My iPad's screen cracked on the top middle by the carmera & on the top left. What do i do?
DO I have to pay to get it fixed? or Buy a new one?

My iPad 2 screen cracked, is there a way to get it fixed (I don't want to buy a new one)?

About a few weeks ago my iPad 2 screen cracked. I don't know how it happened, but we think that someone might have stepped on it. It wasn't bad at all, but then it spread. One small crack across the middle & top, with a large "spider web" crack on the right side. So I was wondering if there is a way to get the screen fixed from Apple. Right now, buying another iPad isn't really the best option.

I don't know what country that you are in, but in the US the price for repair (i.e. replacement) is for the iPad 2 (from here) $249, and here in the UK £206.44 . If you select your country at the top of that page you might be able to find the price for your country and your service options.

My ipad mini screen cracked...no reason I haven't dropped it nothing just cracked...I thought it was a hair on the screen. Then a scratch on the screen protector...but it is a crack?

What's the problem with my iPad's screen?

I've recently noticed that sometimes my iPad's screen can 'burn' in and I can see what the previous screen is, as you can see on the image above (the Search and sidebar from Message is visable). I was wondering if anyone knows what the problem is, because it's rather weird. This has also happened with bar from Safari.

I am completely aware of the brightness slider.
I usually have my iPad set between 5/8 and 3/4 way to the right. At present, I have it set for 50%.
The brightness is not the problem.
It's a contrast issue. It's most apparent with anything with a white background and/or drop shadow effects involved.
Things look like they are washed-out in color. Like the screen has too much constrast.
And the "burn-in" or image "ghosting" that appears after a particular app screen is dismissed, shows up as clearly as it does in Matthew's example. It does slowly disappears after a minute or two, but it always appears when going between different apps or different screens.
The keyboard even "ghosts"or looks like it has slight "burn-in" after it is dismissed.
This effect only last a couple of minutes if the iPad hasn't had any activity.
I have had my original iPad since April 2010. Have never had this issue untl now.
Planning on getting an iPad3, but wanted to pass on my original to my girlfriend who can't afford one
at this time. I am just at a loss at what happened to have caused this.
Like I stated earlier, I wonder if it had something to do with introducing my iPad to indoor/outdoor temp. extremes?
I am hoping this will clear up on its own, but I have been dealing with this for a whole week, so far.
My Mom's iPad1 which I bought for her B-day, around the same timeframe does not exhibit this problem. Her iPad has never been out of her house.

I got an iPad mini this January in the US. I dropped it yesterday and now the screen is cracked. Any suggestions of which is the best/efficient way to have it repaired/changed?

My iPad Air screen simply cracked without dropping it or damaging it. Has this happened to anyone? Does the guarantee cover it? I bought it less than a week ago.

I dont know how but I broke my iPad screen then when I was making a call to ask something to someone I dropped my phone on it. How much would it take to fix it? I really love apple but this is crazy I heard that it was about $400.00

IPad 3 screen crack

I bought a iPad on 30-07-2012 was working fine.my 41/2 year daughter dropped in the floor as the iPad was inside the cover & one corner of the iPad hit the floor only a hairline crack is developed from the corner like a bow.touch screen is working still. How to repair it.how much it will cost.

Why has my iPad mini screen cracked?

This week I put my iPad mini in the same place I usually do before I go to bed, I plugged it in and left it to charge over night. I came back in the morning to a cracked screen, it is still in perfect working order, just cracked. The cracking looks like it originates from just below the central on button where the charging socket is, it has circular cracks around the button then six or seven cracks fanning out from it. I'm upset and a little confused as to how this happened and what I do now.

Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation. If you can convince them the iPad hasn't been dropped or abused, you'll get a replacement.

I recently upgrade to an iPAD Air. I gave my old iPAD (1st gen) to my wife. I restored it to original factory conditions. Now we cannot install iBook on it since it requires iOS 7. What can we do with older iPADS that are still 100% functional.
