Be aware that when CS6 ships sometime this spring (no official announcement yet, but all hints from Adobe point to a second quarter ship date) you will be completely out of the upgrade loop and will have to buy a full priced license for CS6 or move to Creative Cloud. There are some pretty good deals out there on CS5.5 upgrades.
Here’s the CS2 to CS5.5 Design Premium package: http://amzn.to/kZOsu7

My older macbook pro now says itunes not supported "on this type of Mac". Only change has been addition of Apple TV. The Apple TV remote is also controlling the Macbook. Is this the problem? How to fix?
Did you recently update OS X? The icon indicates you have a version of iTunes that is not compatible with the version of OS X you now have installed. The current version is Apple iTunes 11.0.2, and it's compatible with 10.6.8.

All my purchases in iTunes has been made by Apple ID Balance (redeem from gifcards). My account has $ 27,45 but I cannot pay any new app or even update my apps because is asked to check my credit card. I´ve have never used it to purchase my app. How can I pay any new app with my Redeem as usual? Can you help me ?
It is a Remote Desktop Client Update 3.7.1
Thank you for answering. I apologize it has taken me so long to get back in here.
I just realized that I wrote that I installed from app store originally, but I must correct that statement. I never paid for the app so it must have come preinstalled on my 2011 iMac. I was confused since the update is through the store so I assumed I downloaded it. Sorry for any miscommunication.
So to be clear, even though I have never remotely administered / accessed my computer and I no longer have ARD on my computer, it is normal to have the client update appear in my App Store. Is that correct?
I appreciate your assistance. -
Someone else has been given my old Apple ID. now I can't use items purchased with that account. How do I get it back or change items purchased by me to my new account?
When I requested a new password the e-mail was sent to the old address then the new owner of that address entered their info and I no longer have access to it.

So how do I get notified of updates in this forum? As I said: I don't understand the thing you call LIVE BOOKMARKS I have never used them, and most forums I have used notify VIA E-mail not giving out my E-mail address, or other private information when a reply has been made to the thread in question, so how do I get notified of updates in this forum? I have seen no normal options for setting my viewing preferences used for this forum. Thank You.
Thanks for your reply via email/msg. He wrote:

I read that the CPU is easy to swap out but am sure something goes wrong at a certain point - even if solderedon they make material to absorb the solder, making your work area VERY clean.
My Question now is this, get an 8 core, then replace with 2 3.7 QUAD CHIPS, what would happen?
I also noticed that the 8 core Mac Pro is 3.0 when in fact they do have a 3.4 8 core chip, so 2 =16? Or if correct, wouldn't you be able to replace a QUAD CHIP WITH THAT? ITunes video reloads itself when no selection changes have been made.
Various video content reloads itself on my devices (iPad Air 2, iPad 2, iPhone 5, and iPhone 4) even though no selection changes have been made (no additional video selected, or deleted) between syncs. This issue turns a sync operation that should take less than a minute into 30 minutes or more! Since this issue has manifested itself across multiple devices, the common factor being my MacBook Pro must be the bad link.
Updates of OS and iTunes have not been enough to repair whatever is wrong.... I hope someone has a simple correction. Apple Support at local store, on phone, and Apple Engineering have not been able to help.
I believe I might need to somehow remove iTunes at a minimum (maybe OS too) from my MacBook Pro and rebuild it with best hopes of this issue finally correcting itself. Does anyone know how to go about a clean removal installation of iTunes and/or OS? Any other suggestions?
Thank you!

How do I find out what phone has been buying itunes
How do I find out what phone has been buying itunes
I think you're asking which iPhone (one of many using the same Apple ID) has made which specific purchases from the iTunes Store.
The answer is you cannot do that.
Presumably one Apple ID serves one person. All purchases made by that Apple ID are agglomerated (combined) into one purchase record. -
How to stop Facebook from e-mailing me that a FB post has been made
I don't want e-mails from FB saying that a post has been made. I will go to FB directly to keep current. Do I change settings on Mozilla and if so, how? Or, do I make some kind of change in FB? If so, how?
Change your settings on Facebook. Thunderbird receives email sent to you. It cannot control what is sent.

Idoc error message "This change has been superseded by another"
Hi,
I am trying to process multiple idocs together which will create/update info records using the program RBDAPP01. But it is processing correctly only single record and for all other records its giving the error message "This change has been superseded by another"
The function module used for processing is IDOC_INPUT_INFREC and when I checked this error is coming from it. Infact it is comparing the output of FM IDOC_SERIALIZATION_CHECK and populating the error message.
If we process the same record in single, it is processing correctly and not giving such kind of message.
I am not sure what is happening here. Please help.I was trying to create multiple PIR for same material using multiple idocs. And that is the reason it is giving the error when trying to process the idocs together. When I tried changing the same into one record ie different PIR for same article in one idoc, its processing correctly.

ReportServer intengration error - An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'ADS'
For a moment I thought I had the perfect SharePoint 2010 installation going until I went and created an Access Database site added some data then went to reports. I am getting the following error.
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'ADS' that is either not registered for this report server or is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services. (rsDataExtensionNotFound)
Other than that, life is good. I have pretty much uninstalled and stuff repeatedly. I'm about to do another uninstall, reinstall because Monitorying isn't showing any errors. Which it should be, but that's another post; should the issue return.
But if anybody has any ideas about the ADS thing I would sure like to hear it.
Thanks!
Oh, the system is the following:
Server 2008 R2 Standard
SQL Server 2008 R2
SharePoint 2010 Release with 2010 October CU updates. I ran the CUs just before running SharePoint Configuration.
At the moment it is all house on the same machine; but if it goes to production then it will be turned in to a two-tier system.OK - seems like we just have to read the manual!
You'll have to install the Reporting Services Add-in for Connected Mode:
A. Modify the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\rsreportserver.config file on the Reporting Services server.
Under the <Data> node, under the <Extension> node, add the ADS data extension. For example:
<Extension Name="ADS" Type="Microsoft.Office.Access.Reports.DataProcessing.AdsConnection, Microsoft.Office.Access.Server.DataServer, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=Neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c"/> -->
B. Modify the rssrvpolicy file on RS server.
Add the following XML code in the file under the <NamedPermissionSets> node:
<PermissionSet class="NamedPermissionSet" version="1" Name="ReportExpressionsDefaultPermissionSet">
<IPermission class="SecurityPermission" version="1" Flags="Execution" />
<IPermission class="Microsoft.Office.Access.Server.Security.AccessServicesPermission, Microsoft.Office.Access.Server.Security, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c" version="1.0" Flags="CalculationCallback" />
</PermissionSet>
In the <CodeGroup>node, find the following line and change PermissionSetName from “Execution” to “ReportExpressionsDefaultPermissionSet”.
For further instructions please see Technet Article: "Using Access Services with SQL Reporting Services: Installing SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services Add-In (SharePoint
Server 2010)".
Kind regards
Thanks for the reply, but for the clarification I found my config files in a different location other than stated in A - C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.3\Reporting Services\ReportServer
In Step B, the following is unclear to me - In the <CodeGroup>node, find the following line and change PermissionSetName from “Execution” to “ReportExpressionsDefaultPermissionSet”. There are
MANY Code Group nodes. And in addition to that there are two with PermissionSetName="Execution"; Which one?
While awaiting your reply I'll go look at the docs and see if they are clearer.
Thanks! -
Best way to determine what objects has been selected in a Collection?
Hi all
I´m currently developing an application where a user can create a PDF based on the choices made from multiple collections.
Each collection contatins 10-50 items, and there are about 8 different collections with objects.
Checkboxes are used to select items from these collections.
I´m wondering how I would best determine what choices have been made, and if would be good to remove all objects from
a collection that has NOT been chosen?
Currently, it looks like this (exemple for one collection, but same solution is used for all collections)
private Collection<Texture> textureList = new ArrayList<Texture>();
private ArrayList<Texture> textureResult = new ArrayList<Texture>();
for (Texture t : textureList) {
if (t.isSelected()) {
textureResult.add(t);
}After this iteration, textureResult is used to create the PDF.
This PDF contains lists with dynamic frames, so I need to now how many
items was selected before creating the PDF.
Wondering if this is the best/most efficient way to do this though?
Maybe it doesn´t matter all that much with lists this small, but I´m still curios :-)
I guess you could do something like this aswell
while (textureList.iterator().hasNext()) {
Texture t = (Texture) textureList.iterator().next();
if (!t.isSelected()) {
textureList.iterator().remove();
}Any suggetions?Dallastower wrote:

Or do you know how to do that and you're asking how to associate those boxes with items in your Collections? Or do you know how to do that and you're asking how to keep track of those selected items in the Collection?
I don't do GUIs, so I can't help with the first two, but for the third, you could create a new collection holding just the selected ones, or remove the unselected ones from the original Collection.
and if would be good to remove all objects from
a collection that has NOT been chosen?That's entirely up to you. If you create the original Collection when the user makes his selection, and only need it to survive one round of selection, that may be fine. But if you need to get back to the original collection later, and it's expensive to create, then you might want to just create a second collection and add items from the original to it if they're selected. -
Itunes 11.3, but this has happened for quite a while, several versions at least. Iphone 5, Ipad 2, this happens with both devices. I sync locally to my macbook pro (late 2011 version, running 10.9.4), using a wired connection.
I will have the 2 devices hooked up via the factory supplied cords. Doesn't actually matter if it's both or just one device. If I have, for instance, the iphone selected via the sidebar, and am displaying the Summary tab, normally you have a sync button to the lower right. Quite often, this will randomly change to two buttons, - Apply, Don't apply, as if I have made settings changes or something, although I haven't. No changes have been made. If I select a different device in the sidebar of itunes, a pop up will open asking me if I want to apply the changes? I say no, all is good. BUT - it's annoying!
Is there any way to make this stop?No-one? Am I the only one? I doubt it...

How do I know what item has been selected in a select list?
I built a select list where the user selects one item from the list and then searches using the searchfield. I need to know what item has been selected in the select list so that I can do branching and branch the user to a particular page. Can someone tell me how I can accomplish this?
So if I want to search for Tea in the drinks category I would need to click on Drink in the select list and then type "Tea" and select search. After that I get redirected to a table called "Drinks" and there the search results will be displayed. please help!I tried to mach expressions... I made a simple list(with redirection):
STATIC:Yes;Y,No;N and it displays fine. I then try to do branching where exp1=exp2 Where I tried to have the label "X" for E1 and "Y" for E2 and nothing happened. I tried to use the name of the list Xlist and it failed too. I tried Request=exp1 and didnt work either. I set the source for the list as static. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. When i tried !=exp nothing happened either... perhaps the values I am using are wrong? Pleas help me out.
