What color ipod 5 is the best looking?

I like how the yellow one is a little gold but is it just like that in the pictures. I've seen the blue in person and it is really nice, but I'm looking for something new and different but I don't want an eye sore every time I look at it.
P.s. the red is slick looking too.

That's a personal question. I prefer the black one because i like the black screen, others swear by white.
There is no correct answer, 'best' is a personal thing.

That is one loaded question. As with beauty, the best looking case is in the eye of the beholder, and the same for the best case. If there were only a few cases available from one or two case manufacturers only, maybe an easier question to answer, but there are a number of different types and styles of cases available from a significant numbed of case manufacturers.

I'm not sure what settings you are referring to. If you mean the import CD settings, there would be no point in changing them after importing the CD, would there?
As for the best setting for audio quality, it's down to your preference. Many people will not hear the difference bewteen one setting and another. The best thing to do is import the same song several times using different import setttings (and change the song title so you know which one is which) and then listen to them on your iPod. Then decide.
Unless you have specific reasons for using the WAV setting, don't use it. It will use up a lot of space on your iPod and you cannot tag WAV files in the same way as the other formats.

Just found this and it's the best looking and most durable case I've seen. Brushed chrome on the front, black on the back or vice versa. Brushed chrome comes in colors too. Still might place a PDA protective layer over the the display though.

True it is a bit pricey, but dang it looks hot. I don't like all the candy color cases. I want my Nano to look like an Apple product and this certainly does.

In that all versions of iTunes support ripping or converting to .m4a (both AAC and Apple Lossless) and in that the latest version is likely to included bug fixes and optimisations, I would say the answer is always going to be the latest version.
An area where there maybe a need to consider using an older version is that older versions of Windows are no longer supported by the latest versions of iTunes. For example Windows 2000 is no longer supported but Windows XP and later still are.

I could never edit on a 13" screen. I'm currently using a 17" MBP i7 Early 2011 as a fast replacement to my aged 20" Intel iMac.
Both systems are not that far apart on stats and you will find that processing HD video will rely highly on the read/write to your storage. Myself, I'd be eye balling the 2011 for the Thunderbolt port so HD Video export/compression doesn't take forever! Currently processing a finished HD project for DVD uses at most 20% of my total CPU capacity. The FW800 drive is the big bottleneck! (I know I need at least a RAID to see a real speed boost).
How good your eyes are and your usage style would dictate if the difference in screen size make a difference to you.

IDVD quality update... how to get the best looking photo images on your TV

To get the best quality photo slideshow (that looks the best on my TV)
1) create the slideshow with music in "Photo to Movie" program
2) send it to IDVD from "Photo to Movie"
3) create the menu in iDVD
4) make a disc image from iDVD (file - save as disk image) save on the desktop
5) burn DVD at x2 in disc utilities on a Verbatim DVD-R disc
???? Any other suggestions to get a better quality product !!

in search of the best looking photoslide show DVD to view on a TV..... a couple more questions
if I understand some of the recent posts to get a clear picture:

I need to import all of the photos into photoshop CS (or a similar product) and resize them to 1280 x 960 (4:3)ratio then open iDVD and import them.
If I am doing Ken Burn effects then resize them to 2560 x 1920 and use "Photo to Movie" to create the slideshow then import into iDVD (to get a cool menu)
can you just bring the images in from iphoto (in the same format that they were imported from the camera)?
I am using a Nikon D70 6.0 megapixel

That is a very difficult one to answer because everyone has different needs. I would recommend APC branded UPS's, they have a tool that can help you select which model is best for you.

I have Windows, so Handbreak doesn't work.

Which Wifi Color Laser Printer is the best?

OK my wife and I are recent converts to Apple and we both have Macbook Pro's, running the latest Lion. I have a wireless network setup with an Airport Extreme and a Time Capsule. My Old Ricoh Color Laser is giving me fits trying to connect it to my network so I am looking for advice on what has the best Apple Compatability. I have a Brother black and white multi function but I read reviews stating that a brother color laser would not print properly in "color" on a Mac. This whole thing is confusing. I had my Ricoh up and Running with Snow Leopard but not with LION! This is so confusing. Please help me make my house a "Windows Free Zone"

I second Rudy's opinion on the Brother 5250DN, as far as a b&w laser printer goes! I got one of these a couple of weeks ago and the setup was super-easy. It has a great feature-set with 1200 dpi and auto-duplexing. The Brother installation software worked wonderfully to set up both Macs and PC almost automatically (I did change it to a static IP address after installation). The built-in ethernet print server's embedded web server administration IS accessible from both PCs and Macs (unlike what I have seen with my HP Directjet web server which I have only been able to access from a PC even with the latest firmware: the only thing that comes up if I try to access the HP Directjet web server administration from Macs is "Hewlett Packard. Macintosh OS is not supported to run this application.")
The Brother's two manuals are well-written and easy to understand also, more so than the manual for the HP 2605DN, which I downloaded (I was thinking about the HP 2605DN for a color-printer).
I am very happy with the Brother and its Mac support!

Within my main timeline, I have a bunch of buttons that scale up on mouseOver and scale down on MouseOut. With your help, I have gotten these all set up exactly how I need them to be.... so thanks for that.
My next question is a bit trickier, I think I have a few options to achieve it, but curious what you think is the best way to do such a thing:

Right now, I am thinking that when you click a bubble, within its movieclip I will build the transition – so if you click, it will go to the btnHit label and there the button will scale up and set the stage for me to load in the case study work. My thinking is at the end of the scale up to full screen, I could put an enterFrame function, saying once you hit this frame, gotoAndPlay the case study frame that I will place on the main timeline.
Obviously, my problem right now, is that if you mouse off the buttons hit state while this is occurring, everything goes away – so thinking on hit I should remove the hit state child.
The other option that may make more sense, is to addChild the hit state, so when you click it, that just loads on top of the button then runs, is this the simpler way?
Anyway, just would be good to get "some" direction, and take it from there. Thanks!
