What before, BluePrints or javaee5-samples-1.0-installer.jar

Hi,
I find myself in a particular situation. I want to install the javaee5-samples-1.0-installer.jar, but I need to have installed Java BluePrints. I use NetBeans 6.5 and glassfish v2ur2 all integrated in the IDE on Windows Vista
When I go to the directory samples I find that I have not the bp-project directory.
They say you must set up Application Server environment and follow the basic steps in the Common Build Instructions for Sample Applications to configure your environment. When I get there they say the sample applications use the Java BluePrints build system that employs a set of Ant build scripts (XML files) in the samples/bp-project directory that I have not.
Following, in Procedure (Common Build Instructions for Sample Applications), step 2:
Edit the file <javaee.home>/samples/bp-project/build.properties and set the value of javaee.server.passwordfile (see below). Note: the Java EE 5 SDK installer automatically sets default values for some of these properties.
I have no any build.properties. That is the reason I have to download BluePrints, but at this point I feel completely lost because to install BluePrints I need have installed the samples.
Will you help me with this?
Thanking in advance,
Jose Alvarez de Lara

Cool. Thanks. XmlBeans has been proposed to Apache and is looking promising right
now to go into the xml.apach.org incubator (although some work still ahead here).
If this happens then you should definitely get what you are looking for. If
for some reason it does not we still plan on providing this type of access. Your
help in forming a community would be great.
We are figuring out how best to proceed on the XQuery side of things. Your emphasis
is duly noted ;)

Thank you for invitation,
I found it great that you decide to release XMLBaen as open source.
First I would like to fix address you sanded. You placed a dot at the
end of URL,
which should be removed in order to get to this page. :)
But more seriously yes I think there is a lot people who would lie to
be involved
in creation of XMLBeans (me included). As you probably have already team
which
made current version I don’t think core development will be possible
for people
from outside in the beginning.
I think we could more contribute in testing. It will be great if you
could make
system for downloading latest code (similar to nightly builds in Apache)
or access
to CVS. This I think will speed up testing for you, and on the other
hand give
access to newest code for developers which required new functionality.
It will be nice to here from you then you plan to publish support for
XQuery.
It will be also nice to here from you if you ever planed to add support
of XML
update in XQuery like in Patrick Lehti proposal http://www.lehti.de/beruf/diplomarbeit.pdf
or any other form. This could be a really cool functionality, and it
will be possible
to treat XMLBean as embedded database.
Best regards
Arek
PS
On page http://workshop.bea.com/xmlbeans/schemaandperf.jsp the link “XmlBeans
Schema Testbed” (http://workshop.bea.com/xmlbeans/XmlBeans-schemas-xstc.zip)
is
probably broken.

  • Error in creation of sample database during installation of Oracle8

I am trying to install Oracle8 for Intel Solaris8. Near the end of installation - running database configuration assitant, the creation of the sample database failed by an alert:
    ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
I also tried to run database configuration assistant in custom mode separately, "ORACLE not available" message came up.
I think ORACLE should be connected and running before creation of the sample DB, like installation of Oracle in Windows.
Anyone has the same problem or can give me a help?
The Oracle(8.1.7) CD comes with Solaris8 (07/01) package.
    Thanks.

I would guess that your kernal parameters have not been set. Check you oracle install guide for the appropriate additions to /etc/system for semiphores and shared memory segments. If you have not made these changes, the database will not come up.

  • What is Account Assignment Model & Sample Document ?

    Hi Friends
What is Account Assignment Model & Sample Document ?
    Thanks
    Neha

    Hi,
    Account Assignment Model:
Account Assignment Model is a reference for document entry that provides default values for posting business transactions. An account assignment model can contain any number of G/L account items and can be changed or supplemented at any time. In contrast to sample documents, the G/L account items for account assignment models may be incomplete.
    Use
During document entry you can change, add to, or delete the proposed data. You can also call up any number of account assignment models and switch from a model to standard item entry procedure and back again.
You can also assign equivalence numbers to account assignment models. In this case, you simply enter a total amount which is then distributed to the items within the model according to set ratios.
Account assignment models can also be used across company codes and can include company codes from non-SAP systems. If you do not enter a company code when using an account assignment model, the last company code used is proposed.
    Sample documents:
Sample documents are the data sources for an accounting document. Sample documents have a separate number range. Their advantage is that you can change or enhance them. You therefore use a sample document rather than an accounting document if you need a reference document for which you want to define the layout yourself.
When you enter and post a sample document, the system stores the document, but does not update any transaction figures. Your system administrator defines a number range for sample documents. The system assigns a number from this number range to each sample document.
    I hope it will help.
    If helpful, please assign points.

Sample analysis of process 7706 written to file /dev/stdout

There's not enough information there to tell all the details.
But it looks like Photoshop called the OS for something, and is waiting for the OS to return.
Now, the odd part is that the samples only account for 16 milliseconds out of 3000 milliseconds -- which means that the Photoshop application was completely blocked by the OS.
We have seen behavior similar to that before when the OS disk buffers decided that they wanted to flush gigabytes of data -- but Apple supposedly fixed that bug in 10.5.0.
My guess is that you are waiting on a disk or some other device driver that is really, really unhappy (disk going bad, tablet cable broken, etc.).

  • What is meant by "Video Sample Size = 24 bit"?

In the video properties for a XVID file you can see "Video Sample Size 24 bit" included with bitrate, frame size, but "file size in MB or GB" omitted.
What is this Video Sample Size? Is it the same as "bit depth, also known as color depth" that relates to the number of bits used to represent the color of a single pixel in an image?
I know how to calculate/estimate the file size of a single image from bit depth information such as 12 bit, 24 bit and frame size, but can you calculate the file size of a video from it frame size, bit depth? Question is based on Video Sample Size really being equal to bit depth.

Yesterday seems to have been a bad day for the Adobe fora. I had three very similar instances of what Tony experienced. I'd be reading/posting in the Premiere CS3 forum, and when I'd hit Post, after the screen came back, I'd be in the CS2 forum, and that's where my post would appear. Similar behavior in several other Adobe fora too.
Some of the screen displays got very wonky, and I had one of those today. When I went to open an article in one of the fora, there was one reply. I posted to that, and when the screen came back, about 8 replies displayed! All were from days before, but had not shown up, until I posted.
I might have helped Tony out in the forum that he intended to post to. Maybe Jeff, or someone can clean up a bit. I think there will be a lot of this, and I'm not sure it's working smoothly yet.

  • What 's the meaning of "sample rate =-1" when to use the CAN init.vi?

    ALL,
I saw a kind of use to CAN init.vi where The mode = "output recent" and the sample rate = -1. I check the NI  CAN help document, it seems that  the sample rate must be large than 0 when the mode = output recent. So,here, why the sample rate can be -1? What does it mean?
    Thanks!
    Lai

I found that it is different whether to use "-1" or ''0" to sample rate. In CAN init.vi, there is an input parameter filepath which is used to load the ncd file or dbc file. The ncd file can't set the sample rate of  CAN message, but dbc file can. When I use sample rate = -1 and dbc file , the period(=1/sample rate) of CAN transmission equals  the Sample time defined in dbc file and is not determined by loop time in LabVIEW programm. But when I use sample rate = 0, the period of CAN transmission equals the loop time in LabVIEW programm. So I guess the period of CAN transmission is determined by the Sample time defined in dbc file when use sample rate = -1. Is that true?

  • What about sounds that *I* sampled, or Garageband tracks?

I'd like to create custom ringtones from sounds that I sampled, like the sound of my Harley being revved, or my wife saying "Answer the phone, dummy!". And, I'd like to use Garageband to create tracks that I can use as custom ringtones.
Unless I misunderstood the announcement, I WON'T be able to use either self-sampled or Garageband tracks with the standard iTunes ringtone generator.
I acknowledge that there are copyrighted works that are sold by ITMS, and that Apple has to pay a copyright fee for each sale. And, I acknowledge that DRM-protected materials exist and that the use of DRM-protected materials as ringtones may not fall under DMCA-specified "fair use" of those materials.
However, do I have to make an RIAA-approved recording of my wife's voice or find a way to pay a fee for Garageband-generated tracks just to be able to use them as ringtones?
Come on, Apple. Restricting self-generated content from being used as ringtones in favor of your "approved" media files is counterintuitive, coercive, and just plain silly.

This definitely has me stumped as I'm unsure as to why your guitar can be heard, but with none of the channel strips plugins applied to the sound.
On the record enabled channel strip that contains your guitar input, is the "I" button located near the "R" active? Also, if you record your guitar, can you hear the FX applied to it when you play back the recorded track?

  • Dreamweaver: What happened to jQuery mobile samples in starter templates?

I'm using the Missing Manual tutorial to learn Dreamweaver and I just got to the jQuery mobile section. The tutorial for this requires that I use the mobile starters sample folder which includes jQuery mobile templates. But apparently this folder is not included in the newest DW update which I installed yesterday. Does anyone know if these templates are still accessible within, or possibly outside of Dreamweaver?
    Thanks!

By the way, both of the Adobe Tutorials that tell me how to use DW with jQuery mobile require that I use the mobile starters template which the "outdated" textbook was asking me to create. I'll link to them below:
Create advanced design templates for jQuery Mobile | Adobe Dreamweaver CC tutorials
Use customizable starter designs for jQuery Mobile | Adobe Dreamweaver CC tutorials
I guess that Adobe tutorials tend to be outdated by at least 1 and perhaps as many as 3 versions.
