What data is lost on aac lossy compression converting?

How much data do you lose when converting an AAC file to an AAC, or ALAC in itunes? I understand that the files are in AAC 256 kbps from iTunes store. I want to convert the songs to a higher bit rate (320 kbps) or lossless format. looking at the files I dont see the difference in them once converted. Here is the same song converted into the different formats. I dont see any important disadvantages of converting them. Any help will be appreciated.

Declare a module on chain-request in the PAI like module fname on chain-request
Module definition should contain:
modify itab INDEX tc-current_line transporting (itab-fields in the table control).
THIS SAVES THE DATA YOU FILLED IN THE TABLE CONTROL AND ALSO IN THE ITAB.

One issue seems to be with Foto Library app itself. When running an auto-correct there it looks like EXIF will be stripped more or less completely.
Second issue is in iPhoto app on iOS when working on RAW. When exporting to the roll the EXIF is modified in a way. It was keeping most of the EXIF in case of Canon 5D MKII that I tested today, but the EXIF data is definately changed, e.g. lens type is different because maybe some fields are ignored there. Also the images are silently scaled down by 50% which is kind of annoying.
The initial problem was observed with a Pentax K7 and I will need to reproduce the issue in this config I assume. Maybe tomorrow I can do this.

iPhone do not store anything on the sim.
Photos should be saved on computer like any other digital camera.
You can restore the backup for your dad as well as for yourself while swapping phones.

Not working in collection: "is not" & "Digital Negative/Lossy compressed"

Hello guys,
I have a smart collection in LR4. The collection contains 200 pictures. I want to search inside the collection for all files which are NOT Lossy compressed (like raw, jpeg,dng lossless compressed etc). If I put as a rule the "is not" "Digital Negative/Lossy compressed" I will get all the files in the catalog. If I put as a rule the "is" "Digital Negative/Lossless" the result will be DNG/Lossless. The 1st rule seems not to be working. The same is for Fast load data, which seems for some files to be working and for some not. Anyone can explain it, or it is a bug?

Based on my tests, only users allowed to use specific applications are able to see those application on the Web Access page.
In my case, I published three remote application, and I only allowed Administrator to access one of them as below:
After that, I logged on as administrator to RD Web Access, only one application was showing:
I suggest you double check the user assignment on the application, make sure no other group is configured, then log off the user and log on to access RD Web Access again.

Custom field data is lost or not available after any action

I added a custom field on ERP_H component and I made this field available through getter methods. I brought this field in to header view and the field looks ok but after I enter the data in that field, the value enter doesn't get retained. I saw the setter method and the data is set correctly. After any action like enter or save, data is lost or the value is not available, any clue?
below are the details:
1) We have created an append structure to CRMST_ADMINH_ERPIL and activated the getter and setter methods, I tried with AET tool too(ofcourse the Zfield are not available withe field names we need).
2) Data binding is happening in the context create note.

At first I tried to create the fields using AET tool. I was successfully able to add field in the model but when I did different issues came with it.
1) I was still not able to hold my data in custom additional fields added through AET tool. So no big difference between AET addition and append structure.
2) In ERP order system is going to call the ERP system through RFC in which the field name should be same as what you send from CRM. It doesn't have a option of mapping intermediately like BDOC structure or something . It calls the LORD API's and post the data. There are bunch of LORD function modules maintained in SAP.
3) to call the function module I have to maintain the same field names in my ERPAdminH structure. So I have no choice but add append structure manually with SAP ECC field name.
4) to your question regarding set property, the data is properly assigned to BOL object and very nex line t I tried to access it and it is there. So that confirmed that I was able to update the BOL structure.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Language Monitors and Bi-directional Printing: What functionality is lost when disabling? What else uses them?

Clients: All are running Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit SP1
We're considering disabling the HP Universal Print Driver Language Monitor and in-turn Bi-directional Printing due to potential server spooler instabilities, before we do this the IT Manager wants to be sure:
1. What functionality is lost when disabling Language Monitors and Bi-directional Printing?
2. What else uses Language Monitors and Bi-directional Printing them? In other words what may break?
3. What specifically do Language Monitors and Bi-directional Printing provide?

Can I confirm this is the procedure for disabling a particular print queue's Language Monitor and Bidirectional Printing? -
1. Locate the relevant Language Monitor registry key in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors
Either delete or rename the registry key (so it cannot be found), in my case: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\HPMLM121
I renamed it to have the date at the end (HPMLM121_2015-01-29).
2. Inside the above registry key is a DLL file mentioned under the DRIVER reference. In my case it's called: hpmlm121.dll.
I searched the entire C drive on the server and this was only found in C:\Windows\System32. I moved this elsewhere out of C:\Windows and also renamed the DLL too.
Therefore preventing Windows from being able to find/use it.
3. I then unticked Bidirectional Printing Support in the Printer Properties Ports tab of the printer in question.
4. Lastly either restart the server (or stop/restart the Spooler service).
I've done all this and the HP Print Notifications for Replace Cartridge etc... are still active.
Any idea why this is?

DNG lossy compressed - the workflow side

The technical side of DNG has already been discussed in other threads. I want to focus on the workflow side here. Viktoria and I have talked about this previously but I wanted to bring it into this forum.
The task is to use lossy compressed DNG files for (way faster) uploading to a service. Service works on the files and sends back a new Lightroom catalog. What we're hoping for was a possibility to import the new settings from that returned catalog and have them applied to the RAW files in the local source catalog.
Victoria though she had tried it once and it worked, but I was not able to confirm this. When I "Import from Another Catalog", this is what I end up with after I imported the altered DNGs. They now are side by side in the catalog, the original, unaltered NEFs and the altered (black & white) DNGs.
Also the field "Changed Existing Photos" in the import dialog was greyed out and said "(none found)". Which is actually kinda expected behavior, isn't it? If you import the same image in a different image format (NEF vs DNG) then Lightroom keeps both as individual files.
Is the necessary workflow for this to use DNG locally as well and ditch the NEFs? Can someone help and elaborate on this functionality?

Yes, and it might be a good reason for switching to a DNG workflow. If the DNGs and NEFs have matching file names, you could us my Syncomatic plugin to copy most adjustments .

Import RAW files as lossy compressed DNG

In LR4.2, I would like to be able to import my NEF files as lossy compressed DNGs. That option is not available in preferences, so I have to do the import to DNG, then invoke the "Convert to DNG" in the library menu where I can select lossy compression. Why not make that option available on import so I don't have to perform the second step?

FB4, Data Services&PHP returned data is lost

I set up an RPC call using the data services, all works fine so far. Fb built a dataType for me holding all the returned variables. Now I let Fb generate the communication forms for me. This results in a form where I put in the parameters and hit the button that triggers the call. And a second form that is supposed to show the results. Now whereas the call of the rpc works fine, the results are never shown. When I dump in the php what is supposed to be returned all looks fine.
As far as I understand Fb sets up an RPCManager that is supposed to handle the result. But I do not understand how to trace the callback. (I used to use the HTTPService where I set up a callback event manually, this was easy to trace but I am kind of stuck with the RPCManager).
Is there a possibility to track the callback function that is supposed to handle the return values of the rpc call? PHP returns an associative array, when I configure the Data service in Fb all fields are correctly identified. What could be a reason for the result form not to show anything? Using RPCs that return a single string only works fine!

Just to add some infos:
Configuring the service works fine: Fb shows that an object consisting of five strings is returned and this is exactly what happens.
But when using this service the lastResult value is always NULL. That seems strange to me.
old amfphp used to have a service browser is there anything comparable for the ZendFramework? I´d love to find out where the data is lost. Resp. what the difference is between the calls when configuring and the calls coming from the application...

Converting DNG to Lossy Compression DNG files in LR4. SWP file?

I am trying to convert some DNG files that were created in LR3 to the Lossy compression in LR4. Lr4 creates a SWP file and the DNG file is not compressed. What is the SWP file and what do I need to do to correctly compress the DNG files?

SWP file is a temporary file. The conversion will take some time, after the file is successfully converted, the SWP file is removed...

Does the new AR 7 11 use lossy compression
