What are the "Workflow services" ?

Hi all,
I saw a slide show about the BPEL workflow capabilities and the term "Workflow Services" was mentioned there.
Is "Workflow Services" a separate product ? I see it's not part of the BPEL PM and I don't see it in the downloads section.
What am I missing here ?
(I hope to get more workflow capabilities then the built-in "User task" activity ;-)

The javadocs for ProvisioningOptions are available in the Ref toolkit provided with IDM.
In that javadoc, the fields that are defined are the actual options that can be passed (without the preceding underscore).
eg: _unassignTargets defined in the javadoc will be used as "unassignTargets" in the options map in Xpress.

  • What are the essential services that are required for ensuring server is healthy up ?

    Hi All,
Please advise me What are the essential services that are required for ensuring server is healthy up ?
    Warm regards,
    jk1510

The easiest way to find the Health report of server or workstation follow the below steps which is very much easiest way to get it done
There are a few ways to find this in Windows Server 2008.
First click “Start” and type “Generate a system health report”
Or second navigate your way to the Control Panel choose “System and Security” and choose “Generate a system health report”.
The last is to type “Generate a system health report” into the “Search Control Panel” box in the upper right hand corner of the Control Panel window.
Once armed with this data it’s easier to refute or acknowledge an issue is at hand.
BTW if you’re looking for this same thing in Windows 7 it’s there just buried a bit more.
Search Performance in the Start Menu, choose “Performance Information and Tools”, click “Advanced Tools” from the menu on the left, and finally choose “Generate a system
    health report”.

  • What are the pipeline services?

    Hi experts!
In the trasaction sxmb_adm when you display the pipeline service it shows the elements of it. for example the Receiver Identification is the a PLSRV_RECEIVER_DETERMINATION service. But what is it?an abap class, an executable program? I know that the pipeline service itself is a ICF service.
    Please help

    Hi
I found the class CX_RD_PLSRV. it can be the underlying class for the step PLSRV_RECEIVER_DETERMINATION? Is there any connection save anywhere between the step name and a class itself ?
I think for the PLSRV_RECEIVER_MESSAGE_SPLIT pipeline step the
CL_XMS_PLSRV_RECEIVER_SPLIT class is the responsible. Is it true? Where could I the information about this in the sap system.
    Thanks

Did you download AS8.1 agent under http://www.sun.com/download/products.xml?id=4266924d?
If you can unjar am_as81_agent_2_1.jar after installing the J2EE agent, you will find AgentRealm.class under com.sun.amagent.as.realm.
Please also note that page 161 of J2EE agent guide shows how to disable AgentRealm to better fit your agent policy mode. Check it out http://docs-pdf.sun.com/816-6884-10/816-6884-10.pdf

  • What are the racg services

Hi, Can someone tell me what the "racg" terminology means/stands for, thanks.

    Hi Allan,
This is part of Clusterware logging
    • client: Contains log files for various OCR applications, including CLSCFG, CSS, OCRCHECK,OCRCONFIG, OCRDUMP, and OIFCFG
    • crsd: Contains log files for the crsd daemon, including crsd.log
    • cssd: Contains log files for ocssd daemon, including ocssd.log
    • evmd: Contains log files for evmd daemon, including evmd.log
    • racg: Contains log files for node applications, such as VIP and ONS
The log files in these directories grow quite rapidly, so you may wish to back them up and truncate them periodically. In addition, check for core dumps and delete them when they are no longer required. In Oracle 10.1, the log files can be found in different locations. There is no equivalent to the
client directory; client applications, such as OCRCONFIG and OIFCFG, generally create log files in the current working directory. The remaining daemons create log files in the following directories:
    • crsd: $ORA_CRS_HOME/crs/log
    • cssd: $ORA_CRS_HOME/css/log
    • evmd: $ORA_CRS_HOME/evm/log
    • racg: $ORA_CRS_HOME/racg/log and $ORA_CRS_HOME/racg/dump

  • What is the workflow document web services service?

Workflow approval message is stuck in the inbox. It mail_status is mail. It's status is open.
I can see the approval message in the inbox and it is holding up other emails as it's just sitting there.
I can't see any reason for it to be sitting there so I bounced the WF Notification Mailer using:
service_components -> WorkflowMailer Service -> Stop All wait for it to stop completely then -> start all
So after starting all -> the workflow services (all 3 ) State is Activated, but there is a Big red X in the Status and the status of the workflow I'm trying to get out of the inbox is still open.
There is nothing in the logs yet so I can't see what that big red X means.
So I decide to stop and start the WF services one by one.
I stop workflow document web services service first. As soon as it starts to stop, the Worfkflow agent listener and the Workflow Mailer suddenly start up, the big red X goes away and the messages in the inbox all process.
What's up with that? What is " the workflow document web services service?" and why is it hanging my Mailer?

  • HT204053 What are the pros and cons of 1) choosing to use the SAME Apple ID for iCloud services on one side, and purchases on the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore, on the other side; or 2) to have and use two separate Apple Ids for these "two sides

All is in the title, so I repeat it below with a better identation.
What are the pros and cons of
    1) choosing to use the SAME
Apple ID for iCloud services on one side, and
purchases on the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore, on the other side; or
    2) to have and use two separate Apple Ids for these "two sides"?
    P.S.
I have loads and loads of free podcasts in iTunes in my iMac, that are certainly more thant the 5 gigas the iCloud provides for free, so I don't want those to go to the cloud. But this is perhaps a different question...
Also need to mention that I have itunes on a mac, a pc and an iphone.
Sorry to look so silly with this question, but I don't get the "big picture".

You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

  • What are the avlble methods to Measure  Quality of Customer Service in SAP

    Hi
We are in Retail business, and I would like to know what are the available methods to measure the Quality of Customer service in SAP CRM. Help us to get the required information?
    Best regards

    Venkat,
there are two aspects to this :
    1. The overall philosophy ( for want of a better word ) of QOS for any service - there is a lot of thought that has gone into measuring QOS for a service - hence I would say that QOS is more related to the specific service than the entire domain.
    2. Measuring the quality of service in terms of what ? - there are a lot of KPIs for the same some of them could be :
Average time taken to service a customer
Does the customer get all that they want in the store or only some of the items ( partial fill)
Are the products neatly arranged and easy to access
average time taken for the customer to get what h/she needs
customer facilities like parking / childern play area etc
Availability of attendants / helpers for the customer
    home delivery
credit options... etc etc and the list could go on endlessly ... as you can see it is very specific to the service being provided and accordingly you will get KPIs for the same.
As for measauring the same - there are umpteen ways to do the samedepending on the place it gets recorded - you can have surveys / web surveys / POS details etc etc - what is it that you are looking for specifically ?
    Arun
    Hope it helps....

  • What are the best settings to use for the newest AirPort Extreme (AC wifi) with my optimum online service provider?

I have the current generation of the AirPort Extreme and a handful of devices that utilize the new 5Ghz A/C frequency. My internet speeds were blazing fast when I had first set it up but lately it has been lagging terribly. I was told that changing my dhcp did help, which it did it seems like it might be back to its normal speeds but I just want to know what are the best settings to configure for the airport so that I can get the most out of my service on all my devices? I'm using a CAT 6 cable which does help, I have a guest wifi setup with a wifi password which I understand will slow it down a little. Can anyone just point me in the right direction or just give me a step by step guide on what settings to configure? Should I really consider turning off the guest network?

I am assuming that you are looking to configure your network to provide the highest level of bandwidth possible for your network clients. If that is the case, the following are a few things to consider:
The Internet modem should support Gigabit Ethernet. That is the Ethernet connection between the modem and your 802.11ac AirPort Extreme should be Gigabit Ethernet.
Use CAT-5e or CAT-6 Ethernet cables between all wired connections.
Only expect 802.11ac performance with 802.11ac clients in the same room as the base station.
Eliminate or significantly reduce any forms of Wi-Fi interference on both the 2.4 & 5 GHz bands.
When streaming, especially HD video on your local network, use wired connections between the host and player devices when possible.
Other than the above suggestions there are no "magic" settings that you can make on your AirPort. Note: The Guest network shares the same bandwidth as the "main" network. Unless you have a network goal to provide this type of network, it is best left disabled.

  • What are the settings for automatic service PO?

What are the settings for automatic service PO?

    Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to automatically create the PR for services. It would be similar to MD04 but instead of being for stockable materials, it would be done for non-stockable materials (services in this case).
PR would be generated monthly, because this services have to be paid every month, for example electricity, water, rent, phone bills.
I hope you can help me, thank you!

  • What are the different messages that OCOD may return for a web service requ

    Hi,
Please give me feedback on the questions below, concerning the limitations of web service, and messages which may return.
    1) What are the different messages that OCOD may return for a web service request? I need all the messages of all the scenarios which OCOD can meet, for example:
    - If the file is rejected (Error message)
    - If the file is accepted (to clarify that the records have been created)
    - if the application is unavailable (maintenance or web service is down)
    2) How many request can we send simultaneously, and how many records we can make per second?

  • What are the differences between Oracle Service Bus 10g and WLI 10g?

    Hi,
To me both Oracle Service Bus 10g R3 and Weblogic Integration 10g seem to offer the same functionalities for implementing an enterprise middleware.
I would be grateful if someone could:
    1. provide me with the two products' differences.
    2. describe what their roadmap is?
    3. what are their positioning in the Oracle product catalog? Are they both members of Oracle SOA Suite? Fussion Middleware?
    Thanks a lot,
    Best regards,
    Babis.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply,
Eduardo: the answer to your questions are that all the flows will be short-lived but if we can make long-lived flows then we might consider developing them. We would need to persist the state of the flow somehow.
I understand that some of our requirements would be better accomodated by WLI or bpel but we don't have an option but only to use OSB.
So, do you think we could overcome the stateless nature of OSB by:
    1. writing to appropriate tables and reading from there and calling plsql procedures from the flows
    2. using JMS queues.
    In detalis:
    1. Regarding the writing/reading from Databases (in our case it would be oracle 10g R2 - probably RAC), is there something like a Database control in WLI, which we could use in OSB? What i have seen are using xquery execute-sql function or a JCA DB adapter but both of them seem to me not very easy to use. Is there another option?
    2. Regarding the JMS, in case that i want:
a service that writes to a JMS queue what are the servicetype and transport that i should use?
a service that reads from a JMS queues what are the service type and transport that we should used?
Any information that you may share with me in the design and implementation of the above would be great.
    Thanks a lot.
