Apple just recently changed the authentication process to NOT ask for username/password, at least when installing a *free* App or updating one that was free.
In iOS 6, (at least, I don't remember if it was in iOS 5), you can set the amount of time before a password is again requested:
Settings>General>Restrictions>Require Password: Immediately. Not having used this, I don't know if it will ask for a password everytime. You might want to give it a shot.

The error comes about whilst trying to download certain apps from the app store, including CSR Racing which when i tap on install a message box pops up saying "This App Is Incompatible With This iPod touch", another time for a different app it came up with a message saying "This app requires OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics capability.

Hi, each time I launch an app, I have to sign in, to accept terms of contract, or I get a message saying this is a demo version. I am fed up with this !!! I have a legal version, and I don't want to sign in every day. Used it on OSX before, and there, no problem. Please fix this !!!

Billing Info bug. I have to verify my billing info every time I download an app.
Every time I download an app for my iPhone 4, it prompts me to verify my billing info, each time charging $1 to my credit card. It becomes annoying when I download quite a few apps each day. It starts to add up. This is an obvious bug does anyone know how to fix it or has anyone heard from apple as to the cause?
Just confirmed with apple that the $1 charges wont actually be completed. They are just to check to see if credit card is active. But even so that money becomes unavailable in my account while verification is happening. Still very annoying in itself to have to verify my billing info for every single download.

If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -

Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

The main problem is a missing document type declaration (DTD) on top.
To fix this in DW, go to Modify > Page Properties > Title/encoding Choose a DTD that fits your coding skills. If you're intent on using tables for layouts, then I recommend HTML 4.0 Transitional. Hit Apply. Repeat with other pages.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Update: An Apple rep called me today to update the status of my return. I was told that the replacements for the BLACK iPad 2's was still another 3 weeks out (at least) so they offered me a brand new WHITE 16GB iPad 2. I could have that or continue waiting. I opted to go ahead and accept the offer of a new white one. Worst case scenario if I don't like the white one I have buddy that just bought a 16GB black one that he would be willing to swap it.

Try this:
Make sure you turn off the voyager ( red light) and then hold the power button until you see the alternating red and blue flashing light that indicates it is discoverable. Then go back to the iPad settings and you should see that it has discovered the voyager. Then select (touch where it says 'voyager') and it should pair. -

You can upgrade from 10.4 straight to 10.6 with no problems. Any program that runs under 10.4 should run under10.6. See this list for compatibility with 10.6: http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/

Once you are at 10.6.8 Lion is still available from Apple. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775. to purchase it. Then within 3 days you will get an email with a code which you can use to download Lion from the App Store. The price is $19.99.
You must have at least a model 2,1 MacBook. Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.

Also Lion doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Lion.
Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications. -
