What do I need to do to see twitter widgets?
When I create a twitter widget after logging into my twitter account, it doesn't preview when using Firefox. If I log on with other browsers it is there. Is there a setting in Firefox that is preventing me from seeing it?
There's a plugin called "do not track me". When active, the twitter timeline widgets won't show. You'll have to disable it if you're working on your design or css. or you can "allow twitter" in the plugin's options.

Your location is determined from a location database which contains the MAC addresses of routers and their physical location. A MAC address is a unique number which is built-in to all network devices when manufactured. The database is built and updated by actually driving around and mapping router locations.
Since you just moved the location of your router has not been updated in the database and when you use Maps you will see your old location.
If you go outside your house you can be correctly located because your iPod sees other routers which are in the location database. Note that you do not need to be connected to a router for your iPod to see it and obtain its MAC address. -

I am trying to restore my Apple TV because when updating, it showed the USB cable point an arrow to the iTunes app icon. I call the apple support team and they said to connect the micro usb cable to my computer. But iTunes isn't showing the devices screen so I cannot do anything. Maybe it's the cable or something. Help.
Have you tried the following:
Disconnect the HDMI, power and USB cables
Wait for 10 seconds
Reconnect the USB cable
Immediately hold the menu and play buttons on the remote for 15 seconds
Apple TV 2 should now start flashing the LED wildly and appear in iTunes with the restore button.
If it still doesn’t show up, maybe it's your cable (even if it works just fine with other devices). Sometimes you need to wiggle the USB plug or put a little weight on it in order to have a reliable connection. Or just try another cable if you have one, sometimes that helps too.
If that still doesn't work, try the above but add the power cord after step 3 (and before step 4).
@Hecumi: this goes for your 2nd gen Apple TV as well, incl. the last tip concerning the power cord.

I cannot see all of my mailboxes in my mailbox list.
I'm guessing you are seeing the Trash in the Favorites bar.
Select Show Mail box list. If you don't see the Mailboxes icon, under View in the Menu bar select Show Mail Box List. (wording might be different in Mountain Lion).
If you still have problems, Log out under the Apple in the Menu bar. Log into Guest User. Open Mail, do you see the Mailboxes icon now? -

As already stated, there are no security problems with Snow Leopard.
That being said, yes you can upgrade all the way to Mavericks with iMac,11,2 (if there is enough RAM installed), but you should be aware that when you go past SL some of your applications will not run. There is no fix for this other than getting more recent versions of the apps.
So, you could end up spending money to address a non-existent problem. -

I'm not sure that if it's only happening on a specific page, and ofcourse it did work before on FF 7.0.1.

I need assistance getting my windows computers to see my external harddrive attached to the airport extreme. It is a my passport. The disk shows on the airport utilitiy but neither of my pcs can see it. If i connect a simple thumb dirve they see it just fine.
What do i need to do to get this to work. There is no password on the external hard drive at the moment. I tried removing it to see if that would work.There are a number of posts related to access issues between Windows Vista / 7 and AirPort Disks. Two potential solutions being forwarded are: 1) Changing the LAN Manager authentication level, and/or 2) Disabling the Windows Search feature.
To change the LAN Manager authentication level:
From the Windows Vista / 7 desktop, click Start
Search for: security
Click 'Local Security Policy'
Goto Local Policies > Security Options
Under Policy, double-click 'Network security: LAN Manager authentication level'
Change level to: Send LM & NTLM responses
Under Policy, double-click 'Network security: Minimum session security for NTLM SSP based (including RPC) clients'
De-select 'Require 128-bit encryption'
Click OK
To disable Windows Search:
Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features
On the right-hand side, click "Turn Windows features on/off"
Scroll down, and de-select "Windows Search".
Press OK, close all windows and restart.
A third "solution," that has worked for me, is verify that both the AirPort base station and the Win7 PC are using the exact same Workgroup Name. In my case, I use "WORKGROUP" (without the quote marks) for this name. From the AirPort Utility, you would enter this value on the Disks > File Sharing tab. On Win7, Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System > Change Settings > Change > Workgroup -

Another option, if your eMac has USB 2.0 is a USB plug in WiFi adapter.
This will have software that's needed for this device to be recognized and work, also.
It maybe software on CD or a download from a website.
Do a search for USB WiFi adapters Mac OS X.
On another note:
Can't believe we still can't edit posts on iOS mobile devices, like the iPad.
It's a pain to have to go back to my Mac if I make a major editing issue.
I wish they would fix this issue, already.

Saving music directly to your phone is a great and easy way to have access to your music on the go. jimpick, there may be a few reasons why your phone and computer are not seeing each other. Are you using the original USB cable that came with your phone? If not, that cable may not support data transfers.
When you connect your phone and computer together, does your computer recognize that something has been plugged in to the USB port? It should attempt to install drivers/software. From your phone, please sweep your finger downward (from the status bar at the top of the screen) to display your Notifications. You should see a connection alert with the option to choose Media Device. This way your computer knows to treat your phone as a removeable hard drive.
A window should populate, providing the option to open this storage device. From there you should be able to save your music in the Music folder. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you, jimpick.
