What sleeve / case did you get for your X120e?

I'm thinking of getting the Lenovo one made for X100e/X120e. But its design is a lil' ... dull.
Some sleeve makers told me to look into products made for the 11" MacBook Air. Others said no way you're out of luck.

I am using a Briggs & Reilly Verb Speedy Mini Brief Model # VB401-4 case with my ThinkPad X120e. Mine is the black model with orange accents. This case is actually designed for a slightly larger notebook, however it is well-padded and holds my X120e without causing it slide around inside the case. It also holds the 90W travel adapter and a series USB adapters and cables, SD cards, pens, business cards and other things one might normally keep in a laptop case. It may be a bit larger than what you are looking for, though.

What time are you getting to your Apple store to get your Reservation?

As many of you have done, I RESERVED my iPhone 4 at my nearest Apple store, which is a good hour and a half drive from here. I have never stood in line before for an iPhone release, since I usually just wait a few days after the hype to pick one up. Well this year I HAD to have it on release ;)I figured as its a reservation I probably don't have to be there at opening, but since I took the day off work and can't wait to get it, I plan on being there at opening just to be certain. My question to all of you is what time do you plan on getting in line to pick up your reservation? I plan to be by the store by 5am.

Reservations still are first come first serve. Meaning you can reserve your phone out of the quantity that the store will receive to dispurse to those that reserved, but that quantity can still be sold out to those that reserve that are there before you.
Store gets 50 phones from apple. 100 people in line reserved them. 50 ppl get the phones, the other 50 dont.
I may be wrong on this, but dont think I am. Id be really careful and do your research well.
I hope your wrong but I read in another thread where the store will receive as much as are reserved for that store plus some extra for those that didnt reserve/pre-order. I might call and check but that was my understanding. There is a little note at the bottom of the email that says "pre-authorization does not guarentee Iphone availability......", sounds a little open ended to me.

What headphones are you using for your play

Im just curious to find what headphones people are using for there mp3 players, i am using some JVC gummy's there not expenci've at about ?6.99 and they come in about 5 colours which is nice if you have a player like a zen micro, n200 etc...... Case program, what case are you getting?

Iv ordered the Belkin Shield Micra. Why i want that case, because iv also ordered a gelaskin to go on the back of the iphone and i wanted a clear case so i can see the gelaskin. I did want the speck fitted but would like another colour other than black.
Anyone else ordered a case via the case program app?

I read reviews and none of the cases seemed to be that great that apple is offering. I hear good things about the otterbox defender, but from what i understand it makes the phone very bulky. The otterbox commuter is available next week, does anyone have any experience with this, in the 3g(s) version?

How to set the Email(i) address that you get with your iPhone 3G in Japan?

This isn't covered in the U.S. manual probably because the feature is slightly different in Japan.
Basically the issue is this - cell phones in Japan have their own "cell phone email address". I believe that's not the case in the U.S.
So when I got my iPhone 3G in Japan today from Softbank, the cell phone provider, I also got a new email address [email protected] The "i" stands for iPhone.
The question is what to do with it? Unlike other cell phone providers, this is not set up on the cell phone itself when you get it.

I figured it out.
With the iPhone you can set up multiple regular Internet email accounts directly in the Mail app, using either IMAP or POP3 and even have your existing accounts synched from your computer.
It turns out that the [email protected] email account you get with your iPhone is just another "Other" account that you set up in the mail settings. When you add your Softbank address and password it automatically sets up the server to be IMAP for checking mail and the correct SMTP server and it just appears as one more push account in your accounts list.
I'm not sure it is really useful for anything or not, but since a lot of people want to know "what is your cell phone address" I guess it is best to set it and have one rather than explain why you don't really need a separate cell phone address for your iPhone.
It's sort of interesting. And it is actually an improvement over traditional Japanese cell phone email I think. And you can see nice HTML mail to boot.
Anyway, I hope this helps anybody else who doesn't know what to do with their extra Softbank address that comes with their iPhone 3G.

I recently purchased the 40GB touch and I love it. I was a little upset that there aren't any cases out there which let you maintain fuctioinality or even see the display but I figured I'd give the supplied case a go.
I quickly learned the value of the Lock switch after my carefully chosen selections were wiped out by the random button. Annoying but not deal breaking. 2 days into owning it and having filled the hard dri've, I'm wearing it on my belt. When I go to stand up, it falls off due to the poorly designed belt clip!! Now my $300 new toy is scratched and dented all along the top of the player :angry:
SO, I'm posting to ask what cases are you using to protect/transport your 40GB Touch? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A: ASP or ASP.net and MSSql. Since Microsoft built these languages, you would get the best support from MS Expression.
If you're asking for software that helps you write code, you'll need to be more specific about which code you want to write and for what purpose.

Quod Core Mac Pros - What performance are you getting?

I'm trying to work out whether the performance I'm getting out of my new Mac Pro is correct. Yesterday, the machine ran out of memory running sixteen sample based virtual instruments, two audio tracks and Izotope Ozone on the master bus. This seems pretty pathetic performance to me. I should be getting more out of the machine than this, surely?

16 sample based instruments? Like what?
Are you using Logic 9?
If you read the boards.. L-9 seems to hitting the memory wall, not necessarily the computer.

You can get a nice case from Switcheasy.com, they do not have any iPhone 4 cases out yet though. You can't really have amazing protection without covering up the iPhone and adding extra bulk so your going to either have to sacrifice protection or style. I am not going to use anything on my iPhone 4 because it is just so **** sexy lol. The glass is super strong and durable so it should fare well against any thing i can throw at it. Once it is released there will most likely be some drop/scratch tests done on it so you can get a good idea of what it can handle without a case.

I have the iphone 4 incase slip case. I was against cases, but since I dock my iphone to charge it, this worked really well. It's also very descrete looking.
I've also heard otterbox makes some really nice high end cases. They are pricey and bulky but do the job.
There is also the 12south book book case that acts as a car holder and case and looks like a leather book. This looked appealing since I do read with my iphone a lot but it was big and seemed more for a purse or counter then my pocket. I could see getting it for an ipod touch.

Do you get charged for renting an iTunes movie if you don't get to watch it before it expires? If so, that doesn't really seem fair since it is removed after the 30 days are up? ...so, in other words are you charged when you rent and download it, or when you watch it?

You are charged when you rent it - whether you actually then watch it doesn't affect that, and you won't be refunded if you don't.

What memory are you running in your KT6 Delta?

I am looking at upgrading my memory. I am going for 1GB of pc3200 with decent latency. Please post your memory configuration as i want to know what works with the KT6 Delta before making a purchase

Don't understand your question "can I use dual channel memory even though the board doesn't support it." Makes no sense. Since the board doesn't support it the answer is surely no.
BUT, if you mean "can I use 2 sticks which I'd normally buy for dual channel memory" then the answer is definitely yes. There's nothing special about dual channel memory kits - they are just matched pairs, that's all. The Delta series has 3 DIMM slots so go ahead and buy 2 sticks.

From what i know, not.
The Prologic comes from your decoder on the other side of the SPDIF. Mine has 2 different settings for prologic and DD and does not switch automatically.
As for MP3, it only works with the good winamp plugin.
Do a very simple verification: Take winamp, use waveout plugin, play an mp3 and look at the sndstorm panel.
You'l see that on the equalizer only the front speakers are moving (plus the sub and center if you have checked the "create center" and "create LFE" in the speaker setup). The fact that they react to the created channels but not on the rear proves that your sound DOES *NOT* come from the APU, but from your receiver.

Im runing a KT3Ultra-ARU also .. and I just picked up an AMD XP 2000+ at a Comp show .. and Im haveing a real hard time getting it to run on my mobo ..
I'm haveing trubble at boot , if I get past that I loose my video ...and if I make it past that I get windows to run for only about 20 seconds ..
can anyone offer any advise ..?
