What do I do if I typed in the wrong email making an Apple ID and it won't let me change it to my email?
I made my account but on the App Store it still won't let me change it

My Mom typed in the wrong email address and now her mail is locked. It states that it can't be sent because the server rejected one of the recipient's addresses. The message has been placed in your Outbox. Now when I go to the outbox I can not access it. It is like it's locked. She has and IPad version 1. Any help would be appreciated.

If you can't use the mail app now - if it is frozen - quit the app and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close mail by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down onthe mail app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

If that doesnt help try resetting the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

So i was trying to make a new apple id for my ipod touch because i got a gift card but i think i typed in the wrong email address because i have not gotten the comformation email yet. While your signing up it asks you if you want to add a gift card so i added my gift card but now if i cant get into my apple id then i just lost $15. please help

I am amazed by the number of people who claim that they've forgotten their Apple ID, password, security questions, and rescue email address. I'm wondering what percentage of these people have stolen property. Regardless, you can get your Apple ID here: Settings>Store>tap on your AppleID.

My partner's iphone was stolen last week and they have changed the password to her Apple ID. They also have access to her email. She can't change her email password for 1 month. She has bought a new iphone. How can she get it activated?

I have read all the Apple ID support notes, but cannot find how to recover my account in my case. I mistakenly thought I should change my AppleID to my new email, and when I tried to do that, I lost the thread. I recieved a verification email sent to my new email (so it must have added ok) but when I go to change my password, I never get that confirmation email. So when I try to access the account by answering security questions, I must have typed in the wrong birthdate way back when, and I can't get past that screen. What now? I seem to be able to access an AppleID that does not include any of the games I've purchased over the years, so it must be a newer one I inadertently set up. Thus, I haven't been able to access my main working account for awhile now, and I really want to buy some things and have them on my iPad & new iPhone. How do I get access to my old account with all my past purchases in it?
I too added 2nd apple ID when I tried to get Free app from apple store just to get to NONE on the credit card needed. It said it sent confirmation email to my new apple ID email that I have to confirm. Problem is I can not get to the new apple ID email account. On my ipad it logs into my original email account and I see no where to log into another email account. If I go to my laptop, the new apple ID I created does not let me log into email where apple said it was sent to. It did not send to back up email account either.

If you are saying you can't turn off find my phone because it is still using an old ID, you need to change your ID back to the old address at My Apple ID turn off find my phone then change your ID back at my Apple ID. -
I bought a book on itunes, and can't open it. tried to send it to my iphone so i could read it there and it won't let me carry it over. I have updated Ibook on my iphone. What do I do? I do not want to buy the book again.
You won't be able to open it on your computer, ibooks can currently only be read in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. How were you trying to get it to your phone, syncing it by selecting it on the iPhone's Books tab when connected to your computer's iTunes, or by dragging-and-dropping it from the Books part of your iTunes library over and onto the iPhone 'device' ? Another option is to try re-downloading it directly in the iBooks app on your iPhone via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in it (re-downloading).

I tried to set up my wi fi but i typed in the wrong password, how can i change it?
My ipad prompted me to enter the password for my wifi network but of course i typed in the wrong one... now it is not giving me an option to retype it in for this wifi network it just opens pop up screen that says "unable to connect" my other ipad connects to the wifi not problem so its not my network... i just need to change the password... anyone have any ideas on this one??? please help
this seems like such a simple thing i do not understand why it is so hard to fix this problem...Tap on the blue arrow for the network in the lst, and it should take you to the details page.
There a button there labeled Forget this network. Tap it. go back to the network list and choose the network again. -
I just recently got an iPod touch 5 and it won't let me download apps. It says they are free but when I install it , it keeps popping up saying before purchasing I must tap continue to verify my purchase something like that. Idk what to do. !!!!!
Yes. You can set the payment method to "None" once you log into iTunes on your PC/Mac. I have it set up this way.
