What do I need to multitrack? I have Adobe Audition 1.5

What do I need to multitrack. I can't seem to get any answer other than through a USB. I had a bad experience with USB (M-Auidio fast track) and I don't have firewire. I am using a Dell inspiron 1200 with an Auidigy 2 ZS (notebook) and Adobe Audition. From what I understand This soundcard has a S/PDIF in? It shows up on my play control as one of the options. Do I need a specific interface or mixer or can I use any mixer? Right now I am using my mixer as well as others (when recording live performances) and I am using the tape/record-out to go from the mixer into my optical in. It requires a cable with the white and red to a standard 1/8 inch jack. What do I have to do in order to multitrack. There has to be something other than USB or firewire. Please help me with this questions. I can't seem to get answers anywhere.

Multipurpose input, used for analog line-level input, mono microphone input, or optical SPDIF, for 3.50 mm (1/8-inch) connectors and a Speaker docking cable connector
So, you can record two analog mono signals or one mono microphone or through one S/PDIF at once.
There are, as CardBus/PCMCIA devices, two Creative/E-MU models available; 1616 and 1616M, which both do have some more I/Os vs. A2 ZS Notebook but, those device are not cheap ones as SB line cards normally are.
I recommend FireWire device. There are cheap but good ones like Hercules FW 16/12 (16 inputs/12 outputs) under 300US$ (retail price ~800US$), and cheapest one might be a device from Behringer; FCA-202 which street price is under 100US$.
E-MU launches a nice USB device 0404 soon (if not yet out) which seem to have quite good technical specs and even ~low price --> ~200US$.

At the top of the box it should say Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.
On each of the two machines, what does it say? (I think something odd has happened)

I am writing about our PowerPC G5 (2x1.8 GHz, 1.5Go DDR SDRAM).
When we bought the computer we didn't have bluetooth board (card) installed.
Does Apple supply a board to install in this MAC computer so that Bluetooth is ?
A shop mentioned a "Apple Bluetooth enabling USB key": does this exist ?
Do I need a special antenna to plug in the back of the Mac computer like the airport antenna ?
Where can I buy these in France or on internet ? What are the correct references please ?

They probably meant a USB Bluetooth Adapter.
The only one officially recommended and supported by Apple is the D-Link DBT-120:

Not all third-party USB Bluetooth Adapters are fully Mac compatible, so be sure to check if you don't get a D-Link DBT-120.

I updated my website by doing some basic editing. Upon completion of the editing I checked out the website on IE and Safari and Firefox to make sure the changes looked the way I wanted them. On IE and Safari everything was fine, however, on Firefox the browser did not show my website it showed the basic HTML document. I am thinking there must be some code that Firefox got hung up on, but I have no idea how to figure out what firefox does not like and still keep the other browsers happy.

What do I need to do to have my iTunes run on any operating system from my external hard drive?

I've already moved everything from my computer to my external hard drive, but for some reason I'm having a hard time being able to open the iTunes program every time I'm trying to open it on a different computer. I'm having to continuously uninstall and reinstall to be able to use it. I use my computer at home mostly but i also use my friends computer, and sometimes computers at school. No, no, no... that is extremely bad advice.
Programs get installed on the main drive of the computer. Never install a program on a removable drive unless that program has been specificially designed to run on a removable drive.
Install iTunes on the computer as you normally would.
Once installed, hold SHIFT and launch iTunes.
When prompted select the option to point iTunes to an existed library.
Then point iTunes to the external drive.

Gmail email does not load into iCloud. Only your @me.com iCloud email will load into iCloud.

But as Adobe have never managed to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices, and they have recently announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it doesn't look like it will ever be supported on the iPad.

Need help with x-fi / adobe audition monitoring / input issue

Hi all - I've been desperately trying to fix this issue for a long time now. This is the first computer problem that has really got me stumped since, well, since forever. I've searched all over and seen a few tidbits about this issue but I couldn't find anything that could help me actually solve my problem.
The issue is that when I record in audition through the x-fi, as I record a second separate track, whatever I'm monitoring from any other tracks gets recorded onto the second track along with the new recording.
I've found threads saying it's an issue with the mixer, however I'm trying to figure out the audio creation mode in the console launcher and I am absolutely unable to figure out how to be able to monitor track 1 while not having it get recorded to track two. I went through basically each strip and muted/unmuted to see what would happen and nothing ever worked. I also know that it indeed is recording the monitor, as overlaid (not printed) effects are copied to the new track.
I'm using vista, with the following drivers for the x-fi and asio4all.

This may not help, because I've not used ASIO personally, and I'm not as sure of the SBX-Fi's internals, but CL has tended to design cards which have recording taps at each input and at the output of the card. Thus the hardware has supported (dry) recording of individual sources, unmixed, or the mixed output of the card. The Surround Mixer only provides for recording one source, and gives a menu of each source, plus a "What You Hear" source which is actually the (wet) mixed output. You probably only need to figure out how to set things to record a specific source while auditioning the mixed output, and there's probably a way to do that.
