What can I do to save information?
When I navigate there are some pages or books which I like saving them,then open them off line to read.WHAT or HOW can I do it?
It seems what you mean by Navigation is BROWSING the internet.. then depending upon your phone, you may install Opera Browser from http://www.opera.com/mobile/ and you can save pages for Offline reference.. Refer the last point in here ...and How to SAVE pages here ...

If she had previously registered her Apple ID and created an ICloud account in 'Settings'; then enabled the setting allowing for automatic iCloud back-ups to occur every time her Pad is connected to wi-fi, locked & charging...that's a good start. Even if she did nothing else but insure those regular back-ups occurred without incident,,then she should have all her Camera Roll pics, device settings, saved documents and accounts available in her Cloud. her iCloud account.
Thre's also a more detailed way of detailing the info that should be included in the back-ups. it involves reviewing all the apps & manually giving permission for certain information to be included or left out of the back-ups. If she also did this, then you should be able to restore all info according to,when the last save & back up.
Now, you can just turn on the iPad & it will give you choices for set up, just like it did when it was new. If the iCloud account was set up & used regularly, she can choose the option called something like 'Restore iPad Settings & Info through Wi-Fi, using iCloud information'......something like that. The other two options are sometging like 'Set Up As New', which can be done without connecting to iTunes, the iPad will just not have anything on it as it did before. It will be a clean & new device . The last option is to restore the old settings through iTunes, which you must connect to,a computer to do. If you choosebrestore from wi-fi/!iCloud, it will walk you through the process on-screen.

File menu, Export, Address Book Archive. (I think that's where it is in SL).
However, do you not have a full backup of your Mac? Upgrading without one is not really advisable unless your contacts are all you care about. -

Temporarily save to another folder, until you figure it out.
Just because you are the owner and are the sole administrator, does not always guarantee that you have permission. There are several folders that you can not access no matter how hard you try. As for folders in your document folder, it is more likely a basic permission setting that took on permissions of a copied file. Some folders and files are set to a child/parent default setting, meaning the child folder/file (the one you are accessing) has the identical settings of its parent and when the parent changes, so does the child.
You can alter the parent or the child folder/file.
Right click on the folder/file select properties.
Click on the security tab.
Click on each of the group names and see what permissions are set.
You can then edit a group if necessary.
If it will not allow it, you may need to use the advanced button to create a new copy of the group which should happen when you alter its settings (In other words, you don't have to physically create the copy, it does it for you when you OK the changes)
The administrator should have full access to the folder in the documents folder, if you are listed as an associate of the administrator group your name should also be listed there with full access. The System should also have full access.
All other groups should have reading access only if they exist. -

Restore the device to get it functional.
Enjoy the paper weight.

Senuti has saved the music loving butts of me and some of my friends on a couple of occasions. It's a commercial application for moving music from your iPod to your computer... but there is a 30-day demo version that is limited to,I think, 1000 songs to transfer. If you have more than that to move, I believe the app is worth the $. If you go this route, be sure to carefully follw the early steps, particularly about disabling automatic syncing of your iPod.

In rare cases, leaving it in a bag of rice can help. Most likely though you will need to take it to an apple retail store (www.apple.com/retail) and book a Genius Bar appointment. If you purchased AppleCare Plus for it, should only be $49 to replace it. However without that, it does fall outside of warranty and depending on the HD size of the phone it starts at $229 to replace it I believe.

I Loved the ios 7.3 update. My battery lasted for the whole day and I use my phone a lot. I did the ios 7.3 update yesterday and my battery life is horrible. With 2 hours into my day today I was down to 80% battery and I hardly used my phone at all. I love my iphone, but this update was a horrible mistake for Apple!
Thank God that I am not the only one who lost battery life in 7.0.3.
I haven't changed settings from 7.0.0 to now. So I am not going to change settings. With that said my brightness is always at about half or lower, depending on the ambient light. Bluetooth is always off. LTE has always been on since I bought the 5 last year. Wifi stays on, connected or not. So with all these settings as they are, there has been a huge difference in battery life from 7.0.2 to 7.0.3.
I could swear that I went from 100% to 83% charge while I slept for 7 hours. ***??? Really?
I'll test it out again tonight.
I am at work and I turned off LTE for s&g. And still saw 5% drop in 40 minutes with a 2 or 3 minute use.

My HDD died and my Time Machine won't mount, what can I do?
My late 2011 MBP lost its drive due to some mystery physical damage, so I popped it out and replaced it with a Crucial SSD. I thought it was weird that I couldn't reboot from my time machine backup on a WD My Book 3TB external, I had to get a friend to make a bootable Mountain Lion flash drive for me. That worked like a charm, but the problem is actually with the time machine disk... it's dead too.
What's happening is that when I plug it in it will mount for maybe 30 seconds... I can see one or sometimes both partitions and it will sometimes appear in Disk Utility, sometimes not. Sometimes the files appear on the drive, sometimes not. Whenever I try to do any action on the disk, whether its open a folder or repair permissions or whatever, the computer hangs up until it's disconnected. No matter what I do, the disk will dismount "improperly" after 1-2 minutes.
The drive itself is an ex-government USB 3.0 external. I have a spare identical drive around, so I took that apart and used its SATA hookup on my time machine drive, which didn't fix anything. This extra drive fully assembled also mounts and works fine. So that rules out the computer and the SATA connection, I think.
So what can I do to save my data short of mailing in to a recovery place? Are there any utilities that can pull data from an unmounted drive? Any tricks to keep it from dismounting? Running out of ideas here. Thanks for any help you guys can give.This seems to be a common occurance with Western Digital external drives. More than like the physical drive inside the enclosure is fine, maybe not, but the enclosures electronics are failing. Only way to tell is to remove the drive from the enclosure and connect it to your Mac with a SATA to USB adapter. If the drive is fine you will then be able to read from it and restore your Mac from it.
NOTE:
The late 2011 model and beyond can use the Apple Online Internet Recovery system. That is where you boot the system from the Apple server from over the internet. To use that you have to hold down the Command + Option/Alt + r keys at startup and keep them held down until you see a globe on the screen. -

Version of Reader? OS? Can you open reader by double-clicking on its icon? Can you open reader by double-clicking on a pdf file? What programs are trying to open reader? Some programs might be restricting your ability to view pdf files using the Reader plug-in due to security concerns. If this is the case you need to find out how to enable the plug-in in the case of each application. -
