What do i need to do with my current iPhoto before upgrading to iPhoto 11? i don't want to lose any of my photos!
i'm getting ready to upgrade to iphoto 11 so i can use photostream. I just don't want to lose my current photos.

When you open iPhoto '11 for the first time, your library will be upgraded in order to be used with iPhoto '11. If this process doesn't finish correctly, you will lose all your photos.
Because of that, the only thing you have to do is to make a backup of your iPhoto library before upgrading. Just open a Finder window, go to the folder where your iPhoto library is (normally, Pictures) and make a copy of it in another folder or drive. With this, you can upgrade safely to iPhoto '11

If their app is not compatible, then there is a possibility that the app will crash every time you open it or some other way that makes the app unusable and then you would be unable to access that data. That's what backups are for. Use Time Machine. It's free and external drives are cheap. To recover your iPhone's content requires the use of third party utilities. Success is not guaranteed. Read:

I'm not sure what your question has to do with networking on the AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, or Time Capsule....but if you buy an AirPrint compatible printer, it will work with the iPad2.

If the device is in recovery mode, any data on it is already lost.
The only options are:
Restore the device to get it functional.
Enjoy the paper weight.

No one here said anything about an update or your device needing it.
FYI, you are not addressing Apple here, we are all users like yourself.
If the device is in recovery mode, the only option is to restore it. All data on the device is gone. This should not be an issue if the device has been used as designed and regularly synced/backed up. -

You can only sync an ipad to one computer at a time.
You can look to something like dropbox, upload your photos there, then do the sync and since your photos are backed up it won't hurt if they are deleted. -

There are a couple of tools you can use to backup your Firefox user data including extensions. The first is FEBE, which is an extension that allows you to backup your entire profile (location where user data is stored). The second is MozBackup, a free application for backing up Mozilla profiles.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. That is how it works
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

I have have about 20 albums in iPhoto, and I've never had an issue until recently. I created a new album, and have been dragging pictures into the album over the past 4 months or so (it's to update progress on the construction of our new house). When
