What do I need to do with the warning of "The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs is missing."? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled itunes but there has been no change. I have PowertoGo on my HP.

What do I need to do to correct the problem. Unistalling and reinstalling iTunes has not helped. I have PowerToGo on my HP. I can burn through this program but want to do so by iTunes. Any Suggestions that would help? Diagnostics for iTunes states that "No driver found" E:hp DVD A DH16ACSH.

I re installed twice and error message is still there. Try to burn CD and message says: Disc recording not found.

Spoke to Dell support for 2 hours. Reinstalled updated drivers for CD DVD drive but same results.

The regsitry setting used by the I tunes drivers for importing adn burning CD's & Dvd's are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. I have re-installed I tunes several times uninstalling all components in the correct order. Also put registry settings in the registry editor for the device filter and still am getting this message.

i have a story about my sister, am talking on her behalf, she got stolen her phone at a caffee when she just come from a horeble exam, she was very mad and having haedace for not doing well at the exam, i ask her if we could have coffee before we go home, once she sate; while i was getting the coffee for her, some one snicked to her pocket and took the phone, immidatly she feelt it and went on to searching, but nathing was hopefull. what makes it more heart braking is that she worked day and night just to buy the phone and pay for her books and so on as a student. she use to work 16 houres a day before she had to start school. 8 houres in one place and then to the other place. and she was always demanding for more houres to work; one day her boss saw her on her other job and she was serprised to see her and saied OHhh my God Milly if you work like this, i wonder if you servive, how could you also ask for more houres, My sis had to do it she has no parents or any thing, well the phone was taken after only two months of having it. the sad thing is she stile dream having it even though she can't think of buying againe. well me i have tryed a lot of things but i know some were out there there is a solution for people like this, it is not always fare for some one who has payed up to 800 to just loose his ......

I'm sorry, but your sister, unless she had already turned on the "Find my iPhone" feature and the person who took the phone has not disabled it, is out of luck. She should report the theft to local police authorities, including the serial number of her iPhone. While her experience is unfortunate, there are good reasons why Apple cannot do anything else about it.
I hope she gets her phone back.

I had the same problem. It turned out the issue for me was that I had Automatic downloads turned off on my devices!
see below how to turn it on.
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your device.
Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Tap On/Off switch to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type.

We want to make sure your photos are backed up successfully! Have you tried to stop the process and start it again? You can stop the process by stopping the Cloud and backup process completely in Settings>Applications>All>Verizon Cloud>Force stop. One it has stopped make sure you care connected to WiFi and try the backup again.

Try removing and then reinstalling all the Apple software using:

Everytime I connect my iPod Touch (4th Gen) to my laptop, running Win 7 (64 bit) I get the message "The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. I am running ver 10.2.2.12 of iTunes. I HAVE NOT installed any other burning software to my laptop either. I haven't tried uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing it yet. Would that perhaps fix the problem? I've read that many users have had issues with the new version of the software and I was wondering if that might be causing my issue. I'd like to point out that iTunes seems to work after getting rid of the message, but I haven't tried to burn any CDs or put music from a CD to my laptop. If you're still getting the error message (especially when you plug in the Touch), I'd check for a device filter confusion on the PC. (They can affect the connection of USB devices to a PC, as well as burning and importing CDs.) For that one, see:

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!
