What creates a windows error 126 when installing/running iTunes and how do you fix it?
My install and reinstall keep failing with the above message. It also states MSVCR80.dll is missing. How do I resolve this issue? thank you.

click on File right at the top corner of the screen and a menu appears from which you choose add file or folder.
I'd also suggest you change your preferences to keep your iTunes library organised, To do that choose Edit at the top of the screen, then click on preferences at the bottom of the list. There's a row of icons with words below them, you need the last one 'advanced'. Tick the box against Keep iTunes Media Folder Organised and the one against Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library - which will ensure any music or video you add to your computer by importing it into itunes will go into folders within the iTunes Folders on your computer.
I'd also suggest ticking the option further down that screen for 'warn me if itunes is not the default player for audio files' - I'm assuming you want to play your music via itunes and not windows media player so you need iTunes to be the default player.
Note though that when you have ticked the boxes iTunes will then go through your music library organising it so you will need to wait while it does that - doesn't take long. -
I am getting error 7 - windwos error 126 when installing the latest version of itunes. I tried uninstalling and resinstalling several times. Everytime it tries to start up itunes after install it gives some error about connecting a mobile device and then it gives the error. Help.

I cannot re-install or update itunes on my Windows Vista os. I get errors and a missing dll message. It worked fine until about a week ago when I tried to update, due to an update notice. Any hints? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, with no luck.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes and all related components.

After downloading the newest version, 10.6.1, whenever I open itunes I almost immediately get a "itunes has stopped working" error messsage, in which the only option is to hit the "close the program" button. Simply closing the error message closes the program as well. I am operated under windows XP with the latest updates (or so the updater tells me). It seems like its getting stuck trying to send me a new user agreement because dont you have to agree to one for every new update? It just can't seem to get past that point. I tried opening it up in safe mode but that didnt work either. Any help would be greatly appeciated.
Looks like itunes was still trying to communicate with my iphone and got confused when it couldnt find it. Found this in another post and it worked great.
Solution:
Make sure you are not connected to the internet and then open itunes. Sync your phone and then enable the internet again. Then stay connected to the internet and close your itunes and reopen it. Bam problem solved.

Couldn't create Distiller Window, Error: 126
I'm getting an error that says "Could not create Distiller window, Error: 126-The specified module could not be found"
This happens when I first start up the machine, and also when I try to print a Word document to a PDF. Acrobat will not open to do any other diagnostic work. I tried going into Control Panel>Add and Remove Programs and doing a repair on the Acrobat program, but that didn't help. This is a problem with Acrobat 9.0 Standard and Win XP Pro with SP3. Can anyone help with this?Thanks, I updated to the current version 9.3.4, but that didn't solve the issue. Finally found a seemingly unrelated Windows issue that I corrected and the problem with the Distiller window went away, so I guess that it somehow affected it as well.

Today I've got the new update of iTune, but can't update and get the error message "window error 126", when click iTune, another error message is pop up "lost MSVCR80.dll" and show the action is reinstall iTune. If I remove iTune and reinstall will all the data inside lost? What should I do???

Trying to install iTunes 10.7, first attempt; downloaded and ran with everything closed, seccond atttempt; just click on run, third attempt; ran upgrade with iTunes open. All of the results were the same.

ITunes for Windows: Error -9812 when accessing the iTunes Store
So here is the situation. When I try to access our iTunes U site from the public link it works great, when I go thru the link that has me authenticicate it works on macs but on PC's I get the error message "iTunes for Windows: Error -9812 when accessing the iTunes Store" it's happening all thru our campus with PC users. Any ideas?????
We're having similar connection issues, and the error log on our web server says something about a certificate error. I noted that last year on this date there were messages related to certificates. Is it possible they are updated every Dec 2, and we should count on some down time?

I have a canon MG3200 printer. I have had this thing a whole TWO DAYS! i had issue after issue setting it up and then finally getting it to print the other day when I got it home. A simple 5 minute print job on any of the other printers I used to have, and it took almost 35 minutes to produce an almost decent quality for some important paperwork that I had to have in the following morning. Aside from that- (I just took that to mean it was the "learning" curve) I now tried to print a simple, one page document. Postage for a package to go out tomorrow morning via USPS. Lo and behold, it had a paper jam immediately. A bad one. Had to spend more than an hour searching around for ways to even get the covers off in order to pull the paper free. Got it cleared out, now the P-2-0, or 5100 error message is just blinking away. I've taking it back apart in the back 3 times now, taken the ink cartridges out and looked for paper jammed, not found anything, and now the blinking error won't go away. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to clear that error message??? I am about ready to return this printer to walmart, and get a different one. If it wn't work, then it does me no good. With the machine turned off and the power cord unplugged, open the machine and inspect the inside do you see any stray pieces of paper along the paper's usually route?
There is a way to reset the machine to clear out the error. I would need to know the exact model of your Canon. -

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
