What do I use to connect my PC to my TV?

I have a Toshiba Satellite L505. This computer has 2 USB Ports on one side and on the other side has a RGB Monitor Port, a Network Port and an eSATA/USB Combo Port. I would like to connect my laptop to my Toshiba TV that has a S-Video Port with the Yellow, White and Red Ports (which I believe to be the RCA Cable Ports, correct me if I'm wrong). Which Port on my computer do I use and what cable do I buy that will turn to a S-Video cable for my TV? Also is there anything else that I would be required to do or buy to finish this step so I could play my movies and or play my music through my TV? Thank you very much for your time.

Connecting an SVideo connection to a SVGA connection is.. troublesome, to say the very least. The chances of getting a good picture are nearly null, and even then, that's after using an expensive converter box. It's possible, but not something i'd really attempt, myself - and I know how to do it. I'd simply switch to a flat panel TV with a SVA port already built in.

Sorry, but you'll have to either wait for someone owning that equipment to show up or for someone to take the time and trouble to look it up and see what sort of connection options are provided on it. Or, if you want to perhaps move the process on a bit more quickly, and seeing as how you have it right there, you could always provide that info.

Depends on what input plug you'll be using on your TV. VGA, DVI, Composite or HDMI. You'll need a Mini-DVI adapter and a cable from that to your TV. If you connect the MacBook using a Mini-DVI to HDMI adapter you will probably need to use external speakers or a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack to RCA sound plugs connected to a stereo system for audio if your TV doesn't have separate RCA or 3.5mm input plugs for audio with the HDMI plug. The Mini-DVI to HDMI doesn't carry audio and there're no audio plugs on most TVs to work with HDMI since it's expecting audio with the HDMI.

I read that the most efficient method for large amount of data is to use SAP ABAP call using SAP R/3 Data flow. We can create ABAP program from DS and load in SAP system. We want to know what rapidmarts are using. I don't think rapidmart is using ABAP method to connect SAP R/3 and get data.

LaCie TB HUB has two TB ports which is good for daisy chain. Has two esata ports also. I connect a Voyager bought from OWC to one sata port and that's where my bare 2.5 and 3.5 hard drives reside when I need them. The other sta port has a Pioneer 207 blu ray drive. When I sleep my 2013 Mac Pro I turn off the power to the Voyager and the Pioneer. All work flawlessly.

What can be used to connect Panasonic Full HD SD/SDHC Camcorder to the iPod

I am thinking of buying the Panasonic Full HD SD/SDHC Camcorder which uses the new SDHC/SD Memory Card to store the movie clips. What I would like to know is there anything in the iPod accessories range, that I can connect to a Fifth Generation iPod so I can store all the clips from either the camcorder or the SDHC/SD Memory Card, so I can re-use the memory card. I understand that I will not be able view the moive clips on the iPod as the camcorder uses the AVCHD format.
All I want to do is use the iPod as a storage unit as I will be taking the camcorder on hoilday and I don't want to buy a lots of the 8Gb Memory cards nor take a portable hard drive with a card reader.

I tried to made a H.264 videoclip, with .MP4 extension, at 960x1080p side-by-side layout, but nothing was displayed, and black screen.
I think that just the AVCHD movies, with .MTS extension, that comes from Panasonic consumer camcorder "HDC-SDT750", can play the 3D videos via HDMI cable, not USB port.
But not the exported videos from PremierePro via USB port.

I have a DSL modem and Airport Extreme. Right now I am getting Internet with the cable plugged into "Ethernet" and is connected to my computer. If I want to connect my Airport Extreme to my computer, where do I plug in everything?

What computer do you want to connect by Airport, your iMac listed in your profile (or as this is an Airport for Windows forum) a Windows PC?

What cable should I use to connect an old iBook G4 to a MacBook Pro in order to transfer files?

I'd like to transfer files from the iBook G4 to my new MacBook Pro. However, I'm not a "pro" at using a computer and I'm not even sure what cable to use to connect the two laptops. I welcome your suggestions!

The Y is FireWire and the MBP has a FW800 port. On the iBook you should find a FW400 port shaped like an arrow (see below, left pic). So for speediest transfer, you need a Firewire 400 to Firewire800 cable that will allow you to plug both Macs together (right pic).
Once you have gotten that, place the IBook in Target Disk Mode (see here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661 ) and connect both with the cable. The iBook's hard disk drive will appear on the MacBook's desktop. You can either drag stuff across or use the Migration Assistant found in Utilities to ensure applications get transferred correctly.

What's the difference between using a connection pool and a datasource

Howdy. I figure this is a newbie question, but I can't seem to find an
answer.
In the docs at bea, the datasource docs say
"DataSource objects provide a way for JDBC clients to obtain a DBMS
connection. A DataSource is an interface between the client program and the
connection pool. Each data source requires a separate DataSource object,
which may be implemented as a DataSource class that supports either
connection pooling or distributed transactions."
In there it says the datasource uses the connection pool, but other than
that, what is the difference between a connection pool and a datasource?

I've tried safari, chrome, firefox...I've cleared the cache as well. This has been going on for several months and used to be tolerable as it was not every website. Now it has become every website and is impossible to deal with. My roommates computer and my cell phone connect fine. I'm fully connected to the router yet websites don't load. I'm using 10.7.5. Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
