WHAT DO YOU WHEN YOU CANT UNLOCK YOUR IPOD

What do you do when you can not unlock your ipod?

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes.  You may have to place the iPod in recovery mode to restore it.  For recovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
More information as to the current status of the iPod and what you tried would have been useful.

You won't be able to change it until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to update your rescue email address for potential future use.

    For how to restore:
iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
    iOS: How to back up
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes.

  • What do you do if your ipod shattered

What do you do if your ipod shattered?

Not for free. If by "shattered" you just mean the screen, Apple will replace your iPod for their standard fee:
    http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/faq/
If, however, by "shattered" you mean that the iPod is in multiple pieces, then Aple can do nothing for you. You'll have to buy a new iPod.
    Regards.

  • What can you do if your ipod touch screen is broke.

First off i would have hoped you said yes to the person who you bought the ipod touch from to get your 2 year insurance. This would cost around $20 - $35.  I also hope you added the one year insurance too. The 2 year insurance is for your ipod if any gadgets goes wrong. The one year insurance is a totaly different insurance but would help you out with your wallet. This insurance covers your ipod if you drop it any way and crack or break the screen. If you have this insurance you will b covered for a new ipod touch for no cost at all. All you would have to do is send it in with everything it had came with, your reciept, and other numbers to prove you had purchased it. They will re-imburse you with the ammount you had paid for it. Not including the insurance money, just the ipod touch. You then can go take that money and purchase a new ipod touch. But the one thing that is a downer is that not only your 1 year insurance is worthless your 2 year insurance is worthelss. When and if you do purchase another ipod you will have to re-buy the insurance if youd like to.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • What if you dont have your ipod shuffle 3rd gen's reciept to get your earphones replaced?

Im in need of replacing my earphones because the right side is broken and part of the wire is showing and it seems dangerous

You shouldn't need the receipt.  They should be able to look up your iPod's warranty status using the Shuffle's unique serial #.

  • TS1372 what does it mean when you cant restore your ipod nano and it gives you the code 1433 ?

How do i fix it ?

Some users have been able to resolve this issue by simply closing iTunes and re-opening it.  It might even be necessary to reboot your PC.
Otherwise, reset the Nano with it still connected to a high powered USB 2.0 port on your PC and then try to restore it again.

  • What do you do if your iPod touch got stolen in school when you left it in the office?

Please help me about my iPod

    lost/stolen
No app on the iPod is required.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police and school
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
