What do I need to print from an IPad 1st Generation with 3G?
I am looking for information on how to find and set up a printer for our grandparents IPad 3G (through AT&T) 1st Generation. They currently use the IPad to search the web but are looking to print out receipts for purchases, etc... They do not have a computer or wireless network in their house nor will they in the future. I am looking for an easy (not too expensive) printer and any know-how to help me with this project. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Your printer is not in the list therefore no AirPrint available. Your printer does not support ePrint therefore you can use Home & Biz apps. Have you downloaded apps to your iPad yet ? If yes, please try:

Press and hold the HP ePrint Home & Biz app until it starts to move around.
Press the red 'X' on the app to end its process.

We have a Kyocera office copier/printer in the office and I really need to print from my iPad. Is there any way I could print from that? Currently I have to email to myself then print from my laptop ( not cool) I might as well do the work on my laptop.

About everything operates on the presumption that the printer and the iPad be on the same wireless network.
What you might look into is investigating some program that allows you to upload your document to the cloud, which will automatically download onto a computer hardwired to the printer and then print. I know my kodak printer has that ability using google docs (I never investigated it because I didn't need to print badly enough to get yet another online account)
But rigging up a local print server (which is what that hardwired computer would be) is likely the one thing that'll work in an office environment. and it's still contingent upon you having wifi or internet access to upload your document from your device to that computer.
I'd dig around on Kyocera's site to see if they have any solutions for your situation. I'm not sure if your printer is a more consumer grade or a professional grade, but ours at work, for example, can be set up to also be a scanner. I can put a document in the printer, scan it and have that scan e-mailed to me. So it could be possible that your printer may have the ability to have documents directly e-mailed to it. So digging through teh site or manual could reveal some options you may not even know your printer offers. -

Not sure what your question has to do with an Apple AirPort Express, Extreme or Time Capsule.
An AirPrint compatible printer will need to be installed on the wireless network there.

My new Hewlett Packard printer is listed as an AirPrinter on the Apple website, but when I try to print from my iPad it says that there are No airprinters. The printer is connected to the same WiFi network, is turned on & I'm close to the printer. Do I need to forma/set up the iPad or Printer to enable this feature?!

I cannot print from my ipad. It is connected to the wireless okay. I have only had this ipad for a month and while I am not sure I think it has been okay to print before 2 days ago, when I tried to print and I got the message "Airprinter not found" Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do about it? I can't print using airprint from my iPhone 4. Everything with the phone and the printer and router are up to date. I can print from my iPad 2 with no problems. What's wrong with the iPhone 4?
I just wanted to leave a note that it's working now. I'm not sure if it was the latest iTunes update that got it working or that i decided to start a new library instead of using the one i had backed up on Windows 8 (it didn't occur to me to check using the old library when i re-installed iTunes). But if anyone is having this problem, it might be worth trying again with a new installation of iTunes to see if the latest update works for you, and if not, try using a fresh library instead of a backup (by fresh library i mean discard your old library completely and start a new library, not just restore as new iPhone, a whole new library).
