What are the steps for buying Final Cut Pro X and downloading a full version.i have a license certificate, but i cant be able to license the trial version

How do i download a full version of Final Cut Pro.I have the license agreement with the serial numbers.but now i am unable to license the trial. What needs to be done here.I was sent the license agreement by our Head Office

Do you refer to Final Cut Pro as part of The Final Cut Studio bundle?
Or FCP X?
The former has serial numbers, the later is a direct purchase from the Apple App Store and no serial number is required.

i need to buy final cut pro software  and i need it to support arabic writing the problem iam in germany  the  i tune here does not give you chance to choose the
    language

If you want the menus and dialogues of the app to be in Arabic, that's not possible, there is no Arabic version of this software.
If you just want to write Arabic language titles, etc., the language of the app is irrelevant, the input of different languages is handled by the OS, and Arabic input is always available.
All Apple software is multilingual, no matter where you buy it. For example, the user interface for Final Cut Pro can be switched among English, Chinese, French, German, and Japanese.

  • Best Video format for Aperture, Final Cut Pro, iPad, and iPhones

I am moving all of my photos and video into Aperture and notice that only .MOV video form my iPhone 4 and .MP4 video from my go pro camera are displayed in Aperture browser mode. The .MPG files form my old Sony Powershot do not show up in the browser or in "Video" searches. I also have a set of very large (13GB)  .AVI video files that I cannot import into Final Cut Pro.
    My first question is:
If I want all of my videos to be completely compatible with all of my Apple products, should I convert everthing to .MOV format, and if so; whcih converter should I use?
    My second question is:
My ten big (13gb) sets of vacation video are still on mini DV cassettes. I have already imported them into a PC as .AVI files. What should I convert them to, in order to edit them in Final Cut Pro; or should I import them again directly into Final Cut Pro? If so, which format is best?
    Thank you for your advice,

    "Is this even possible?."
    No.
First, you don't need any additional software.
Second, every time video is processed it will change in some way. It will never be exactly the same as the original. It may in fact look better. However, you are not dealing with a top of the line camera. There are many compromises in it to make it affordable. These compromises in lens, chip size and quality and so on will be exacerbated as the media is processed. If the shooting conditions are not optimal, light, camera support, content, format, all of these will make reproducing the exact original more difficult and more improbable. That said AVCHD is inherently an excellent format and you should get excellent results. There is a great deal you can do in color correction and effects to improve the image and make it even more pleasing than the original, but this requires work and is not sonething achieved by clicking a button. It is also not something achieved by simply plugging in the camera and running the software. That is not how to get the best out of it. It's complex, professional software that's going to take time to learn, and video production is a complex process that takes time and effort to do really well.
My opinion which is worth what you paid for it.

  • How do I deactivate the serial for my Final Cut Pro?

Hello, I have decided to sell my Mac Book Pro and am wondering how to deactivate the serial number for it. I have the serial for my version of fcp 6.0 on two computers already, I would like to be able to put the serials I purchased onto one of my own computers sometime in the future. I have already deactivated and uninstalled all of my Adobe products, but it is not obvious in FCP how this is done. This same problem exists for DVD Studio Pro... can anyone help?

    Great minds think alike!
You never know how much other personal info resides on a computer, keychains, passswords, internet histories and caches, address books, etc, etc.
Put in the install disc, boot from it, erase the hard drive, do the install from however many discs it takes, and when they tell you to restart your computer to finish the install process, just shut it down (no restart.)
The buyer will boot it and get all the registration info etc, just like it was a new machine right from the factory. (Thanks to Brian Connor for that install tip.)

  • Where can I buy final cut pro 7

Does anyone know where to buy final cut pro 7 and if it is compatible with mountain lion. If I installed mountain lion and used to have snow leaport. I used to have final cut pro 5 and live text...is it anyway I can go back to snowleapard after installed mountain lion so can use final cut pro again? since do not like the new final cut pro x. Many thanks!

According to Apple, Final Cut Pro 7 require 10.5.6 or later so it should be compatible with 10.6, 10.7 0r 10.8.

An Internet search will produce many sources where you may obtain Final Cut Pro 7.
Should you have more queries regarding this topic, I suggest you post them on the Final Cut forum in the Professional Applications section.
    Ciao.

  • Question about Final Cut Pro X and miniDV's

    Hi,
I'm thinking in buying Final Cut Pro X and use it to import and edit many hours of footage that I have on miniDV's tapes.
I've heard that to work with miniDV's, Final Cut Pro X is not great, especially regarding timecode, etc. True?
Any thoughts and advises? Many thanks!

My experience is if you're shooting SD then you shouldn't have a problem unless you are trying to load a full hour. When I tried that, the computer went crazy and loaded the video as thousands of clips just a few frames long.
That was supposed to be for a multicam shoot. I went back to FCP 7 where I've never had a single problem after at least 80 multicam projects with as many as eight cameras.
I'll have to try it again in FCP X now that there have been two updates since my last try.
I've also used HDV mini DV tapes shot with a Canon HV40. The video looked great in FCP X and I had no problem with clips that were 2-3 minutes long.
I did not load my HDV clips as ProRes in FCP X because, when I did try it, they looked like total crap. I was afraid my finished exported video would also look like that.

Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones.

  • I am putting together a proposal for a Final Cut Pro Workstation to use with a tapeless HD camera.  Can anyone suggest the best camera (in the 5-10,000 dollar range) ?  What hardware and software should I include in the package?

I am putting together a proposal for a Final Cut Pro Workstation to use with a tapeless HD camera.  Can anyone suggest the best camera (in the 5-10,000 dollar range) ?  What hardware and software should I include in the package?

This is quite an open suggestion, but here are some ideas which might get you started.  There are good HD cameras in your price range from Sony, Panasonic and Canon (and maybe other manufacturers). Tapeless formats vary.  I have only worked with Sony XDCAM which seems pretty good to me.  File sizes for material shot at 35MBS are not too huge and, with the free Sony transfer and conversion programme, are easy to bring into the computer via USB direct from the camera or from a fairly inexpensive converter.  The Sony XDCAM EX3 can produce results well up to broadcast quality.
As to hardware, you'll need a powerful MAC - iMac, Macbook Pro or MacPro with 4GB or more of RAM and a good video card.  Softwarewise, FCPX is quite a bit cheaper than FC Studio 3 and of course it's 64bit and can make better use of multi-core machines than FCP7.    It's also designed to handle HD formats with less hassle than FCP7 and is matched to the latest versions of Motion and Compressor.   But you'd probably be wise to search reviews of FCPX before you make your choice - it has some issues.
A good HD monitor will be essential and, for colour correction etc, you may want to consider a second monitor or HD TV foe editing. ( A MacPro is generally the best machine to connect a second monitor to).
This should give you a good editing system, but there are many other things you could add (Photoshop, professional sound monitors, etc)
    Hope this helps a bit.

  • What's the best Mac for running Final Cut Pro X?

Title says it all. What's the best Mac for running Final Cut Pro X? I'm not looking to make a feature length hollywood film. But I'd like to be able to edit video without lag.

Yes. Begin with the fastest processor / graphics card / and as much RAM as you can afford. (As all three will become obsolete over time.)
I started from scratch. I have a 27-inch iMac with a 3.4 G Intel Core i7. (currently the fastest processor for an iMac) I also ordered the best graphics card--AMD Ratheon HD. I ordered 16G of RAM, but recently added more RAM to equal 24G. (OWC makes good after-market RAM for iMACs.)
Last, I ordered a flash drive / SATA hard drive combo.  (250G on flash / ITB on SATA). The OS and all of my applications run off the flash drive. (for fast start up!)
I put all of my media and FCP projects onto the SATA hard drive.
Now, I had the option to order a 2TB SATA. But, I realized I can always buy more external storage as I edit more and more projects. ALSO! FCPX is GREAT when it comes to editing projects on external drives! I can segregate an entire project and its media files onto a removeable drive. I simply launch FCPX, plug in the drive and--poof!--I'm ready to edit. It sees the project and the media right away. When I'm done editing, I can then send this drive to another editor (also using FCPX) or attach it to my MacBook if I want to edit the same project in the field.
This has worked for me. I wish you luck.

Well, when I start working (should I say try to work with FCPX, activity monitor in the %processor column for FCPX jumps rapidly over 100% and reaches more than 200% ??? What the **** is that ?
200% or more is not strange. Remember that your mac has 4 cores (you say it's 3 months old, so I assume it is a new model), so 200% amounts to using 2 of these 4 cores to the max.
Regarding the question of creating a new admin user: while it sits in the same system, it may help if the problem is caused by some user-specific preferences or settings. Not likely in your case, since you seem to have reinstalled from scratch, but still it is worth a try. It takes 5 minutes and may help pinpoint the problem.

  • I am a Media Pastor at a church and am needing to find a Macbook that will fulfill the needs of running Final Cut Pro and Wirestream. What Macbook would be sufficient to do the job?

I am needing some guidance on the purchase of a Macbook Pro. I am wanting to have Wirestream Pro 4, a live streaming/recording software, and Final Cut Pro 7 and am needing to see what i would need to run them as far as drive capacity etc.

The top end MacBook Pro 15" (17" high res/anti-glare for full 1080 HD screen)  for mobile video needs with some restrictions and hinderances, you will need the Build to Order 7,200 RPM drive for sure as you need space and speed.
You can have 8GB of RAM from Apple or place 16GB in yourself for a lot less than Apple charges for 8GB. However you need to be handy with tiny screws, or have a local specialist do the 16GB for you.
Your probally better off with a MacPro than a MacBook Pro.
The MacPro is more powerful, and easier to get inside and do things, lasts longer, more ports, more drives, more storage for video, fast external RAID 5 setups etc.
So if you can get into a MacPro, that would be a better option for video.

  • How to buy Final cut pro?

Hi, I can't seem to buy final cut pro X. When I try, the apple store tells me I need at least 4 GB to download it. Thing is, I have 96 GB available. I don't understand what I am supposed to do. Do you have any advice?

The minimum requirements for FPX can be found here:
    http://www.apple.com/final-cut-pro/specs/
The short of it is - you need to be running osx 10.9, have 4 GB of RAM and have an Open CL video card.
If your system does not meet those minimums, you are wasting your money to purchase the app.
