Now, this is a simple projcet with talking heads. I have no rolling shutters, or anyting. All I want it to do is create optimized media. I do not want my poor processor to work at 100% for 3 hours to analyze for problems that does not exist.
What secret checkbox elseware in this gorundbraking software have I missed to uncheck?
If anyone can halp out with this It would be great. Im geting tired of listening to a synphony of fans spinning as fast as thay can to cool down my computer.

You have both 'Copy to Event Folder' AND 'Create Optimised Media' checked!
That means it's going to duplicate all the original material and put it in the Event AND its going to transcode the original footage and create ProRes 422 - which produces file sizes between five and eight times larger than the original.
So your poor mac is creating tons of duplicated material.
If you want it to be quick, cancel the import, and create a new event.
When you import your material again uncheck all the boxes.
Once the material is imported, if you find you have any difficulty playing it back, maybe transcode to ProRes - but you must remember to select high quality when you export the movie, or you'll get a low-res movie.

You cannot make a cellular international call for free just because you have a WiFi connection. However, you can make low cost International calls over WiFi using apps such ase Skype or Google Voice. You can also Facetime to another iPhone, iPad or Mac over WiFi or cellular data; that is free.

you can use iMovie to record a video for free on a Mac with iSight.
1. Open iMovie HD
2. Choose “Create a new project”
3. Name the project for example “iSight Movie” (first field). In the second field, let the default location “Sequences”, in the third one, video format, choose “iSight”. Push “Create”
4. iMovie window opens, next to the scissors, choose the camera (Camera mode), then iSight. Now you appear on the screen, right?
5. Press “Record with iSight” in the main picture window.
6. Press the same button to stop. Your new clip appears now in the clip panel at the right.
7. You are done!

Most applications will work just fine. I typically have 150 or so apps installed, and typically only 1 or 2 will "break". The vast majority of apps will continue to operate just as well as before if not better. iOS developers are privy to beta testing the upcoming OS, so the week or so before and after the official release you'll see a larger number of apps needing to be updated than normal. Last night I updated 23 apps, and you'll see alot over the next week or two getting updates. Most are making minor changes to take advantage of new APIs, or add a new feature based on a new function of the OS (like twitter integration into the OS for example). Very few apps, (maybe 3-4 percent??) actually are getting updated because they're broken, but there will be a few. Most of the time, any apps that would break will have already been addressed in an update prior to the release of the new OS, and you've probably already updated that app so that it will work seamlessly and perfectly after the update hits.

Try this:
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Yes. EXS 24 is the sampler instrument.
I loads AIFF, WAV, SD2, Soundfont and other trypes of files.
RTFM. Theres a whole manual just on the Logic plugins. Crack it open to the EXS24 chapter.

I have to open a book? LOL! I don't think I've done that in quite a while, even when I was working on Gigastudio for the Mac (which I have a working copy of, to bad Tascam took so long, suppose that's why they stopped development)...
LOL, anyway, I will but can't someone tell me how to load a aiff, wav or am I missing out as I do want to not only load but manipulate. Is it a good sampler in that like Sculpture, or say N.I. sampler that I can mangle the sample to make it sound very different?

Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. Your iPhone is probably locked to your former cell carrier. In such case only that carrier can unlock it, so you'll need to contact the carrier. Note that unless things have changed recently only 3 offers unlocking. If you used a different carrier, they do not appear to offer unlocking which means that your son will not be able to use your old iPhone. But call your carrier and ask.
