What discs were included with my iBook G4 (Nov 2004, 1.2GHz)

Does anybody have a list of which discs were included with the iBook G4 (1.2Ghz) that I bought in approx November 2004?
I know there are two 10.3 System Discs, but I don't know if a separate iLife disc was included (rather than just the apps being installed with the system) or if a OS 9.2 disc was included (doubtful on the latter).
The reason is that I recently sold the unit and the buyer claims that the iLife and OS 9 discs are missing. I'm reasonably certain that Apple doesn't include OS 9 in anything recent but can't quite remember on the iLife. I have many Apple discs from my various Macs around here that I can't correlate what goes with what. I was pretty confident that the disc pack for that iBook was complete since I never even opened it...just upgrade to tiger soon after I got it.
PowerBook 12" 1.5Ghz   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

Hi Collin Ong1,
Welcome to Apple Discussions
Your iLife Restore is on thee System Discs I believe. I don't believe your computer came with the OS 9 CD. They stopped shipping OS 9 with the late 2004 iBooks. You should show the buyer this link.
I hope that helps,
Jon

  • What software is included with the MBP 2009?

    Hello All,
Am setting up my new MacBook Pro which I brought home from the store yesterday. I used Migration Assistant to transfer my data and existing applications. iLife apps appear to have been replaced with newer versions, but I've found no trace of an iWork trial, MS Word trial, Comic Life, Omni Outliner... no Quicken, games, demos, etc.
So I'm wondering what's included and where it's located...
The computer came with 2 DVDs: Mac OS install DVD and Applications Install DVD.
On the Applications DVD, if I select customize install, I see:
    -cpu help files
-iPhoto (grayed out, cannot be selected)
    -iMovie (grayed out)
    -Garage Band
    -iWeb
    -iDVD
    Should there be another DVD?
Where is the complete iLife restore software located?
Should there be a remote unit to use with Front Row, as is the case with the iMac Intel, or is that not included with the MBP?
    Thanks

Quoting from the MacBook Pro page on the online Apple Store:
    http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shopmac/family/macbookpro
    Included software
Mac OS X Snow Leopard + iLife
Every Mac comes with the world’s most advanced operating system, as well as iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, and iWeb so you can do more with your photos, movies, and music.
The Apple Remote is not included.
iPhoto and iMovie may have been grayed out because they were already installed. Those two apps plus GarageBand, iWeb and iDVD constitute iLife.

  • What can I do with my iBook G4?

I just purchased a new Macbook and want to reuse my old iBook as a media server/player if possible.
I can plug it into my home theater with a USB cable and play movies and music on my TV but that is only when the lid is opened. I want to keep it closed and use my Macbook to connect to it wirelessly to control it and I want to store it in the stereo cabinet.
    Is this possible?
It works fine, it is a little slow but it has 1.25 RAM and a 100G HD.
Is there any benefit to using it as simply a file server? I have an external HD I can plug into my router to store files on and be accesable to all my computers. Would it be better to use the ibook for this?
I hate to throw it away and I live in France and it has a US keyboard and power supply so it will be hard to sell.
What should I do with it?

Oh yeah, and I can also plug it in with an ethernet connection to my router so all computers can access it but i am having trouble waking it from sleep if the lid is fully closed.

  • Publishing MA to ERP: What validations are included with Use ERP Validation

If I select the "Use ERP Validation" checkbox in my integrated document type for Master Agreements, what is the list of validations that will be enforced?  I would like to know this so that I know what additional custom validations I should add that are not included with the standard selected.  The SAP Integration Guide does not give this level of detail.  Thanks.

    Hi,
    Here are some hints:
    @Header:
Some of the validations done here are related to filelds in the integration tab like transaction type, purchasing org, purchasing group, . The fields mandatory check &  replicated flag check on this objects are checked..
in addition at the Contract document level other integrated objects like vendor, payment terms are also checked for replication flags.. The purchase org selected in integration tab should match one of vendor's purchase org.
    @Item:
There is an array of validations again.. here the focus is the master data used in line items are checked for consistency:
    1. If Plant is replicated, check that it is assigned to a company code. 2. All item plants must belong to the same Company Code and this must match the Company Code on the header. If Plant is not set, it is treated as valid. 3. If both Plant and P-org are ECC replicated, check that there exists a relationship.
Guess best way to go forward is to do some tests for your particular scenario and see if it is covered in standard. if not you can implement a custom validation in the prepublish script
    Thanks, baski

  • WTH? OS discs not included with refurbs??

So after wanting to get a laptop for a number of years, I finally bit the bullet and ordered one through Mac's Barclay's credit program over the last several days, one of the low-end refurbished 15.4" MacBook Pros. I chose to do so A) to save money, and B) I'd already heard good things about the refurbs and how they'd already been factory-tested (my brother had himself made the mistake of purchasing brand-new one of the flawed 2002 G4 MDD "wind tunnel" models, so I suppose that made me a bit leery of getting a new model, even if I could afford).
Anyway, now I'm wondering if I made a mistake doing so, because here when it showed it it had this empty black "X" disc container, and no OS Snow Leopard disc. Has this been standard with refurbs? What do they expect us to do if there's some kind of OS failure?? I must've saved some $150 from the brand-new purchase price, but now it's almost as if I didn't save much money at all, because now I'll potentially have to buy one of those discs.
What do you recommend? I still haven't even turned on the computer, and now I'm kinda wondering if I made a bad purchase...

It may depend on when the "refurb" was originally manufactured, phasmatrope.
The regular early release MBP13's did, indeed, come with Leopard, rather than Snow Leopard. When SL was released existing stock had a "drop in" copy of Snow Leopard added. After a few weeks, instead of the "drop in", new computers came with a new set of the grey discs with Snow Leopard on board.
So it depends on which set of discs you have been provided with. If they are the original grey discs then they will contain Leopard. If they are the later set they will contain Snow Leopard.
My suspicion, given that your computer came with Leopard installed, is that you may find that they contain Leopard, and in this case I would be asking for a "drop in" copy of Snow Leopard. Apple generally advertise the "refurbs" with a copy of the latest OS included as part of the package (see http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC207LL/A?mco=MTU5MjkwMjk for example) and the fact that you received an empty slip case certainly suggests that there was meant to be a copy in there.
But it is easy enough to check. If you pop the disc in your drive and then do a 'get info" on it it will tell you what "version" it is under the "general" information tab. The early ones were 10.5.7.
It should also tell you in the fine print of the Mac OS X Install DVD.
So check the DVD. If it is NOT one of the later Snow Leopard builds then ask for a free copy.
    Cheers

  • What exactly is included with the new adobe photography package?

okay first off, I'm in love with all of these massive changes all the way around.
secondly, I'm a bit of a hot mess.
For starters I am upgrading my poor old PC to a Mac (it was time!) this means I loose all my previous software. (It's time to upgrade as well anyhow) I currently have cs4 installed, and also lr4 On my PC. I pick up my new Mac mini tomorrow, and would like to have a solid game plan.
I'm having a hard time understanding what the new cloud options are, as well as the photography package for $9.99/mo. With this, is creative cloud included? do I have to purchase creative cloud membership in addition to the photography package? Does this include full use versions of both photoshop and Lightroom? And lastly what is the benefit vs buying lr5 outright (physical software) and / or buying the full download use of Photoshop and using via creative cloud. My how times have changed.... I feel so out of the loop, however extremely excited for the changes and inspiration.
Thanks in advance, and keep up the amazing changes.
    RP

My understanding is that the $9.99 photographer package includes Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom CC 2014, as well as 2G of cloud storage. It doesn't include access to the rest of the apps in the CC universe (which you'd get with a full CC package), nor does it include TypeKit as a part of the package. It also includes access to Lightroom apps for the iPad and iPhone, and the Photoshop Mix app for the iPad.

  • How Many Discs Are included With InDesign CS 3

Hi, I have a dumb question. I am getting ready to sell my InDesign CS 3. I found only one disc, but the box has a place for two discs. Does anyone remember if InDesign 3 came with 1 or 2 discs?
Thanks a lot for not laughing me out of here...
And if you do laugh at me, I completely understand!
    Mike

    Dave asked
    "What are you using instead?"
I am actually a web designer, not a print designer. I bought InDesign and bought a membership to an online training site, thinking an associate would have a lot of extra work. His extra work fizzled out about the same time I bought InDesign. A year and one job later, I'm giving it up.

  • What games were bundled with os9 ?

This is for a guru or die hard gamer that was playing on Macs around 1992 - 94. There was a game on Mac (LC475 - LC575) that I played at uni.
It starts off with a planet in space. There is nothing else. You click on the planet and get closer and closer with each click. Soon you are at like a Spaceport lounge where you are greeted by a alien. Thats all I can remember.
Its like Myst. You play the game by clicking around with your mouse to move forward or back, left or right...
Does anyone know it? Im desperate!!
I know some Mac system CDs had games "bundled" on the operating disc, like with the early 10.1 10.2 . Im pretty sure this was included on the disc with the LC Mac Is there a website that has this list?
Thanks for ANY leads or help

My first Macintosh (I had a Laser 128K - Apple II compatible, back in 1985) was a Performa 6400CD, that I got back in 1996.
The only games I remember coming bundled with it was Eric's Solitaire Sampler, Power Pete (set in a toy store at night where the toys come to life), and Jigsaw Deluxe demo. We actually bought the full version of Jigsaw Deluxe (and as I upgraded my computer through the years, I kept Jigsaw Deluxe and my wife still plays it regularly on our iMac G5 under Classic).
You aren't talking about an early version of Marathon are you? A first person shoot'em up game.
There was a game called Galactic Trader, where you zoomed from planet to planet, buying items from one planet, selling it at another.
Look through these games: [Space Games|http://www.umich.edu/~archive/mac/game/space> .
Click on the link that says 00index.txt, for a brief description of the games found there. Final Frontier sounds similar to Galactic Trader. Star Patrol sounds like a possiblity, or maybe Space Station Pheta.
Here is a link to shareware titles with over 400 games (no descriptions of the games though): [shareware games|http://www.jagshouse.com/cds.html#sw] .
    Good luck!

  • What EXACTLY is included with Camera RAW?

    Background....
I run a 2010 MacPro and a 2008 MacBookpro. Have Creative Suite Design premium installed on both systems.
Photoshop 12.0.2 updated to 12.0.4 just fine and the Camera Raw plug in updated from 6.3 to 6.4 on the MacBookPro - no issues.
On the MacPro, Photoshop updated from 12.0.2 to 12.0.4 fine, but the Camera Raw plug in update fails stating something like "Has been deleted improperly" I don't know why this is.
So to attempt and avoid a reinstall on the MacPro I figured I'd just copy the ACR plug in from the MacBookPro to the MacPro. This works fine. But I still have the update alert that ACR needs updating. If I run the update I still get the "Deleted improperly" message. I can't seem to locate only an ACR installer, just updaters.
Is there something other then the ACR plug in involved with ACR?
Is there a way to install ACR without a complete app reinstall?
I'll probably break down and reinstall... but I'm curious why just installing the (known) good plug in didn't A) remove the update check and B) still causes the install error.

    Hi Scott,
Please provide us with Camera Raw installer log file at "/Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers", This would help us in resolving the issue.
Please mail it to [email protected]
    Thanks,
    Ashutosh
