i am really annoyed because i just got a new iPod (my last one broke) now i am trying to restore it with all of my pictures from my last one but i forgot my iPod backup fil passowrd. It says you have to type in a password i have put in every thing i could think of but it is not working!! HELPP!

1) Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore

2) If necessary Place the Device into Recovery mode...

Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Once you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most Recent Backup...

Perhaps you mean how do you pair it to your machine. If it works as it should go into your mouse system preferences and click the "Set up bluetooth mouse" button.

I forgot my main user password and so then allowed someone on my laptop who accidently changed over into the guest user! Now I can't get back into my main user and I was wondering if anybody could either help me reset the password from the guest user or even reboot my laptop so the memory is wiped and I can set up my main user again. Restore, if iTunes will let you. Everything except the password will be restored. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. Be forewarned that it takes a long time. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.
