What can I do to fix a problem with my iPod touch opening apps, start to load and boot me back ur to home screen?
It is driving me insane!! I have deleted apps, tried restoring it(which helps for a little bit) but to be in the middle of doing something and have to start all over...gggrrrrr! Anyone have any solutions??
Is this only certain apps in particular or any of them? If it's all of your apps, try downloading and installing a free app from the App Store.
Otherwise, try a hard reset of the device to see if that helps. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

If you restore from a previous backup, it may be necessary to restore to factory defaults as restoring from backup can sometimes restore some of the corrupted data.

When apple first introduced the podcast app for my iphone I discovered that installing it took away the option to have a playlist (smart playlist or regular) that mixed music, audiobooks and podcasts. I therefore quickly uninstalled it and was happy to have my iOS devices happily mixing music and podcasts.
With the push to itunes 11.1 and iOS 7 on my ipod Touch and ipad mini I no longer have mixed playlists. I do see (according to itunes) that the podcasts are copied to my devices but there doesn't seem any way to play them. Nor do my mixed format playlists contain them.
When combined with the change to the podcast tab in itunes that shows all available by default and doesn't seem to offer any way to Turn it OFF so I can easily see what new unlistened to podcasts exist it seems that the way I got used to using my itunes since my ipod nano first generation has been eliminated. I haven't read why so if someone could point me to their logic on how come I would want the changes they keep trying to force on me I would at least understand their motives.
If no one has a better fix I have discovered that I can declare the podcasts to be audiobooks and get them to play that way. One downside to that approach is that it doesn't clear them out of the podcast folder thanks to the change to the iCloud friendly format or whatever they were hoping for.And what is the wording of the error message?

Version 11.1.5.5 of iTunes was just released today. If you update to that, does that help with the recognition troubles?

Every time that I try to download my music from I tunes an error message comes up it says, ( err = 450) Make sure that your network connetion is active and try again. What can I do to fix this problem, I have tried everthing that I-tunes has told me but with no luck. Thanks
Try disabling your parental controls. Does that help with the 450?

I have an iPod Touch version iOS 4.2.1, 8 G capacity, and whenever iTunes tries to sync my iPod, I get an error message saying "Mobile Backup has encountered a problem and needs to close", and the sync fails. does anyone have a problem with the new page software? I am currrently running into the same problem with the old pages software re-appearing and any document that I had used with the new update, will not open. The system requires me to attempt to download a new version of page, when the newiest version has aleady been download and has been in operation.

JamesYou just have to be particular with which Pages version you are opening the document. use Right click on the document and choose the right version of Pages.

In trying to include what information all that I could I should have specified I DON'T KNOW THAT IT WAS DEFINATELY JAILBROKEN when I took it to the apple store they told me there's no way for them to tell if it was jail broken or not. I'm only going by what ppl have told me COULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO THE PHONE. With that said the only thing I know for sure is that the apple tech at the Genius Bar told me that someone took control of my root menu in February & I've had no control of my phone since. I asked him how to regain control & how he knew his exact words were "oh that is out of our scope of capabilities here at this level & you would need an apple engineer to fix it". I said ok then how do I get an apple eng then? He laughed & said you can't!!!! To which I was furious I came home & called apple requesting to speak w/the fraud dept to file a report they said we don't have a fraud dept!! So after a 45 mn phone call again I left w/no answers.

I DON'T HAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO SPEND HIRING AN ATTORNEY & Although I appreciate your suggestion I fail to how an attorney would be able to facilitate in any way since there's no suspect. I cannot prove that it's him doing it so I certainly can't pursue legal action w/no proof & no money. :'((

I was looking more for a TECHNICAL way to avoid this happening w/a new phone should I buy one or trying to get them out of my phone now! Such as installing some kind of software protection?? Someway to clear out the entire phone (other than factory reset which was done 10 x's w/no success, etc. if this person got in then there HAS TO BE A WAY OF GETTING HIM OUT, right???? -

I restored my settings my I got the new phone but I think I heard that with the iOS 6 updated that can be an issue and it is better to start from scratch rather than restore your settings.reset all settings

My FaceTime won't connect. Every time I try to call my friend it says connecting. Then unable to connect. Or lost connection. And when I go to our FaceTime history it said "FaceTime answered on another device." What can I do to fix this problem? We always used to FaceTime. And now all of the suddenly we can't.

I am using a Canon 640 printer and my MPNavigator will not remain open. It pops open then quickly closes. I've used it for several years but it just started doing this. What can I do to fix this problem?
I had a similar problem with a Canon MP800R under Mac OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks.
In my case, the MP Navigator app in the dock was linking to the wrong file.
It linked to Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app > Contents > Resources > MP Navigator.app, but it should link to the "main" app, probably under Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app.
After pulling the correct MP Navigator app file to the dock, I can start MP Navigator again by clicking on it in the dock. However, when clicking on it, a second MP Navigator icon will show up in the dock and stay there until the app is closed. By the way, the MP800R scanner also works (although officially not supported by Canon). -
i have a classic that seems to be stuck in restore mode, the screen says "do not disconnect'' and i can't restore using itunes. i have tried resetting it and still no good, what can i do to fix this problem ?

I've also just run into an issue where I couldn't restore an iPod with a corrupt file system, and the "super fix" in that linked article wasn't working for me. I've run across a potentially useful workaround.
iPod Classic went on the fritz today just after syncing. Couldn't restore via iTunes, kept getting 1439 errors, Windows wouldn't format as FAT32, claimed the "Volume is too big for FAT32". Finally tracked down EaseUS Partition Master Home Edition (Free) and formatted as FAT32 with 128k clusters. The iPod is filling back up again. Might be worth a shot here...

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
