What do you do if your Mac Book video card does not meet the Minimum requriements ???
What if your Mac Books video card does not meet the minimum system requirements
Just for the record it was an Early 2008 iMac 20" (MB324LL/A) with the ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB of GDDR3 memory in it.
Not sure why or how but overnight the system has decided to try and run the update again and this time it has updated all the apps.
The machine is running the apps fine and there are no real issues with the performance (other than the fact its over 5 years old, but thats understandable).
Im going to put it down to either a minor glitch in the update that was corrected fairly fast or just a hiccup from an old machine.
Thansk for the responces anyhow guys.

After installing Mavericks on my 2008 Mac Pro (10GBRAM, several HDs, 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon) Software updater says there is an update available. iMovie Apple Version 10.0 Released Oct 22, 2013.
So I click the UPDATE button
Software Updater puts up a dialog that says "Your computer’s video card does not meet the minimum system requirements".
I have ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB. What card SHOULD I have?
Thanks. It is a easy fix to this problem.
I have this video card
iMac 24 inch, early 2008.
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB .
This is what you do.
1. open app store.
2.go to the update tab.
Yuo will see the imovie icon waiting to install.
3.clic the sub menu tab and select "try apdate in an hour" option from the sub menu.
4.leave the app store window open and came back in an 1hr .
Like magic you will see the imovie app being upgrade it in the lunch pad .

When I try to update my iMovie to be Maverick compatible, this is what I get " Your computer’s video card does not meet the minimum system requirements." Any suggestions? Thanks
I have a Mac Pro earley 2008 with 16gb ram and the original ATI Radeon 2600 XT 256mb ram card.
After searching everywhere and finding no helpful info I just went to amazon and serched video cards for Mac Pro. The Asus HD 6450 silent and others came up. They all show PC compatibatily but since Mac is now PC structure I think allmost any card will work that is PCI-e.
I purchased the Asus HD 6450 for $39.00 with $10 rebate and it worked great, ( plug and play ).
My startup is way faster than before and graphics are way better.
The DVI works great with my Viewsonic and if you need to connect more than one monitor the DVI and VGA are secondary. If your main monitor is HDMI than you will have no problems using more than 2 screens in sharing mode.

It is just as the message says. Your video card is not compatible.
You can add a compatible graphics card and use FCP X with your mac. I can't suggest which one, but maybe other people on this forum can guide.
And you may also get good suggestions in the Mac Pro forum. -
imovie: I have just downloaded 'mavericks' and have installed all updates. I get an error message:Your computer’s video card does not meet the minimum system requirements. What to do? Thanks for any help in advance.
I am not 100% sure this is the issue, but I saw a different thread about the ATI Radeon HD 2600 not being OpenCL compatible for another program and that a newer compatible graphics card would be required to solve the problem. I am getting the same message with my 2007 iMac 24".

Your computer's video card does not meet the minimum system requirements.
I have tried to reload Final Cut Pro X after reformatting my iMac. I have upgraded the momory as described but now my video card is not compatable.
The iMac is an older Mac (2008) with 10.9.3 loaded.
any help on how to reinstall older versions of Final Cut would be great!
ThanksI have heard that if you return your Mac's OS to Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.8) you may be able to download FCP X 10.0.9 from the App Store. You don't need to reinstall SL for the whole system . . . . make a small, say 20GB, partition using Disk Utility and install SL on that.
Otherwise for FCP X 10.1.1 you will have to get hold of a more modern Mac to do the download and then copy the app across.
I'm assuming that previously FCP X has worked on this computer? -
I have a Mac that's about 7 years old
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
The most recent Final Cut Pro X and Motion versions are not compatible with some video cards, and the video card of your iMac is one of them, so you cannot update Motion and you have to stay with the version you have. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4664 -
My iMac has OS X 10.9, graphic card ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 Mo.
Where could I find "the minimum system requirements" for iMovie.
ThanksTake a look at this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6023

How do you create an Apple ID for a student who does not meet the "minimum age" requirements?
A parent/guardian has to create it and supervise its use.

I'm trying to download the trial version of Adobe Illustrator. An error message says that the OS does not meet the minimum system requirements for the installer. 10.6.0 is the minimum required for installation. How do I get my mac to be a 10.6.0 ? Right now I have a 10.5.8 is there a way to upgrade or something?
Buy the Snow Leopard retail installer (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDAzOA).
That will take you to 10.6.3.
If required you can then use the combo updater to get to the latest version, 10.6.8 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399)

Your system does not meet the minimum requirement for this update (9996)
Hi
recently had to reformat my system with windows 7 profesional. All windows updates where performed and all the drivers where installed correctly except the ethernet driver. windows 7 cannot find a suitable driver. I then downloaded the driver from the link provided on the hpe-590t download site, which is described as a intel gigabyte driver sp52222, however the software driver comes up with the following message your system does not meet the minimum requirement for this update (9996). Has anyone had a similar problem.
Hardware Ids are:

I tend to agree that either the NIC is bad or possiblly a factory restore would help.

I have installed FCPX on my iMac (mid 2007) with a video ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB. This does not meet the minimum requirements. It seems to be ok but what kind of problems can I expect ?

I have run things that are unsupported too (like 10.3 Panther on a Wallstreet Powerbook, anyone remember those? )
Hey Luis. I not only remember…I still have mine (OS 9)! Works perfectly well…for some things; just need to be selective about what I ask it to do. (Also have its big brother Pismo running Tiger, which is still an extremely competent machine.) When I take them out of their cases, I'm still amazed at the G3's build quality.

need to access to process company payrollIs this the complete message that your are seeing? https://easynet.adp.com/net5/badBrowser.html
If so, read the second paragraph. They may only support IE; if so, that is ADPs choice.
Have you contacted "your ADP service center" per the message that you posted under More Information?
You '''''may''''' be able to access the site using Firefox by opening IE in a Firefox tab using the following extension. For safety, using this extension or IE directly, you must have the most current version of IE for system and keep it updated.
