What are the use cases of Oracle SOA Coherence?

Hi All,
I would like to understand the actual use cases of Oracle SOA Coherence? Also, Coherence is bundled with SOA Suite or we need a separate License for it?

I sincerly advice you to search SCN or any anywherelse as big theory is behind this
few related info.
If you are using more than one screen to collect the data to update a perticular table and corresponding underlying table Child table in that case , after every screen change an implicit data base commit takes place and you are still collecting the data from other screens , in such cases you use IN UPDATE TASK

When we call SOA service from another SOA service most of the time Local RMI call is used even you are using SOAP over http to invoke the service, this based on your SOA configuration - Refer the following url for more details on Local optimization.

SOAP binding will help us to invoke the service exposed with WSDL and accepts XML as request/response.
HTTP Binding will help us to invoke any services that will accept HTTP GET/POST messages but there is restriction with input/output message type(refer this document for more details Getting Started with Binding Components - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.7)).
HTTP binding is light weight and provides better performance.

What are the solutions offered by Oracle to handle length based products

We are on 11.5.10. Current version treats beams as each, we have 30 feet beams, 20 feet beams etc.
We do not want to set-up different items for each length of beam.
We need ability to tell we have 10 pieces of 26 feet beams in inventory.
Currently we can only tell we have 260 feet of beams.
Current solution treats it discretley. We need ability to sell length based items, receive length based items, do inventory management based on length based items.
a) What are the solutions offered by Oracle in latest releases for Length based products or for Mill products.
b) If there are any solutions offered by Oracle to handle length based or mill products, can these be back ported to Oracle 11.5.10?

If you're looking to install Fusion HCM, your best bet is to install on linux, eg, Oracle Enterprise Linux. It's up to you whether you put that in a Virtual Machine or not. I don't think Windows is an available platform for Fusion Apps at the moment, although am prepared to be corrected if you find anything to the contrary!
If you're looking to do an install on your own PC/laptop, you're probably out of luck - you'll be needing around 128GB of RAM. Check out this post:
