What do to when i've lose my ipod touch?
i lost my ipod touch a while ago and only just realised that it's under guarantee,is there any way of finding it,or exchanging it or something like that?
What guarantee do you have that covers theft or loss? If you're talking about AppleCare, that is not covered.
File a report with your local police. If you're lucky, it will turn up and eventually be returned to you.
Generally speaking, though, if you lost your iPod Touch and did not have Find My iPhone or some other tracking service active on it, it's gone. It's best to put it behind you and, if you need such a device, purchase a replacement.

when i plug in my ipod touch it goes to the battery witht he bolt under it the goes to the apple logo screen and after a while it will flash white like its trying to go to the lock screen but just restarts and restarts the process and keeps doing it. What should i do? Is there any way to fix it?

I see there is no way to change the security questions i set up when I first purchased my ipod touch. All the answers I get do not work. Can't by another device until I get around this issue.

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

Why does the new Itunes freeze when i click on my Ipod touch icon to manage my content? All buttones, video, tv, info, music, they all do nothing. i was only able to sync by bringing up the old sidebar. Is this a software glitch, or am i missing a step? I just spent two days reorganizing and labeling all my music for the new itunes, and had to restore my ipod so i could upload my new library. i know what is supposed to come up when you click on the music or info tabs, but nothing happens, only the eject button works. whats going on?
The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to your computer with iTunes with the USB connector. iTunes should open and give you instructions as to what to do. Whatyou need to need to do is to restore the iPod via iTunes.

When I plug in my iPod touch 5th generation the small battery in the top right hand corner shows the charged sign. The big battery that shows up in the middle still shows it is charging. I've already been 2 the apple store & it didn't help any. Any ideas?
She restarted it or something. I don't know the exact process but she said don't worry the only thing you'll lose is your background. But I took a picture of the screen when it is charging so I have proof

Hey Hallmarie, leave it turned off, do not attempt to charge or use. Place it in a sealed back of uncooked rice for at least 7 days, change the rice ever couple of days and hope for the best. After it has dried attempt to turn your iPod on. You may need to charge for 30 minutes, keep a close eye on it during this charge, if you hear noises, crackling, popping or hissing, or something smells like burning rubber or plastic, or you see smoke or it get very hot, unplug your iPod ASAP! and do not use; all signs your fried it. You may need to Reset or Restore or use DFU recovery mode to get it work, and when your all done this iPod may never work again. But for a couple of bucks worth of rice... worth a try. If you do get it to work the first thing you want to do is make a full set of backups, no telling how long it will work. Hope this helps, but be prepared to buy an out of warranty replacement.
