What can i do to restore performance of "Clear All History"; it runs slowly in v4.0
The comparative run times of Clear All History function between v4.0 and (I think) v3.61 is significantly degraded. It can run over a minute now, with minimal history cache.

I've bought my 1st Mac, since than I've replaced my old disk to a new one - and at the lab they created my new admin's name as admin.. I've changed it after 'root'ing - and now I can't find my photos either at iPhoto/photo booth, what can I do to restore restore them, they are very importent to me !!!
Please I'll be thankfull.I stated that I did try to do all of this when I first set up the new computer...I did do the Setup Assistant numerous times but my old computer kept freezing half way through. Even if I did it when I first got the new computer back in Septemeber, I would have had the same issue b/c my old computer has been 'broken' for a while. My old computer can't handle doing too much at once and I think the setup and then migration functions I tried were too much. That's why I was hoping I could use the migration function piecemeal. I wish I could just check off the exact files and folders I want vs. having to choose it at the 'user' level...that's too much for my old computer to have to transfer.

Hello All, yesterday afternoon I just lost all recent updates to my iCal from the last days. How can this possibly happen ??? It may have occured after I chose the Refresh function after I had problems searching my iCal for a particular event. I think my iPhone was also not properly synched in the morning but I didn't pay it much attention and opened iCal on my MacBookAir instead.
How can I prevent this from happening again?
What can I do to restore iCal with the most recent updates?Random glitch. It doesn't matter; if you didn't backup the data, then you can't recover the data.
In the future, for any 'important' data, back up that data regularly. Forward the 'important' text messages to your email. Trasnfer your photos & videos to your computer, etcetera. -
I've done an update on 7/25/11 as requested by Itunes. Since I've done the update I've lost all my music, videos and icons. I also can't connect to any PC via the USB port. What can I do to restore my 2nd Generation Ipod Touch back to factory?

And I saw that the update was compatible with iPod touch 3rd and 4th generation, iPad 1 and 2, and all the iPhones. But it wasn't compatible with iPod touch 2nd generation. As far as the TV series being in 1080p then that is upto the content provider and some older seasons are in 720p or only SD eg Stargate
It may well be that the season you want is only available in 720p -

What were you syncing them to? Have you looked in the address book on your computer to see if they are still there? Were you ever syncing them to the address book on your computer? If not, they are most likely gone. You may be able to restore from an earlier backup, but contacts are meant to be synced with an address book or cloud service.

I found a fix for it, It turned out that the file that lists all of the songs on it got corrupt. I had to use 3rd party programs but it did work out in the end

Creating that blur using my brush. When I paint the area, which highlights in red, I bring the clarity down to create more of that blur but what ends up happening is that my entire image changes too and becomes blurry. Not only that but the area I painted also becomes over exposed. What can I do am I missing something here all I want is to blur a section and not change the rest of the area I am painted by automatically becoming over exposed. Does anyone else have this problem that can help me?

The small performance gain making the switch to another board using the CPU you have, just doesn't really make much sense, especially if what you have now is completing the tasks asked of it. Save up some money, set it aside for a future build. There are plenty of new platforms in the works.
