen only, although this was done in Adobe Premiere Elements 11 and I can't figure out why it's got that black frame:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zEAOXB5lSQ&feature=share&list=UUxdGY8nhB7waymVljxwuEsA
This was the green screen shoot that I used the settings that I lost that was given to me from the Adobe Forum some time ago (again I'd have a better result if I had more lighting):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9_VNk8v0ks&feature=share&list=UUxdGY8nhB7waymVljxwuEsA

No one can tell you what settings to use, it is unique to every single scene (and sometimes changes during the scene as well!). Start with the eydropper, then tweak settings until it looks as good as possible. Move sliders and watch results. I'm sure you can Google up some tutorials on setting the keyer controls.
As a constructive criticism, I viewed the YouTube videos (keyed and original) and forgetting about keying for a moment, the quality of the clip itself as just a video is very sub-par. I would never even make any attempt to key such a poor quality of source clip. Sorry. And close the shade, the light coming in from the left on the subjects arm is apparently also glaring into the lens and causing the washed out area in middle of image.
One does not need to spend big bucks on pro lighting. Go down to the hardware store and get some of the those shiny metal bowl type of light fixtures that have a spring clamp on them, less than $10. And get "GE Reveal" bulbs, which create a nice clean light (standard incansdescent bulbs have a reddish cast).
Get your subject farther from the green background, and light the background separately. Throw some light at the background, as even as possible, such as one light angled in from each side, and then put another light or two on the subject. That is a good starting point. Use manual white balance on camera and get a good focus and you should be in business.
    Good luck
    Jeff

I will be creating an alternative alias in Planning for the first time and I am curious if there are any gotchas. Any drawbacks?

Uniqueness would probably be the one to watch out for, I don't see many drawbacks it is quite common to use alternate alias tables.

  • What are the notes of the Smart Guitar?

When I open iOS GarageBand's Smart Guitar on Key C-Major, what are the notes I'm seeing? For instance, what are the notes when I tap the C chord string from 1 (bottom) to 6 (up)?
My actual goal is to record all string tap sounds, cut them into respective pieces in Audacity, then save them as e.g. "C.wav", for further use in another context. I like how GarageBand lays out the chords so my small (noncommercial) program aims to copy this, albeit I'm not a professional musician (as you can see from my question, I'm sure!).
    Thanks!

    1. Keeping track of the individual conversations taking place between applications on the source and destinations on the source and destination hosts. 2. Segmenting data and adding a header to identify and manage each segment. 3. Using the header information to reassemble the segments into applications data. 4. Passing the assembled data to the correct applications.

With Premiere Elements 11, when Publish/Share (saving) a finished video, selecting H.264  .mov file type, what are the recommended Aspect and Codec settings , for a crisp video with a small file size?

    Gary Krouse
We will customize a very detailed reply, but
    (a) What are the properties of your source media?
    (b) What did you or the program set as the project preset to match the properties of the source media?
    (c) What specific requirements do you have for this H.264.mov export file?
File size can be a compromise between bitrate, file size, and quality.
    Thanks.

  • What are the effects on BW when R/3 system is down?

    Hi BW Experts,
What are the effects on BW system, when R/3 systems are down for maintenance?
And what care we need to take towards BW during the down time?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Sunil.

    Hi Sunil,
when R/3 system is down the BW daily loads & weekly loads will fail.
the best solution is you can reschedule the job when R/3 is Up.
You can cancel the running jobs by going through
SM37 -- > select that particular job --> JOB (in menu bar) --> select released --> schedule option.

Well, try this (I was able to fix my with these steps):
    Go Utilities > Disk Utility
Select your Startup Disk, e.g. Macintosh HD
Then, under the First Aid Tab, click Verify Disk Permissions.
If there are errors, then click repair Disk Permissions.
After it is done, restart the computer and see if your problem is resolved.
