What can I do to get my touch screen to work

My iPod touch will turn on but I can not get any further than that. I tried restarting/rebooting but it doesn't respond. Is there anything I can do?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You can try resetting the device by holding down the sleep and home key, past when you see the power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that helps.
If not you can try a complete restore with iTunes....or it's time to head to the apple store and have them look at it.

Registration has always been optional, so there is no point in trying. Those pages on the Adobe site are long gone. CS5 crashing is another matter, but without some crash logs and more detailed system information nobody can realyl know. This could be a mundane permissions issue on some files, could be a crash with the hardware acceleration stuff but just the same could be the activation system failing. Impossible to tell based on your limited information.

How to get ipod touch screen to work?

Hi I have an issue getting my Ipod screen to respond to my touch or any period. It seems to only work on the left side of the screen,which means I can't slide it to my app page or even turn it off. I honestly don't know how it happened? It was out in the sun while I was skating and it never worked since. =c PLEASE HELP I don't think I have a warranty on it. =/

If you restore from a backup, it restore yore settings to the last time you synced to iTunes. This will restore the latest password, which should now work.

I can't slide the unlock bar, type anything but if I move my finger like a hundred times up and down I can get my notifications to drag somewhat... but it won't work for every part of my touch screen. I've tried the force restart and it hasn't responded, and tried waiting over night... which worked last time. Any thoughts? I really need my phone operational so I might go to an Apple store!

Can no longer install drivers and touch screen not working anymore

I have the HP 520-1130ea all in one PC. Its a touchscreen. I have Windows 7 home premiun 64 bit operating system.
it has been working fine for the last two years and on Friday 11th april, i connected my android tablet (samsung Galaxy tab 7.0) to my pc and it could not install the drivers so my PC could not see the tablet. Last week this worked ok. I attach my tablet to my pc using a USB cable and transfer files by usb transfer. I dont use any software at all.
I have tried to reinstall the drivers for the android tablet and i get the error code that the drivers were found but they cant be installed. Access denied.
I have also tried to restore my pc to the last time everything worked ok which was just a week before the problem started, but the restore has failed on 4 occassions.
I have now deleted all updates on my PC from last week and i think I have deleted something or failed to allow something to isntall (a box popped up when i restarted the computer after the update delete which I ignored)
No my touch screen no longer works.
I plugged in an external hard drive to back up my computer and I also could not install the drivers for that too. this just happened today.
My printer is connected to my PC and that still works ok.
I have been battling with this for 4 days now and ploughed the internet for solutions and no hope in sight!
I have also tried:
1. installing optional updates. no luck there. also some of the updates failed
2. giving myself full control on the system 32 folder in windows.
I am the administrator on the PC.

Thank you very much for your thorough post and detailed steps! I see that you are not being able to install drivers, and I would be happy to assist you!
The first suggestion I will make is to boot your computer in Safe Mode. To do this, please follow this document on Windows 7 Safe Mode. No extra software will be loaded, which will make this driver issue easier to troubleshoot. In Safe Mode, try to connect your external drive.
If you still cannot connect your external drive (or any other USB device), I recommend following this resource on Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 7). This should help diagnose any potential hardware problems with the computer.
If you are not able to detect any hardware problems on your computer, please follow this document on Restore files from a backup.
Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I will diligently follow up with you!

HT4061 I can't get my touch screen to work. Have tried to reset, but nothing happens. A box appears round the date intermittently and round the 'slide' to open if I try to do as instructed. Help!

Try a full restore. If the screen is still unresponsive after the reset then its a harsware problem.

What can you do if your ipod touch screen is broke.

First off i would have hoped you said yes to the person who you bought the ipod touch from to get your 2 year insurance. This would cost around $20 - $35. I also hope you added the one year insurance too. The 2 year insurance is for your ipod if any gadgets goes wrong. The one year insurance is a totaly different insurance but would help you out with your wallet. This insurance covers your ipod if you drop it any way and crack or break the screen. If you have this insurance you will b covered for a new ipod touch for no cost at all. All you would have to do is send it in with everything it had came with, your reciept, and other numbers to prove you had purchased it. They will re-imburse you with the ammount you had paid for it. Not including the insurance money, just the ipod touch. You then can go take that money and purchase a new ipod touch. But the one thing that is a downer is that not only your 1 year insurance is worthless your 2 year insurance is worthelss. When and if you do purchase another ipod you will have to re-buy the insurance if youd like to.

What can I do to get my slice action to work. "the command "select" is not currently available"

"the command "select" is not currently available"...well it should be. I just used to two seconds ago.
I routinely can not perform most actions because some function is not available. If I open an image, and record a simple "divide slice" action, the action can not repeat it, even on the same image. What am I missing? it seems so trivial, but I can't get past it.

What can I do to get Adobe Flash Player to work?

Adobe Flash Player repeatedly crashes. I've tried installing it multiple times, both from Firefox and directly from Adobe with no success. I get the message also that Shock Player has crashed.
Any suggestions as to how to fix this, please?

Your More System Details doesn't show "Shockwave Flash" which could indicate that it is set to "Never Activate" (such plugins are invisible to websites).
This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) If you have any recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media make sure they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.
(2) Disable hardware acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"
That takes effect the next time you exit and start Firefox up again.
(B) In Flash, right-click the media and choose Settings, then the first mini-tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration. More information in this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues
(3) Disable protected mode (Windows Vista and higher)

What can I do to get my playback screen to not be black?

My Speed Grade program playback doesn't show the video. It does play the music connected to the video from Premiere but no video. I work on a windows computer.

There's a FAQ on the "Overview" page for all these forums that lists the general info you should place in a help-request like the one above. Sometimes a query can easily be guessed from the almost non-existent info you gave, but often not. All we know is you're using some version of PrPro and some version of SpeedGrade on some version of Windows. No clue which of either, what type of codec/wrapper is involved, nothing. Would be helpful probably. We don't even know how you got your footage from PrPro into Sg.

When restoring an iPhone with iTunes when there is more than one backup available, you can select the backup you want to restore the iPhone with. Restore the iPhone with iTunes again and this time select the correct iPhone backup when prompted.
