Got it sorted. AN e-mail to teh support centre got me three replies, two reasuring me that someone os working on it and the third giving me the information that the ID is enabled again and ready to use. All within 24h. Of course without any information as to why the problem came up in teh first place. At least it was swift action.

iTunes is updated and works fine and I am able to log onto my account. When I go to purchase a song, I get the error message "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I've tried different methods: changing passwords, making a new account with another email address, and emailing itunes tech support. I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing the same issue. When I googled the error, it seemed like it was happening extremely often with many people.
We all love their products, but they always come with a lot of issues and horrible customer support.

I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. Hi everyone!
I tried to update a few apps from my iPhone, and to install new applications from APPSTORE. But i got a message :" Your Apple ID has been disabled"!!!!!!
What can i do now? Can you help me please?
The same thing happend with my IPAD....
How can i do to function all this in the same way which was working till this problem appears.
I want to mention that i have 2 email adresses asociated with the same Apple ID.

Thanks a lot!Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it -

That won't help. You need to contact iTunes support so they can re-enable your account. They only work via email or live chat: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

I just got my iPhone 4 yesterday after having a Blackberry for 3 years. Everytime I try to download any type of application it keeps displaying "Your Apple ID has been disabled." Before activating my iPhone I downloaded the most recent iTunes. I even went back today I reset my password after some minor research made the suggestion. I sent an e-mail off to to Apple last night after their Apple tech was no help at all. He is the one that suggested the e-mail and that he could not help me. I am really frustrated at this point. I am hoping that someone will be able to help me out. I was extremely excited about getting my new iPhone 4 and now I am just over it! Help please!!!
