Hi,
in SCDPM DB all Informations from DPM are stored.
config of Protectiongroups, Agents, Restorepoints, Alerts, Jobs.....
you should backup your DB for Desaster Recovery

What else are stored in the database buffer cache except the data blocks read from datafiles?

    That is a good idea.

    a) field name - vield value
    b) field name - vield value

  • How can I see what photos are stored on iCloud?

How can I see what photos are stored on iCloud? I haven't used Photo Stream before so there are no photos on there that I can see.
    Help needed ASAP.
    Thanks

If you haven't used Photostream there won't be any photos "actually on iCloud".
Any photos stored as part of an iOS device backup can be viewed on the iOS device after restoring the backup to the iOS device. They can't be viewed online.

    Good day AMELIASARAH,
One resolution to your issue would be to update your iPhone using iTunes on your computer rather than over the air. This requires much less space on the iPhone as most of the work is done by the computer. See this article for how to do it -

  • What data is stored to the cloud from my I mac

How do I know what data is stored to the cloud from my imac.

By default, a Mac stores in iCloud the data of iCloud-compatible applications, always that "Documents & Data" is turned on in System Preferences > iCloud. Also, you can store mails, contacts, calendars, reminders and notes, always that you have activated them in System Preferences > iCloud.
You choose what to store. If you want to check what's stored, open System Preferences > iCloud > Manage

  • Does sysvol migration in windows 2008 R2 DC, requires any specific steps, if the AD Data are stored not in C drive of the server?

With one of our client, the windows 2008 R2 Active directory data are stored on D drive of the PDC (NTDS DATA, NTDS Logs and SYSVOL) and on the other 2 Dcs, they are on different drives too.
So my question when we do the sysvol migrations to DFS, do we have to add any specific command or script other than the usual migration commands?

    Hi Zac Kurian,
As far as I know there don’t have issue when you migrate your SYSVOL which locate on others partition. If you worry about the DFSR health, you can enable the DFSR report then
monitor the DFSR health status, otherwise, please confirm you have installed the DFS known issue hotfix on your server.

  • Daylight Savings time, and how dates are stored internally and displayed

This is probably a question that appears here annually, but I couldn't really find clear answers, so I'll try asking this in my own words:
I'm in the Eastern timezone, and this Sunday, we'll be turning our clocks back an hour at 2:00 AM. That means that accordign to us humans, the time 1:30 AM will occur twice on Sunday.
I've got an Oracle application that runs every 5 minutes around the clock, and it selects records from a certain table whose updated timestamp (TIMESTAMP(6)) is greater than SYSDATE - 5/1440, meaning any record that was updated in the last 5 minutes. Will we have a problem with some records being processed twice on Sunday morning? I'm theorizing that everything will be OK, that internally, Oracle stores DATE fields using something like an epoch which then gets interpreted when we display them. An epoch value will continue to grow each second no matter what “time” it is according to the U.S. Congress.
A simpler way to look at the question might be as follows:
If you store SYSDATE in a DATE column in row “X” at 1:30 AM before the time change, and you store sysdate in row “Y” exactly one hour later, will Oracle say that X’s timestamp is 60 minutes less than Y’s timestamp? All fields that are related to my particular situation are either DATE or TIMESTAMP(6).
    We use 11g.

    >
That settles that! Thank you! My theory was wrong! I appreciate the help.
    >
You may think it settles that but, sorry to burst your bubble, that doesn't really settle much of anything.
One thing that was settled is the answer to this question
    >
But are they talking about what you can EXTRACT and DISPLAY from the field or what is actually STORED internally?
    >
which is, as Mark stated, they are talking about what is stored internally.
The other thing that was settled is that you will pull the same, or mostly the same, data twice during that one hour. I say 'mostly the same' because of the major flaw your extraction method has to begin with.
    >
If you store SYSDATE in a DATE column in row “X” at 1:30 AM before the time change, and you store sysdate in row “Y” exactly one hour later, will Oracle say that X’s timestamp is 60 minutes less than Y’s timestamp?
    >
No - they will have the same time since 'one hour later' would have been 2:30 AM but the clock was turned back an hour so is again 1:30 AM. So the second time your job runs for 5 minutes at 1:30 AM it will pull both the original 1:30 AM data AND the data inserted an hour later.
And Oracle will say that data stored in row "Z" exactly 45 minutes later than "X" at 1:30 AM will have a date of 1:15 AM and will appear to have been stored earlier.
Your method of extracting data is seriously flawed to begin with so the daylight savings time issue is the least of your problems. The reason is related to the answer to this question you asked
    >
do people avoid using DATE and TIMESTAMP datatypes because they are too simple?
    >
That method isn't reliable - that is why people avoid using a date/timestamp value for pulling data. And the more often you pull data the worse the problems will be.
    >
I've got an Oracle application that runs every 5 minutes around the clock, and it selects records from a certain table whose updated timestamp (TIMESTAMP(6)) is greater than SYSDATE - 5/1440, meaning any record that was updated in the last 5 minutes
    >
No - it doesn't do that at all, at least not reliably. And THAT is the why your method is seriously flawed.
The reason is that the value that you use for that DATE or TIMESTAMP column (e.g. SYSDATE) is assigned BEFORE the transaction is committed. But your code that extracts the data is only pulling data for values that HAVE BEEN committed.
    1. A transaction begins at 11:59 AM and performs an INSERT of one (or any number) of records. The value of SYSDATE used is 11:59 AM.
    2. The transaction is COMMITTED at 12:03 AM.
    3. Your job, which runs every five minutes pulls data for the period 11:55:00 AM to 11:59:59 AM. This job will NOT see the records inserted in step #1 because they had not been committed when your job query began execution - read consistency
    4. Your job next pulls data for the period 12:00:00 AM to 12:04:59 AM. This job will also NOT see the records inserted in step #1 because the SYSDATE value used was 11:59 AM which is BEFORE this jobs time range.
You have one or ANY NUMBER of records that ARE NEVER PULLED!
That is why people don't (or shouldn't) use DATE/TIMESTAMP values for pulling data. If you only pull data once per day (e.g. after midnight to get 'yesterdays' data) then the only data you will miss is for data where the transaction began before midnight but the commit happened after midnight. Some environments have no, or very little, activity at that time of night and so may never have a 'missing data' problem.
Creating your tables with ROW DEPENDENCIES will store an SCN at the row level (at a cost of about 6 bytes per row) and you can use the commit SCN to pull data.
Just another caveat though - either of those approaches will still NEVER detect rows that have been deleted. So if you need those you need yet a different approach such as using a materialized view log that captures ALL changes.

  • What data is stored in the CC Background Job Spool File?

What information is stored in the location referenced in the CC Configuration/Miscellaneous setting of 'Background Job Spool File Location'?  Our test and production versions of this system are configured the same, with both pointing to the same location on their respective servers.  However the test location shows a virsa/bgJobSpool folder in it containing multiple files while our production system shows this location as empty.
Both versions seem to be working OK.  We are running backgrounds jobs in each (risk analysis, management reviews, rule generation, etc.) and seeing results.
We updated to the GRC 5.2 a few months ago and are currently on SP9.  This issue came up during a system audit, so we need to come up with an explanation for the differences.
    Thanks.

I had reviewed that SAP note previously, but it does not seem to help any with our situation.  We are running ad hoc background risk analysis jobs frequently and can always see the results.  Everything seems to work fine from the application side, we just don't see the logs where we thought they should be over on the server.
From the outside, it looks like maybe it is ignoring the configuration setting and is still using the default location for the log.  Does it need to be on the same drive as the application?  I believe our application and the default location are both on our E drive, but we want to put the location for this and the Alert Log on the D drive.
    Thanks.

  • Where can i see what photos are stored on icloud

Hi i have lost some photo's from my computers hard drive!!!! arrrgh! the photo's were taken with my old iphone and orginally shared on my icloud account! How can i see what my icloud is storing????
    HELP PLEASE!!!!

Photo stream photos can only been seen on devices connected to your photo stream, not on icloud.com.  Also, be aware that photos are only kept in photo stream for 30 days.  After that they are removed from photo stream but will remain on any device that has already received them.  In other words, if the photos you are looking for are older than 30 days they won't be in photo stream any longer.  They would only be in the photo stream album of a device that has already received these older photos from photo stream.
The only other place iCloud stores photos is in a device backup.  If your old phone was backed up to iCloud and if the backup is still in iCloud, the backup should contain the photos.  However, the ony way to acces them would be to restore a device to the entire backup, including all its data, not just the photos.
Finally, if you backed up your old phone to your computer by syncing it with iTunes, this backup would also include camera roll photos.  If the backup is on your computer you can use 3rd party software such as iPhone Backup Extractor to extract the photos from this backup and avoid having to restore the entire backup to another device to access them.

  • Where data are stored ?

    Hi
I have SD card where i have installed Firefox, i also moved the profile to that SD to be stored there. Are there any other information stored on basic disc C:\ or Temp... when i use firefox / like history, favourites etc?
The target of my question is:
I want to move all FF Data to be stored on external SD card - when card is off from Laptop there is no single data left / just shourtcut to firefox (which wont work)

Nice, i didnt know that so many apps are made as portable
Those apps are keeping everything on portable device (like SD), right ?
There is no data stored in the main system ?
The situation is like that: my laptop is used by other roommates, i want to put mailbox, web browser (with saved passwords etc..) on portable SD card so noone had access to anything is there, i do there and save there.
The main question is, if i use those portable Apps for Mozilla/Thunderbird on SD card and take it out when i am gone / is there any way someone can restore some private data from laptop? Or 100% things will be on portable SD

  • What values are stored in the alignment region of an image and how can they be set?

I am calling a number of C++ functions with different variable sized LabView images at rates in excess of 20 images per second. I need to tell the C++ code developer what values to expect in the alignment region of the image. Right now I am creating an image with a zero border that is 32 byte aligned, so there is no alignment region and everything works fine.
I would like to move to using normal LabView images, as it saves sereval steps and allows me to use a combination of LabView and C++ operations. I do not want to re-write all the C++ functions to be aware of the LabView alignment and border areas. I just want the alignment area and border area to be zero and process them like they were part of the image.
I can set the border region to zero using Fill Image but I am not clear as to what the values will be in the alignment region, or if I can set them. Does Fill Image also fill the alignment region? Since the C++ code is being developed on a system without LabView, and I do not have the means to debug it on my LabView system, it is tricky to know what is in this region.
In the ideal world, I would like it to be zero or to be able to set it to zero.
    Thanks in advance.
    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,
The function IMAQ Fill Image allows you to set the border and all or part of your image to a certain pixel value that you define. One of the inputs to Fill Image is "Image Mask" which you can use to specify which pixels in your original image will be modified. This help document describes the Fill Image VI in detail and can provide some good information for you.
Essentially, the locations of any non-zero pixels in your Image Mask are where the new pixel value will be set in your original Image. Does that make sense? So if you know where your alignment region is then you can use an image mask with Fill Image to set the alignment region and the border to zero. If you don't use an Image Mask, the Fill Image VI will assign the new pixel value to the entire original image.
