What constitutes a "seat" in a team plan?

Hi there,
I am trying to figure out what constitutes a "seat" in a team plan?  Is a seat required for each individual accessing the submission data?  Or is a seat required for just the main people working and moderating the forms?  We have a number of people who would need access to the submission data - but it seems rather superfluous to get them all seats when all they are doing is exporting an Excel file of the data.
Please help me clairify :-).
Thanks, Liz

A seat is needed for each person creating forms. Users only need a free account to access the responses.

  • What does '1 seat' mean in subscription plan

    Hi all.
    I was about to subscribe 'CreatePDF' service. and I read the subscriton plan.
    '# of seats => 1'
    What does this mean?
    I can use this services in 'ONLY ONE COMPUTER'?
    or I can use this services in one 'subscribed ID'?
    please let me know.

    Great question HDYoon!  The '# of seats => 1' means that you'd be purchasing a single-user license of the CreatePDF service.  That single license would be tied to your personal Adobe ID and that the service is only to be accessed by you.    As CreatePDF is a web-based service, you can access it from virtually any computer that's connected to the internet.  Thanks, David

  • How do I add a single app seat to my team plan

    Doesn't seem to be an option under add seat for it.

    It could potentially be a glitch with the servers when you have tried adding it. Although it may seem a silly suggestion have you done a battery pull (remove battery, wait 30 seconds and reinsert) - this may clear the problem.
    A security wipe of the phone may also work but ensure you do a backup before hand. Otherwise a call to your mobile carrier to see if they can assist might be worth a try.

  • Is there an advantage of keeping both an individual and team plan?

    I'm being added onto a team plan. I can choose to cancel my individual plan or keep both. What is the real advantage of keeping both?

    If both the individual & the team plan are registered to the same Adobe ID, then you should cancel one of them as you can activate CC only two times. The only advantage is of getting the storage space of 120GB.
    It is perfectly fine to cancel the individual CC, to cancel, please refer to: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cancel-membership-subscription.html

    What are the differences between Essbase and Planning?

    Planning is an enterprise application built around the Essbase OLAP engine.
    You can create planning applications with Essbase only, but Planning uses best practises and has built-in enterprise features.

  • What happens when you cancel your phone plan?

    My contract through at&t is up in June, and I was just wondering if anybody knew what happens if I cancel my phone plan. Does my phone just work like an ipod touch, or... what? I heard a rumor that it did, but it was more speculation than fact.

    I don't know if this is true for AT&T - but on Verizon, when I went to a Palm Centro from a Samsung regular not-too-smart phone, I still could use the Samsung as an alarm clock and a stopwatch. I just have to keep it on standalone mode (off the network) except twice a year, when I turn off standalone mode briefly to get the right time from the network during the change to and from daylight savings. The phone company has never complained. I can still access my old address book on the old Samsung any time.
    When I get an iPhone, I'll keep the Centro in case anything horrible happens to the iPhone... and also to use some things on the Centro such as alarm programs and all-important games. Hopefully I can do the same as I do with the Samsung, and just connect it to the network as needed to reset the time. You'll have to look at your iPhone to see if they have something like standalone mode and hope that you can do the same. On the Centro, I think all I have to do is turn off the phone portion -- it does that spontaneously once every few months, anyway... There has to be a way to disconnect the phone from the network, since some places require you to do this to avoid interfering with their equipment (e.g., hospitals, airplanes).

  • What is the actual cost of these plans?

    What is the actual cost of these plans?
    * $59.99 a month for 450 minutes
    * $79.99 a month for 900 minutes
    * $99.99 a month for 1,350 minutes
    Although they will very, Answers welcome from anyone in the USA. So I can have and idea of the cost with taxes and fees. I am located in both LA and NYC. I currently have a NYC number with Verizion using the 450 minutes plan. The plan cost $39.99 before taxes and fees and $48.42 after taxes and fees.
    Breakdown of Monthly Access Charges:
    450 minute plan: $39.99
    Verizon Wireless' Surcharges and Other Charges & Credits: $3.31
    Taxes, Governmental Surcharges & Fees: $5.12
    Total Current Charges: *$48.42*

    My plan total is $84.99/month, then with taxes and fees it comes to $93.40 each month as the total bill. The biggest fee is the state sales tax, at just over $5 on my last bill. Then the 911 fees, fed regulatory fees, and all that are a few bucks each.
    My plan -
    450 Minute (required) $39.99
    Unlimited Data (required) $30
    1500 Text msgs (optional) $15
    Total = $84.99

  • Windows 7 - What Constitutes a Connection Under the 20 Connection Limit?

    Background
    Currently testing some enterprise software the company I work for designs, and our current scope of support allows for installations on Windows 7. We have multiple services running on the 'server' and we're communicating with clients on various IP ports,
    as well as running a webpage through IIS. At the very minimum we have two connections from a client system at any time over two different ports, this can grow depending on what's being run as part of the client.
    Environment
    The environment consists of the following:
    Windows 7 'Server' running a local instance of SQL Express, also hosting ASP.NET webpage.
    Windows 7/Vista/XP Clients connecting over IP to 2-4 different ports
    Question
    There's a host of threads and documentation on the 20 connection limit within Windows 7, but really no clear answer as to what constitutes a 'connection'. Some Microsoft documentation says TCP connections, some say SMB connections, and a half dozen form
    posts claim one or the other. I did a quick test last night with a client simulation tool which pushed two connections to the server for each client, and connected 25 clients (total of 50 connections) and was not refused subsequent connections.
    What exactly removes an available connection from the pool of 20?
    Unlimited connections from a single IP address? (each computer removes an available connection from the limit)
    Per TCP connection? (each connection to a port removes an available connection from the limit)
    Per Windows User? (each connection from a Windows user removes an available connection from the limit)
    Or is the 20 connection limit strictly applied to SMB?
    I also see the following in the EULA for Windows 7 Professional:
    Device Connections. You may allow up to 20 other devices to access software installed on the licensed computer to use only File Services, Print Services, Internet Information Services and Internet Connection Sharing and Telephony Services.
    Does this indicate the 20 connection limit only applies to IIS, ICS, File/Print Sharing?
    Greatly appreciate the time taken to answer this.
    Cheers,
    James.

    Hi James,
    The 20 connection limit applies to File and Printer sharing.

    Regarding TCP, IIS connection limit, it is hard to confirm. Since Vista SP2 the limitation have been removed from TCPIP.SYS, and has been configured through a registry key. Windows7
    should follow that same behavior. You can also consult in IIS forum.
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\]
    Value: TcpNumConnections
    Type: DWORD

  • What is forward and backward shedule in planning

    what is forward and backward shedule in planning ?
    and make to order

    Hi,
    Backward scheduling is always carried out for both delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling. If backward scheduling determines a material-availability deadline or transportation-scheduling deadline that lies in the past, the system automatically carries out forward scheduling to determine a delivery deadline that can be confirmed.
    Backward Scheduling
    The system first carries out backward scheduling from the requested delivery deadline:
    Requested delivery deadline
    ./. minus transit time
    Goods issue deadline
    Goods issue deadline
    ./. minus loading time
    Loading deadline
    Based on the loading deadline, the system determines two further dates, the transportation planning deadline and the material availability deadline.
    Loading deadline
    ./. minus transportation lead time
    Transportation scheduling deadline
    Loading deadline
    ./. minus pick/pack time
    Material availability deadline
    The earlier of these last two dates (material availability deadline and transportation scheduling deadline) determines when a schedule line becomes due for shipping.
    Forward Scheduling
    If backward scheduling determines a date in the past as the date on which a schedule line becomes due for shipping or if the material will not be available on the date calculated, the system automatically carries out forward scheduling to determine the earliest possible shipping deadline.
    For example, starting from the current date, the system calculates the loading deadline, the goods issue deadline, and then the confirmed delivery date. It does this by adding together the shipping times mentioned above
