Photos and videos usually take a lot of space. You can import them from the Camera Roll to a computer and delete them all from the phone or keep some if desired. If you delete and later decide you want some of them back on the phone you can sync them back via iTunes. Download and install OmniDiskSweeper. It will tell you the names of the folders and files taking the most disk space.
If you are not absolutely sure about something please ask here before deleting it.

Anyway: On my G4, with Tiger, I need to make lots of room on the HD (80 gig). In the old classic days we'd trash stuff left and right.
Is there a program, or good web link, or help to ....
1. Make sure my OS is using only things I need. Is there a way to archive and reinstall, to only use what I really need?? And not the full version?
2. Get rid of applications (in the right way) that I don't need. Do I simply trash the application folders that of things I don't use?
Bottom line: I need more HD space. Could use some general help here.

I would add that today, HDs are very inexpensive and if you are going to reinstall or install, it is much simpler to get a very large HD and not spend a lot of time uninstalling and/or attempting to install only certain items in order to save a few GBs.
Also some "excess baggage" uninstallers can mess the system up quite badly, requiring a reinstall.

Within the next couple of months i will be getting a new graphics card. The problem is what card to get :confused:
I will be spending around £150 - £200 on this new card and looking for the best for that money. I will be playing games a lot with this card and I am not a overclocker, so it will have to be fast as i can afford right out the box.
My Spec is below in Sig, except that the KT6 Delta-FISR will be replaced with a K7N2 Delta ILSR- nForce 2.
Your recommendation will be much appreciated

I had a MSi FX5900XT VTD128 for a short while that cost £134 from eBuyer, but I then exchanged it because eBuyer got the order wrong , the model ordered should have been a MSi FX5900 128mb.
I exchanged to a 9800pro 128 for £135 from Micro Direct .
The difference between the two cards were noticable especialy in the Splinter Cell games and the Colin McRae series games & also in the 3Dmark series.
The package I bought was the Sapphire Radeon 9800pro 128mb Lite Retail.
It came with no games, or the Overclocking utility, just the device drivers.
Since I don't overclock & the games in the Full Retail pack are quite old it didn't matter.
Even if you want to overclock I downloaded RadLinker.
It did however come with all the leads you could possibly need to connect to a TV.

No protection/cleaner things are needed. If left on 24/7 your iMac will do daily, weekly and monthly maintenance in the background on it own. Mac's do not need any anti malware or antivirus software for several reasons. First there are no viruses of OS X as in none, nada, zero so antivirus software is a total waste of time, system resources and possibly money. As for any other malware OS X is incredibly secure and updates daily to protect itself.
Regarding your network you need to turn on the security on it in order to not let your neighbor access it. You can find instruction in the router's manual.

What can I get to replace a DDTS-100 Decoder?

My DDTS 100 died a couple nights ago and I can not figure out what to do to replace the thing. Nobody is selling them any more and it is a very crucial part my entertainment system.
I have a Creative 7.1 speaker setup that I use with my PC and a Xbox 360 via optical (video is through the VGA cable to a shared monitor). I tried routing the 360 through my audio cards input, but I get garbled noise during anything but steady video (downloaded video trailer was tested). What I need is something compatible with the Creative speakers and won't take up a lot of room. A traditional reciever obviously isn't the answer for me and I really don't want to buy a whole new system because this one piece broke. I'd also be perfectly happy with a new DDTS box. Even Ebay doesn't have any results.
I have spent some time searching around and trying to figure out how to get the 360 working through my audio card. Could I be missing some phantom setting somewhere there?
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: I found out that my card only supports stereo input through optical so that explains the noise. Are there any cards that can do 5.1 I only ask because searching for that feature has proven to be very difficult.

You might want to look at the Sound Blaster cards that have the breakout boxes for an optical S/PDIF input.

I was interested in native waves either the gold, diamond, or platinum editions. Alas no luck finding one at the usual places...So onto the bigger question at hand..what are some sound shaping plug in's you recommend for logic express? Well I wanted native bundles but in my experiences in the past, after i buy something i find out there is something better abound. I'm looking for more of rich sound, that crisp ending sound of studio quality. I have experimented with waves in the past on a windows platform ages ago. The overall goal is to get as close to proper compression thru a plug in as I can. Its hard for me to explain in ways, I guess i'm looking to go from sounding limited thru my home hardware defiencies to a more life in the vocals and a better way to blend everything together.

I have the old data plan that is $10 a month, and is unlimited everything, but voice is not included. As far as I know this plan is no longer offered, but I still get to keep the pricing on it because I've had it for a long time.
When I got a new phone in December I only had 2 phones in the store to choose from, so I got the Pantec Crux. It is alright, but I definitely think I can find something better. Now I really want an iPhone 4. Would this be possible with my data plan? Or even another "better quality" phone?
