What countries are supported by the Oracle Spatial Geocoder (10g 2)?

hi @ all,
can anybody tell me which countries are supported (especially in east-europe[turkey,georgia,...]) ?
Denmark
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Regards,
greq

Hi Luc,
our data supplier deliver us the geodata as shape-files, so we migrate them in 'Oracle Spatial geocoding' tables.
For some countries (west europe: germany, france,... ) a geocoding-Parser already exists, but not for all countries. We get now some new data from turkey, ukraina, ..., but we don't know if a parser for this countries exists.

Greq

  • What formats are supported on the DVD player?

Do the DVD players on the iMac G5 support PAL formatted DVDs?

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
Since the screen on the iMac is not a TV, so it's neither NTSC or PAL, it will play either video format. In fact, if you attach a TV for external display, you can output either video format. I have several PAL DVDs which I can play on my NTSC TV through my MacBook.
The trouble may come up with the DVD region code. Before you're allowed to play a commercial DVD movie with the Apple DVD Player, you have to set the region code for your DVD drive. This setting is stored in the DVD drive's firmware and can only be changed five times before it's set for good. So, if you start playing Region 2 DVDs, you won't be able to play Region 1 DVDs unless you change the region code. Take a look at this article:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60183
You may be able to bypass Apple's region manager by using a different DVD player like the VLC Media Player.

  • What files and directories are shipped with the Oracle Agent ?

    Hi:
    - Could someone please outline the intent of all the files
and directories that are shipped with the Oracle agent?
    - I think this was documented somewhere but I cannot
recall where I saw this previously.
    - Another question: if I wanted to add a logfile for my plug-in
    (for debugging/troubleshooting)
under which directory should this logfile be placed ?
    Thanks

  • What printers are compatible with the airport extreme?

What printers are compatible with the airport extreme?

Virtually any wireless printer will work just fine as well as a printer that connects using Ethernet. If you are looking at an All-in-One type of device....all functions like print, scan, copy, maintenance, etc will be supported.
If you are looking at USB devices, Apple does not provide a list of compatible models, so It is difficult to say with certainly what will work and what will not. In general, most USB printers will work.
But....very important....if you are looking at an All-in-One USB device, you need to keep in mind that only the print function will work when the device is connected to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme. Scan, copy, fax, maintenance, etc. will not be supported.
Bottom line...if you are looking at an All-in-One device and you need all of the functions, you need to choose a device that connects using wireless only or Ethernet, not USB.

  • What services are added to the Windows system?

After installing of Oracle Coherence, configuring the members and adding the ReplicatedCaches on the Windows XP system, what services are added to the Windows system?
    Thank you

You would have to use a java service wrapper to run the coherence as a service on windows.
    Here are some that work:

RegardsPeople dont perform commands on the database level but they do it on the tables. So you would be setting the auditing on the objects actually. Not to nick pick but the terminology should be correctly used as it may come as an confusion later on. Depending on what you need, that type of auditing can be set on the table.
Also make a habit to post your db version and o/s for sure in all the posts.

You can see which apps are open and/or recently used by double-clicking the home button to bring up the taskbar at the bottom of the screen (not all apps that appear there are active) - you can then close apps on it by pressing and holding one of them for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar. If you have an app 'open' on-screen then it won't appear on the taskbar, you will need to go back to the homescreen first, and it should then show when you next open the taskbar.
If you haven't already got a copy then you can download the iPad manual from here : http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad

Homesharing gives you the option of seeing only the content in the shared library, that is not already in your own library.
