What do I need to install OSX on an A1095

My daughter sent me an older G4 PowerBook A1095 that had the hard drive erased after she stopped using it.
I want to get it operational; but don't have any Apple OS/X software to install on it.
What is the least expensive way of obtaining the O/S software I need to install on the machine?

It came with OS 10.3.3 installed, however it can also run Tiger OS 10.4.x and Leopard OS 10.5.x. OS 10.3 is obsolete and it's difficult to find OS 10.4 or 10.5 installers, and if you find a copy it's usually $100+.
Another problem is that the Tiger and Leopard installers only have the system files and do not include any apps. Have you daughter look for the original install discs.
Another possibility. Suggest you join LEM-Swap for buying & selling Mac stuff. http://groups.google.com/group/lemswap After you join, post a WTB (want to buy). State what you need any maybe someone will have it.

Hi,
You need two cables, one is a sata cable:

This cable is only for data and connects the hdd to the SATA connector on the motherboard.
The other cable is for power:

This connects the hdd to the PSU.
You can also buy a combo cable like this:

All you have to do now is to connect the hdd and that's it. Make sure that the primary drive with the operating system is connected to the primary SATA connector (I think there are numbers 1, 2, 3..)

The sharepoint PIK is available for BO enterprise only. SP3 is refering to BO enterprise XIR2 SP3. This Service Pack is not available for CR 2008. In order to integrate CR 2008 in BO enterprise XIR3 you need to install SP0 on top of CR 2008. But as I said above without BO enterprise you won't be able to use the PIK.
I copied the following system requirements from our Install Guide for BOE XiR3 PIK:

I think all your answers can be addressed in a free session with an apple genius. All of your questions are about things that, as softwater points out, are free.
you have time machine already on your machine, hit command+spacebar and type time machine, hit enter. time machine will come up. Follow the steps it says to set it up.
Boot Camp (which I've never used) is also on your machine already. hit command+spacebar and then type Boot Camp. Hit enter. This is boot camp assistent. Use your CD of windows with this software and you'll be able to boot into windows 7.

You cannot use a Windows machine.
No idea if this will work because you have/had Ubuntu installed - hit Command + Option + R keys while restarting/booting up. Once in the Utilities, make sure the drive is formatted correctly and erase it, then reinstall the OS.

Are you trying to install the DB on Linux from your Windows Box? if so, you need to have an XWindows client on your client. You have to SSH or Telnet into the box, set your DISPLAY variable. In fact, it is all in your documentation for the DB install. We still don't understand what you are exactly asking.
Do you have direct access to your Linux machine? If so, and it has a graphical GUI, then you can find install guides for most flavors of Linux at dizwell.com. His are most excellent and show examples, but do not go over the XWindows problem. You would have to resolve that first.
A free XWindows environment for Windows is Cygwin.
Once the DB is running on Linux then all you do is create a TNS entry on it on your client and it connects. It is the same as setting up a connection to connect to Oracle on a Windows box.

OK, I am an Oracle newbie here, so go easy on me. Here at my job I just got a new computer and I need to figure out what Oracle products I need to install in order to continue doing my work.
My new PC is a 64-bit Windows 7 desktop computer. It has Crystal Reports 2008 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate. Visual Studio also has Crystal Reports for Visual Studio installed. The work I do has me writing reports against the database our vendor-supplied software uses, which is an Oracle 10g database (I believe). I know that I currently use the Oracle 10g client on my old computer (32-bit Windows 7) to connect to this database.
In addition to running reports, I also have custom written console applications written in C# which query this Oracle database. It does this by referencing the Oracle.DataAccess DLL file. The version of that DLL is 10.2.0.100.
Now, my assumption was that I needed the Oracle Client installed, and since I was using the 10g client before, I looked for this again but in a 64-bit compatible version. It does not appear that this exists, or it did at one point and does not anymore. So I tried instead to use the 64-bit compatible version for 11g. I managed to get that installed and used the info from my old tnsnames.ora file to set up connections to my old production and development databases, but that was all the further I could get. I believe I also need something called Oracle Data Access installed as well, but I couldn't seem to find the right version of that.
Oracle is outside of the scope of what we normally do here in our shop, so I haven't managed to find anyone here who can assist me. I'm hoping the good folks here can tell me, based on what I have and what I need to do, what I need to install. A friend had purchased a HP Pavilion DV7 -6B50EB that came with 1 TB hard disk. On the PC there is an empty slot for a second disk. What is needed to install the second hard disk ? Error when running simulation with SIT 2010 on a cRIO 9073, what do I need to install on the cRio?

I am trying to run a simulink model on a cRio 9073 using SIT 2010. I succesfully created the FPGA vi and the lvbit file in order to map input/outputs to the model. I also created the DLL and OUT for the model.
When I run the interface VI on my computer, everything seems OK, until I get the following error and I am not able to run the simulation. I found a similar post earlier that suggests that I need to install the shared variable engine or the Simulation Interface Toolkit on my cRio. I tried to do both using MAX but could not find neither of the suggested installations.

Este tipo de error suena suele ocurrir cuando no se tienen las librerías apropiadas instaladas en el cRIO. Te recomendaría que abrieras MAX, debajo de la pestaña de Remote Systems selecciones tu dispositivo>> software, click derecho e instalar software. Aquí debes asegurarte que las librerías que te faltan estén instaladas en el cRIO. En Custom Installation selecciona SIT como opción para instalar en el cRIO tal y como se muestra en las imagenes.

Now I have to do a new universe that points to a new DB2 v9.7 data warehouse.

Hello,
you have to install the DB2 Client on your BO Server. Please install the 32Bit Version ob the Client. After the Installation you have to cataloge your DB2 Database(s).
Also you have to install the DB2 Client on your Development PC where you develope your DB2 based Universes.
