Well, I spoke too soon. Yes, I'm using the same account on both iPads, but I just changed my password for the umpteenth time and now I get the disabled message on both iPads. That won't help. You need to contact iTunes support so they can re-enable your account. They only work via email or live chat: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
