I am a research student at the University and the I recently downloaded Oracle 9i for my research. But the problems is also with seting it up. Please could you show me the userid, password, and host name for oracle 9i.

I believe that starting with 9.2, you have to specify different passwords when you install (can't be the default).

As you know LO cockpit consists of different modules(MM, PP, SD, etc)
They are called appl components. Each of them have a number (eg.MM=02) and for each appl comp they might be different Data sources and for each DS they might be different tables. So, unless you be specific we cant tell a specific table for a DS.
coming to the delta mechanisms, there are " direct delta, queqed delta and serialized delta".
Copa is based on the oepration concern. it can be created on " accouting based" or "costing based".

What are the minimum CPU and Memory requirements for R12 Vision instance?

We are in the process of trying to figure out what the minimum hardware requirements are for installing the R12 Vision instance. This Vision instance would only have 5 or less concurrent users. We may have to order a new server and we are wondering what the minimum CPU and memory would be? Oracle Support will not give us this information.
We aleady know how much disk space it will need.

What are the correct setup and system settings for importing HDV video from tape?

I keep trying different "easy setups" and system settings/preferences in order to import both the audio and video from HDV recordings on miniDV tape to no avail in either FCE4 or FCP5. I import via firewire from the camera. My computer "sees" the camera and controls playback (I can hear the audio) but no video displays for capture (just color bars).
My camera is a Canon Vixia HV40 and my computer is a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
I've tried the HDV easy setup...no video...
I've tried HDV 1080i/60 as I saw recommended somewhere else...no video...
Captures standard video just fine but I'd like to try editing some higher def footage.
Any suggestions?

The combination of all these helpful ideas solved the problem.
I set AV settings to HD and Apple Intermediate Codec HDV 1080i/60 AND set the cameras output to "locked" HDV. Funny, it had been on "A" (Auto) before and should have simply sensed the need for HD output. I then tried to capture using "A" again and this time it detected the difference between SD footage and HDV footage (I had clips of both kinds on the same tape).
I ran similar capture tests on FCP 5.1, FCE 4, and FCPX and all three programs captured HDV video and audio.
Thanks again everyone. Be sure the camera is set to output HDV or "A".

What exactly you want to ask?
if you are talking about the userid,passwod and host after installing the downloaded version then you can use sys/change_on_install, system/manager or scott/tiger etc as userid/password and hostwill be the ipaddress/physical name of the machine where you installed oracle.
for connecting to oracle server from oracle client you have to configure tnsnames.ora under $ORACLE_HOME/netowrk.admin.
