What diff between BIP AttachEntity Report Generation and BIP Report Generation?

Hi all,
I want to know the two WF has what's difference.
I had seen they have same method and step.
Actually,I want to do a function, when click a button, will generate BIP reports.
Using the BIP Report Gneration can do this.
But I want pop a window to open or save the report after the WF finished work.
Could  BIP AttachEntity Report Generation  do that?
I had similitude it seem same as BIP Report Gneration.
Be appropriate to you if you can answer the question.
Thanks,
Wenqin

Ok, let me guess, you are seeing an error that says an invalid printer was selected, right? Well there is a bug in your code but it has nothing to do with the printer that you have selected. Specifically you have some of the margin values set to zero -- which is invalid. The margins have to have a value of at least 1. In case you're interested, I followed down the logic and inside the print report VI the code, for some unknown reason (NI is checking into it), remapps an error code that correctly identifies invalid margins to report one that reports an invalid printer name. Apparently this was first reported in 2008.
Verified this behavior of both LV2013 and 2014.

  • What is the Diff Between tcodes WE19 in XI and WE19 in r/3 sys

    Hi all,
    Can anyone tell me
What is the Diff Between tcodes WE19 in XI and WE19 in r/3 sys?
one more question I have a File>XI->IDOC scenario
the file is picked up from the sender sys
but not posted the IDOC to the receiver sys
I need to post that particular record to r/3 sys can any tell me how to post the record.
    Thanks
    Sai.

SAP PI  alo have ABAP stack part of PI server, so we will have all trasaction codes in PI too(ECC trasaction codes),the use of WE 19 in ECC to reprocess IDoc to external partner system.
WE 19 tx in PI also same purpose if you are using PI ABAP stack for creating and processing IDoc's,but we never use it.
You hav to build mapping logic to suppress unwated data and create IDoc in ECC.

  • MTO(Diff between complex make to order and sales order based mass prod)

    Hi
We are using MTO...Can anyone tell me what is the Diff between complex make to order and sales order based mass prod in finance perspective?

    Hi,
In the case of complex make to order scenario, through MRP, the Project shall be assigned to the sales order. Then there will be milestone billling and all. In the case of mass production MTO, it is only creation of production order for each sales order item and each sales order item shall have sales order cost estimate.
Trust this helps much and do encourage our efforts!
    Cheers!

  • Whats diff between servletcontext.getrequestdispatcher and request.getrequ

    Hi Everybody,
    Whats difference between
servletcontext.getRequestDespatcher and requst.getRequestDespatcher I find that both resolve requested URIs in the same way on OC4J??

    Hi Kishore,
A request copy applies only for customizing (client dependent) objects.
A request tracks object modifications since its last transport. if the object is created in source system and included in a transport request, when it is transported to another system, it will create the object in target system. Then if you modify the  object, it will include modifications since last transport.
As i said, a request copy is only valid for customizing objects. This is entries in tables, you will see that you have two kind of requests, customizing and workbench. Workbench objects are client independent, so request copy doesn't applies.
it's very important to keep the order of requests when you transport and also not to delete requests in any system.
Hope this helps (and hope it is clear, if you have any doubt, just ask!).

  • Diff between AD.I.6(3180816) and AD.I.6.DELTA(6502079) patches

    Hi Hussein
As part of the database upgrade, pre-req is AD.I.6 , but AD.I.6.DELTA(6502079) was already installed. Can I considered as AD.I.6(3180816) is available and skip the AD.I.6 patch.
    Thanks

It will be awesome, if you explain the diff between delta patch and the patch.
Please see (What is the difference between the Patch 6502079 - 'AD.I.6 Delta' and the Patch 6502082 - 'AD.I.6' ? [ID 836418.1]).

  • What happens between the timestamp 'Date Sent' and 'Execute from'

    Hi all,
from SXMB_MONI, I found that some messages take a long time, for example:
    Date Sent            23.09.2008 02:22:39
Time Taken to Process (Secs)    0,5044590
    Execute From         23.09.2008 02:23:12
    To                   23.09.2008 02:23:13
    Status Set           23.09.2008 02:23:13
you can find that there are about 30s between the 2 timestamps.
does anybody know what does the timestamp 'Date Sent' mean? and what does the 'Execute From' mean?
what happens between these 2 timestamps?
    Regards,
    Bean

    Hi,
I can't find date sent there...
Executed from and executed to means times, where message went in to IE and out from IE. For example, if any error occurs, there can be difference 2 days (mapping fails, you correct it and restart the message). So the start will be at 21.10.2008 but end 23.10.2008). But generally, this time comrpises:
    message routing & mapping
    Olian
after list all of the messages in SXMB_MONI, click the column 'EndTime', you will find the 'Date Sent'.

  • Diff between GR based invoice verification and PO based invoiceverification

    Dear Friends
Can any body pl clarify the difference between the GR based I V and
PO based I V and how to configure the above.
    regards
    rk

    Hi,
Gr Based Invoice Verification :  In this a separate invoice item is created for each delivered partial quantity. If we make the allocation with the purchase order system then propose more than one invoice item as a default if more than one partial delivery has been posted for the po item.
If we make the allocation using delivery note the system proposes exactly the po items from this goods receipt, plus the the quanties posted.
using gr based we can assign each invoice item uniquely to a good receipts item. Good receipt and invoices matched in po history
In Gr based invoice qty should not be greater than actual delivered qty.
Purchase Order Based Invoice Verification :  In this system generates one invoice item in the item list for each po item. The system provides quantity to settle in as difference between total d livered qty and thee total invoice qty.
If we make allocation using delivery note the system determines the relevant po items with their total qty to settle-in the same way as if there was a reference of purchase order. The system will not propose qty relevant in delivery note.
If there are several good receipt the purchase order history will not tell you which invoice came from which vendor.

  • What different between the OTN download version and the CD version of 8i for linux?

Does there have any different between the OTN download version and the CD copy version of 8i?
Can I use the OTN download version for production environment?

    They are the same.
Can I use the OTN download version for production environment? I think if you read the download license agreement it specifically says you can't use the software in a production environment.

  • Whats the diff between copying a Transport request and Importing a request?

    Hi gurus,
Can some one explain me the difference between copying a transport request between clients and importing transport request between clients? say for eg: difference between copying a transport request containing a datasource being copied from client 100 to client 200 and importing the same request from client 100 to client 200?... When do we follow such scenario's?

  • Diff between Component controller,Custome controller and  View controller

    hi,
Can any body tell me the following details,
1.difference between the Component controller,Custome controller and  View controller in WD-ABAP.?
    2.what is Lead Selection?
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi.
The component controller is visbile to all views in a component. So all context nodes and methods you create here can be accessed from all views in the component. This way you can share data between the views by mapping context nodes or thru method calls. You can also mark methods and nodes as interface so that they are acessable from other components that define component usages to this cmponent.
Custom controller is quiet similar to the component controller. You can define it if you want to group some views with a custom controller for a certain functionality.
If you want to access a custom controller in a view you have to define the usage first on the properties tab of the view.
A view controller is only visible in the view itself. So all methods or context nodes you define here are only accesable by the current view.
The lead selection is in most cases the current selected element in a context node. The lead selection is used by many UI elements to determine which element has to be shown (e.g drop down).
If you have a table with single selection the current selected table row is the lead selection element of the bound context node.
SO you can get the lead selection element easily in any mthod by calling context_node->get_element( ).
    Hope this clears your questions.
    Cheers,
    Sascha

  • Diff between oracle 8i sql Engine and oracle 9i sql Engine

    hi,
1)Can anyone tell me difference between oracle8i sql engine and 9i sql engine.
2)Does oracle 9i uses the index defaultly if any primary key is there in table
    Thanks
    Rama

    > 1)Can anyone tell me difference between oracle8i
sql engine and 9i sql engine.
    They are different versions.
If you have been expecting a list of differences and enhancements and new product features... forget it. It will take several pages to list. Rather refer to the 9i product feature sheet.
    > 2)Does oracle 9i uses the index defaultly if any
primary key is there in table
Huh? Oracle will use an index if it determines that it costs less to use that index to get to the data, than not using an index.

  • Diff between cost element category 1 and 11

What will be the major difference if we create cost element under category 1 and under category 11.
    I am facing one issue:
Sales commission expenses account - needs to be triggered while releasing sales invoice.
System is behaving differently if we create cost element category as 1 and 11.

    Hi,
Cost element category 1 is used for primary cost and 11 is used for revenue cost element.
Sales commission is which have directly related to sales invoice i.e deductions then use cost element category 12 .
If your using category 1 then it should assign to cost center or internal order, if using category 11 or 12 then it should assign to Profit center.

  • Newbie: diff between starting app from dock and starting from command line

This isn't strictly a developer question, but I'm looking for some expert advice for troubleshooting a vexing problem with Apps--OpenOffice and NetBeans--that don't want to start from the dock but will happily start from a terminal window. When I start OO from the dock, I get an error message about the date command not found in the main.scpt. NetBeans just fails silently. This problem just started happening for no apparent reason--at least not apparent to my limited Mac experience.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could enlighten me on what's going on here or perhaps give me some clues. I am mostly a web developer, so troubleshooting desktop apps is a bit foreign to me, and what little desktop programming experience I have has been on the MS platform. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Thanks, etresoft, for your reply.
I have two users on this machine. Dock launch for both NetBeans and OpenOffice works for one user but not the other. I compared the output of the shell 'set' command for both users and the only material difference was that the user for which the dock launch works included '/Users/username' in the PATH variable. I added that to the 'broken' user's environment.plist, logged out, logged in, and the launch still failed.
The application launch fails on basic shell commands. Here are the console messages for the failed launch.

It's obvious from the console output that progdir is not set correctly. I'm still trying to figure out why the shell commands are not found.
