Or do you think you know better than the very sophisticated processing and scheduling models that the kernel support - and should override that and control that from userspace?
I fear that particular instances overallocate CPU resource on the host and this affects performance of other instances on the host if CPU_COUNT value is set to default for every instances. Sounds like baloney to me. What you fear and not not fear does not change reality. What is the reality? What is the problem? In crystal clear technical details?

Thank for your up date . in my case   the customer is assigned with   two sales area. The org model , nothing is maintained in the attributes , still one is appearing in the pop up and and other one is not . It is surpricing.
if you can mention the logic of maintaining the   division and distribution channel inthe attribute it is of great help.

I can only help on part of your questions, since I'm not familar with R/3 data uploading ...
If you want to download data from BW infocube to APO DP:
1)For CVCs, you can just use /sapapo/mc62, input POS name, click 'Create Characteristic Combinations'.
   Then select an option except 'Create manually'.
   In the 'Data Source' area, select load data from 'InfoProvider'.
   Then you can load CVCs from infocube to APO system for generation.
2)For transactional data (key figure values), you can use /sapapo/tscube.
   Just fill in the source cube's name, version, and tagert planning area's name, version.
   Key figure assignment and characteristic assignment are also necessary.
   Specify other options as to your requirement, and you can download transactional data from BW to DP.

what are the ways to download data from ods?
1. se11/se12
2. listcube
3. infospokes.
Apart from the above 3 is there any other way to download data from my ods.
I need to download around 90 fields from my ods to a flat file. But listcube doesnt allow me to select all the fields. So i used se11 to download the data from my ods. bUt still se12 doesnt allow me to download all the 90 fields it downloads only 40 fields.
Can anyone suggest me how to select all the 90 fields and download it to an excel sheet.

Hi Haritha,
Go to Tcode SE16, give your ODS active Table name and give width of output list as 1023.
Now run transaction to see your data and then click Settings --> User parameters and Select ALV Grid Display.
Now you should see and Excel Icon on top, click on it then select Table , then
Microsoft Excel and it will open your data with all columns you want.
I just tried for 213 columns

Check the Idoc Status in R/3 with WE05.
Idocs will fail in following conditions
1) Idoc will be in error if all the mandatory field are not mapped.
2) If partner profile is not maintained.
3) Most of the times, idocs will be in error due to functional issues.....check the status and take help from functional guys.
Once the error resolved, reprocess the same idoc using BD87

In our implementation we have single set of responsibilities in financials modules but multiple inventory organizations. They are using one set of responsibilities to purchase materials for multiple inventory organizations.
In other implementation I worked on they are using few PO responsibilities to purchase materials for many inventory organizations?

using JDeveloper 10.1.3. I am using <c:if test="${createMode}"> to hide or unhide some of my form's buttons.
I have found ${editMode} too. I like to know if other mode control statements exists????and what are they?

When a query runs slow, we generally go for creating an aggregate. My doubt is - what other things can be done to make a query run faster before creating an aggregate? What is the thumb rule to be carried out for creating an aggregate?

If you keep Query simple not complicate it with runtime calculations , it would be smooth. However as per business requirements we will have to go for it anyways mostly.
regarding aggregates:
Please do not use the standard proposal , it will give you hundreds based on std. rules , which consumes lots of space and adds up to load times. If you have users already using the Query and you are planning to tune it then go for the statistics tables:
1.RSDDSTAT_OLAP find the query with long runtimes get the Stepuid
2. RSDDSTAT_DM
3. RSDDSTATAGGRDEF - use the stepuid above to see which aggregate is necessary for which cube.
Another way to check ; check the users as in 1 to find the highest runtime users and find the last used bookmarks by user thru RSZWBOOKMARK for this query and check if the time matches and create the aggregates as in 3 above.
You can also Use Transaction RSRT > execute & debug (display stats ) - to create generic aggregates to support navigations for New queries and later refine as above.

Home button stuck on iPod Touch. What are the ways in fixing this problem?

I've had my ipod touch from Nov 2011, and just recently I have noticed the ipod touch home button is getting stuck and that I have to push the button hard for it to work. Sometimes it works with a slight touch. I put assistive touch on so that if i have any problems I can get an easy fix out of it. But having the assistive touch is really annoying because the normal button is not working and it gets in the way of what I'm doing. Is there any way on fixing this problem other than using the assistive touch.
I've used tips on the following video which seem to work. But its only a temporary fix to my problem.

There are some things you can do to avoid having your email activity monitored. Perhaps the easiest defense is to adjust the settings of your email program so there is no image rendering.
It used to be set that way by default but last year, in a boon to marketers, Gmail made the setting an opt-out feature and many other email providers followed suit. Disabling images will sift and block images from incoming emails, including those tiny, pixel-size tracking bugs. You can click on the missing images you want to see and which ones you don’t."

See an option there to turn off remote loading of content
I leave mine always off using the above dialog box.
The email will go through to your mail box but the images will not follow unless you click an option in your mail box to load remote images - you can do this for each message.

So if one was looking at an adult website and a new window pops up after you click something and when you try to close said window a tiny box pops up and then another on top of it asking you to hit okay if you want to leave the site, can you click ok and not have to worry about anything and also hit okay on the small box underneath it and still not have anything to worry about? I tried to quit safari instead of closing the boxes but it wouldn't let me do anything except click okay in bue to exit or hit cancel to keep looking at the new window. I have had that happen twice. 'Worry' is a problem more easily fixed than vulnerability to malware. Apple has no control over what you install on its computer, or what vulnerabilities Adobe or another company has built into its latest release. I like to backup regularly, and keep sensitive materials off your computer (on DVD, for example) until needed, when you can mount them.
Should you want to wander in such dangerous streets as 'adult' websites or security websites, 'worry' can be eliminated by switching your browser to Firefox, then add the 'Finjan' security extension. Now, when you use an internet search engine, Finjan will examine the links listed for attempts to install malware or engage in other suspicious activity. That should reduce your worry.
The latest Mac TV add says Mac laptops are very popular on university campuses. It's never too early to develop good security habits. Bad security habits are hard to break; and there will be a time when you need to.
The worst habit is not being careful: mistyping a popular website into the Google engine (I use the Wikipedia for a link to the real one), panicking when you get alarming e-mail, clicking a hyperlink on e-mail (without waiting for the real url to pop-up) rather that going there from a reliable bookmark or web-location icon (which is faster), paying with credit card rather than on-line bank, not clicking the little commercial icons to verify the legitimacy of a website. You get the idea: 'not bothering'.
When you click and button that says 'Click here to Close Window', it will often attempt to install malware. You can always 'Force Quit' from the poison apple drop-down menu instead, if you're trapped.

I just finished publishing my AIR mobile app for iOS and Android, both featuring freemium style in-app purchasing/billing, for a single purpose only - opening the app to be full featured.
Now the client wants a desktop version of the app. I need a way to monetize the same way: the user wants all the features - they click a button in the app, pay the 2 dollars, and now all the features are accessible.
I think going out to PayPal, paying there and returning to the app would be best, but I cannot get the files I found here to work.
Do you have any suggestions of a workflow with examples, or a service with AS3 support?
