What do you suggest how to handle images?

Hello,
I would like to develop a book administration program in web dynpro but I have no clue how to handle the images. There are several points I would like to take care about. The frontend is wd4a and the backend is abap. There will also be an iPhone App that connects via WebServices that also need the data and the images.
What do you think is the best possibility to save the images?db via blob, file system, ...
Are there examples how to upload the images via web dynpro and transfer it to the backend?

Hello,
I'd echo Neil's thoughts - definitely store your images in tables as they are transactional data. Creating a DB table with variable length data isn't difficult - just specify the datatype as rawstring.
You can then easily read from the db and serve these images in image UI elements, I'm guessing the row repeater UI element is going to be very useful for you.

The first thing I would suggest is to start using the "Dialog Control"
controls for your front panel. This set of controls pick up their style
from the operating system, so they will match the rest of the system
applicaitons.
Another thing is limit the use of color on the front panel. One persons
idea of a nice shade of blue can be another person eyesore. Instead,
use the decorations for grouping of controls.
I would stay away from ActiveX. It's interface is quirky at best and there is a lot of overhead involved.
Just to show it's possible, the attached images are screen shots of
user interfaces I've designed with LabVIEW. The first two use the
Dialog Controls, and the third uses standard controls and color at the
customers request.

I inherited this app and signing the third party jars is how it was setup, I was wondering the same thing too, why was it necessary to sign the third party jars?
The applet runs in either JRE 1.6.0_13 or JRE 1.6.0_27 depending on the other Java apps the user uses. JRE 1.6.0_13 does not have the mixed code security (so it is like is disable), but JRE 1.6.0_27 does have the mixed code security and the applet will not launch with mixed code security enable, so we have to disable it. With all the hacking going on in the last two years, is important to improve security; so this is a must.

I would suggest checking out http://www.logiforms.com. They have really good PDF support for both hosted PDF's and generating PDFs. You can:
populate PDF forms from a web form submission
Merge multiple PDF's together using conditional logic
Include uploaded images in the generated PDF
Get Electronic signatures on PDF's
Use conditional logic when creating PDF's
Convert HTML to PDF. You design in HTML and CSS and use form field wildcards and generate the PDF

Does the regular Firefox 8 release version work or does the version crash as well?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

Go to spro->MM->purchasing->PO->Define screen out at document -> select NBF ->Reference data, header->set field Reference, salesperson etc. as mandatory.

I installed the update Mavericks operating system and after that I lost iphoto and imovie. Because an application that I had already gone and is being charged in the App Store. this is absurd. I can not pay for a program that already had! What would you suggest me!

Typically desktop PC's do not have speakers unless they are external. So unless there were speakers in the box, then you have correct assumption. I had another with the same question and unless the monitor has speakers, then external speakers are required.
On the other question, it would seem that installing Windows 7 may not void the warrenty, as HP does not support the OS, other than providing it.

I had the same question. I'm wanting PS to work with my LR that I've had prior to the CC and I'm on Lightroom 5. It seems silly to pay $10/mo for both PS/LR when I have Lightroom. So there is no a la carte on PS and it will only seem less dumb once LR 6 comes out?
On another note if I go with the $10/mo for both, does my current Catalog remain in its location and it will then work seamlessly with the CC?
