could u plz explain what column diffrentiate v$view to the gv$views? and how?

In Oracle9i Real Application Clusters, querying a GV$ view retrieves the V$ view information from all qualified instances. In addition to the V$ information, each GV$ view contains an extra column named INST_ID of datatype NUMBER. The INST_ID column displays the instance number from which the associated V$ view information was obtained. The INST_ID column can be used as a filter to retrieve V$ information from a subset of available instances.

Thanks for the help. The restore seems to have solved the problem. I had a bit of a panic attack when things started going haywire and the Apple 'Support' told me to call back during business hours!

When I opened my email, there is a "sponsored" add that takes you to a website. I don't know how or why this is in my browser, but I don't like it and want it removed. I can change my browser to a different one.

Publishing iCal With MONTH view being the default view

I'm using iWeb to publish a page, then editing the HTML code to include a non-scrolling frame that is my iCal calendar on it. It works ok EXCEPT that it defaults to a Week View on the web page, and that looks lame because for our purposes it should really default to a MONTH view.
Does anyone know how to make this happen????
I'm stumped!!!
Unfortunately, I reached my bandwidth limit for this period (first time it's ever happened!) so I can't "show" you the page I'm talking about -- it's shut down until 3/16/07. Sure hope an iCal expert knows how to do this... ???

I published a calendar to use as an example... The
default URL that iCal gives is here...

And just as you mentioned, this resolves to a weekly
view by default at this URL...
http://ical.mac.com/WebObjects/iCal.woa/wa/default?u=jwtseng&n=Home.ics
But if you click on the "Month" tab to switch views,
the URL becomes this...
http://ical.mac.com/WebObjects/iCal.woa/wa/default?d=1&u=jwtseng&v=1&y=2007&m=2& n=Home.ics
So that's the secret, then. To get your calendar to
display with the month-view by default, just use this
fully-resolved URL as the src URL in your iframe
function instead of the short URL. That should work
perfectly for you.

Smooth scrolling articles viewed on the Content Viewer going out of shape

When a smooth scrolling article is shared and viewed on the Content Viewer the last section of the article is often doubled in size. It looks peculiar and it becomes impossible to read. Are you aware of the situation? Is there a solution to this?

Hi Neil! Thank you very much for replying so quickly. I am not sure what the acronym ACV means. The display of the smooth scrolling articles on the iPad is perfect. It goes weird only in the Content Viewer. I checked the smooth scrolling articles made accross all the brands own by Rogers and I certify that the problem happens with all the smooth scrolling articles.

A complication that I need to resolve is the fact that I am using Vmware
Fusion to be able to use Windows on my Mac. Now it seems that Time
Machine is not backing up my files
on that virtual Windows without additional configuration and my question
is whether you can advise me here or whether this is only a matter for
the Fusion virtual machine.

If you want to use Time Capsule you can.. you simply bridge it and plug it into the existing router.. wireless can be either turned off or used to reinforce the existing wireless.. eg use 5ghz in the TC which is much faster than your 2.4ghz.
You can also use a NAS.. many brands available but the top brands are synology, qnap and netgear readynas series. These will all do Time Machine backups although how well always depends on Apple sticking to a standard. There are cheaper ones.. I bought a single disk zyxel which was rebadged and sold through my local supermarket. It actually works very well for TM at least on Snow Leopard. Major changes were made in Lion and again ML so do not instantly think it will work on later versions. I haven't tried it yet with those versions.
Any external drive can be plugged into the mac. Use the one with the fastest connection or cheapest price according to your budget. USB2 drives are cheap and plentiful. But no where near as fast as USB3 or FW800. So just pick whichever suits the ports on your Mac. Interesting Apple finally moved to USB3 on their latest computers.
TM should exclude the VM partition file.. it is useless backing it up from Mac OS side.. and will slow TM as it needs to backup that partition everyday for no purpose.. TM cannot see the files inside it to backup just the changes.
You need to backup windows from windows. Use MSbackup to external drive.. if you have pro or ultimate versions you can backup to network drive. But MSbackup is a dog.. at least until the latest version it cannot restore the partition without first loading windows. There are about a zillion backup software versions for windows.. look up reviews and buy one which works for you. I use a free one Macrium Reflect which does full disk backups and is easy to restore.. to do incremental backups though you have to pay for it.

Yeah, I know I can restore it, but I might as well go ahead and try. I just finished a backup for icloud and itunes to make sure, I'll go ahead and restore it and set it up as new and see how that works. The hx:scriptCollector is part of the IBM Faces Client Framework and has nothing to do with Sun JSF RI.
Lot of the hx components require specific Javascript and those hx components should be placed inside a single hx:scriptCollector which on its turn checks the nested hx components and renders the desired Javascript for it at the end of the tag. Check the HTML source for that Javascript.

The "other" is mainly corrupt files and files that did not get deleted by apps one the app was done with the file. Normally the other s less than 0.25 GB. To reduce the size of other, usually a restore to factory defaults/new iPodis required. Sometimes restoring from backup helps a little.
