What documents are posted in FI systems from MM/EBP

hi friends
If we are using Taxware for tax calculation then do we need to use FI also as backend. What is the use of FI in backend and what documents are posted in FI system
Regards
vinny

Hi
Irrespective of the technical scenario you are using, you should have a back end to handle your accounting documents. As SRM system does not support  accounting, all the accounting documents will be posted to the back end. It need not be SAP R/3, you can have any other accounting package for this.
Thanks
Sri.

  • EDI documents are posted to SAP with BAPI  ...How?

how is that EDI documents are posted to SAP with BAPI....is there some step by step doc to do that.....

    Hi,
There are couple of EDI subsystems like Meractor from where you can fire a BAPI to post a document into our SAP system.
First the EDI subsystem receives the EDI document and from there are going to fill all the internal tables of the BAPI and call that BAPI from the EDI subsystem itself, if the BAPI is successfully executed then it will return the document number and if it fails then it will throw the error why it has failed.
If it has failed then the EDI team will look into the reason and work on it, if it is a data related then they will take care and it is a problem with the config then they are going to intimate the SAP team to make the necessary config and they will refire the BAPI again.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh.

  • Can I upgrade the processor on my laptop? If so, what processors are compatible for my system?

I have an HP Pavillion dv6-2150us, which runs an Intel Core i3 @ 2.13 GHz, 8 GB RAM and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.  Can I upgrade this processor and if so, what processors are compatible to this system?

First think about memory and an SSD drive. Laptop processor upgrades are a big hassle and not cheap.

  • Documents are not uploading to iCloud from Pages

All software is up to date.  On OSX 10.9.1 I am only having this issue on my MBP.  Documents are uploading to iCloud from my phone just fine.  I had edited a document and it continues to just say "Waiting" and doesnt upload any changes.  I also started a new document and saved it but it will not upload to iCloud, so I can not access it on the phone.  I am not sure if this is a glitch from the most current Pages update.  Is anyone else having this issue?  Is there a fix for this issue?

Unfortunately neither of those options work.  Last thing I did was reinstall Pages and it is exactly the same.  Unfortunately now it will not appear in the Launchpad and I have to keep it in my dock.  Having such a horrible day with this.  I do not understand why Apple charges us so much for their hardware and then forces us to use things like iCloud, because they restrict the full benefits of things like Dropbox or Skydrive, when they cant have it working properly.  I have read other posts on here with similar issues or even worse off.
I greatly appreciate your help Winston.  I think I will have to contact Apple now, I am just hoping it ends up being a simple fix.

  • What triggers idoc posting in outbound message from sap ?

Do change or create events can be used to trigger Posting to IDOC? Have any body used idoc for outbound message sending from SAP?

    Hi Reddy,
    Posting IDoc Packets
Two groups of function modules are used to post IDocs:
    · Function modules which process IDocs in mass. These transfer packets of IDocs for which individual IDocs are updated in the same Logical Unit of Work (LUW).
    · Function modules which process one IDoc per call.
    · INPUTTYP contains the code for posting function modules.
To display the function module's INPUTTYP on the ALE Development screen, choose IDoc ® Inbound Processing ® Function Module® Maintain Attributes (BD51).
INPUTTYP can contain the following values:
    · "0", for function modules which process IDocs in packets.
"1" and "2" for function modules which process one IDoc per call:
If you post the IDocs immediately, the SAP sending system determines the packet size. ALE inbound processing can recognize if the posting function module allows packet processing and if so, passes the IDoc packet to it. If not, the IDoc packet is split into individual IDocs.
If IDocs are posted in the background, you can specify the size of the IDocs to be generated in the program RBDAPP01.
If you use function modules that can process IDocs in mass, the database load is reduced.
If you group IDocs into packets, this may also be practical for function modules that post inbound IDocs one at a time, because the ALE layer calls the function module several times in the same dialog process, thereby reducing the administrative load on the SAP system.
If program RBDAPP01 carries out the background processing, as a guide, you should use a packet size of between 20 and 100 IDocs.
Packet processing and parallelism complement one another. Packet processing and parallelism complement each other, although in some situations they may compete with each other. If the size of the packet is too big, this may mean that not all the available dialog processes are being used.
    Scheduling IDoc Posting
There are two ways of posting IDocs in ALE inbound processing:
    ·        Immediate processing:
Upon receipt inbound IDocs are immediately released for posting. ALE inbound processing splits the IDoc packets into individual IDocs.
    ·        Background processing
Inbound IDocs and IDoc packets are first saved in the database. IDoc packets are split into single IDocs beforehand.
The program RBDAPP01 later releases the saved IDocs for processing. Single IDocs can be put into packets and then processed.
    Perform the following steps:
    1.       Set-up background processing (IDoc/ALE area menu):
    IDoc Interface/ALE ® Administration ® Runtime Settings ® Partner Profiles (WE20)
Then the required setting is: In the detail screen Inbound Parameters select the option Trigger by background program.
    2.       Schedule posting (ALE customizing):
    Transaction SALE ® Set-Up System Monitoring ®
Posting IDocs in Recipient System ®Schedule
You can also process the IDocs manually by passing them to the posting function module.  In ALE Administration choose Monitoring ®Status Monitor (BD87), select the IDocs and then select Process.
    Regards,
    Kumar.

  • Sale process flow of SBO E-Commerce - What documents are created in SAP B1?

    Dear All,
Can any one please confirm the sale process flow of SBO E-Commerce, when a customer submits an Sales Order and pays the amount online?
I am mainly interested to know about the documents, which are created in SAP B1 after the said Payment against the Order through the Web tools?

As I understand it, out of the box WebTools simply creates a B1 Sales Order from a WebTools order during the scheduled synchronization.
If you are accepting credit card payments and have configured a credit card gateway (Paypal, Skipjack, etc), then you can choose to authorise the payment only for capture later or capture the payment immediately at the time of order. Neither of these events creates any document in SAP B1. You process the order as normal and post a payment manually as part of your workflow.
If you have a credit card add-on (CitiXSys or similar) installed and specified in the WebTools Synch Manager, the normal SAP B1 processing of the Sales Order (creating a delivery document)  will trigger the capture of a previously authorised credit card payment, creating and posting an A/R invoice and an associated payment document in B1.
Hope this helps you in your question.
    Cheers,
    Dave Bragg

  • How to find out what iviews are using a particular system

    EP NW2004 SP 17
We are trying to see which iviews are associated with a particular system.  I've tried using Content Admin -> Multiiple property Replacement.  I add our corporate folder to the 'Selected Objects' -> click next.  I then select 'iview' then 'system'.  I then select radio button 'search objects by property value' and enter current value of the system in quest and new value with the same system in question.   I get like 1,400 hits and the list can not be displayed.
    Thanks in advance
    -- Steve

    Hi,
this was a really good idea. Since the list is so big, I could think of one other very simple way. Why don't you try to export the complete PCD content as a XML (via the [XML Content and Actions|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/93/28f999daa6434a845da6bf9ab5072c/frameset.htm].) In the resulting file you should also be able to search for the system alias and from there get the iView (with the complete PCD path).
Of course there is certainly a way to develop some code which can do the same for you.
    Regards,
    Holger.

  • Why not all billing documents are posted to CO-PA for condition types?

    Hello!
    I have following problem.
In transaction KE4I I have configured several condition types to post for specific value fields.
For some billing types it works but for some doesn't work.
For all domestic invoices it works but for abroad invoices it doesn't work.
Billing documents for abroad invoices are also posted to CO-PA but for another value fields, not for that I expect.
    Where is problem?
    I am waiting for help.
    Best regards
    Bogdan

    Hi.
In both pricing procedures there are same condition types. The only difference was check box "Condition is used for statistics".
After marking this check box it still doesn't work.
There are placed the same condition types in all billing documents (domestic and abroad) . So I am supprised that for domestic billing documents field value in CO-PA is calculated for condition types placed in KE4I.
But for abroad billing documents the same field value is not calculated for the same condition types placed in  KE4I.
    Where is a problem?
    I need help.
    Best regards
    Bogdan

  • What table are event details stored apart from SWEQUEUE

    Hi
SWEQUEUE contains the event details for the events that have not been successfully sent outside, or completed.
Is there any table where the successful event details are saved, as we need to identify daily which event IDs were successful and which were not. Using SWEQADM is not suitable as there are admin access issues which cannot be worked around.
    Thanks.

Logging for delivered events is a configurable parameter within transaction SWEQADM, it's a checkbox on the 'Activation' tab with name 'Delete event after delivery' - if it's not checked, your events will be stored after delivery.  If people are having trouble accessing the transaction for whatever reason, you can check the value of the event deletion checkbox in table 'SWEQADM', field 'DEL_EVENT.'
For information, if your delivered events are being stored, you'll also be able to see them in the 'SWEQUEUE' table - a delivered event will have the field 'DELIVERED' equal to 'X.'
It's also worth noting that you may have more granular information on event delivery available if the event trace is switched on (transaction 'SWELS').  Event trace information (viewable in transaction 'SWEL') will advise you of when the event was delivered, who caused the event to be delivered, the event key, and whether any workflows resulted from the delivery of the event.  In addition, if there's any check function modules activated for the event, then it'll tell you whether it made it through the check FM, and also whether any other general event delivery errors occured.  It'll also tell you about events that haven't yet being delivered.
SAP advise not turn it on in production however (only in development and test systems), due to a detriment in performance, so you might find that it's not turned on in production.  Still, that said, I find it an incredibly powerful tool for a quick turnaround on workflow issue resolution - you can turn it on for new environments, and then turn it off when the system becomes stable.
    Thanks,
    JJ

  • What problems are associated with an upgrade from Tiger to Snow Leopard?

    Hi folks.
Is it possible to upgrade directly from Tiger to Snow Leopard, without having to buy Leopard? I've seen many answers around the web, many of them conflicting. There appear to be possible associated problems if you bypass Leopard. But as I'm not certain that what I read is correct I thought I'd come straight to the Community and ask.
    Thanks in advance.
(Only reason I'm asking is I persuaded my mother to buy her first Mac (second hand) and it has Tiger loaded onto it. I'd like her to have a more up to date software.)

The computer has to be an Intel Mac.
The basic requirements for Snow Leopard are as follows:
An Apple computer with an Intel Processor
    1GB of Memory (RAM)
5GB of hard drive space (Storage)
    DVD drive for installation
You can go directly from Tiger to Snow.
Possible problems: make sure the current third party Tiger apps will be compatible. 1 GB RAM is bare bones. You want more than that.
Before upgrading make sure you have the current Mac configuration backed up completely. Use a cloning program like Carbon Copy Cloner to make a bootable clone on an external drive.

  • HT5527 How can I find a list of what documents are stored on I-cloud?

Is there a way to list documents stored on I-cloud?
I want to delete any documents or transfer them to computer.
In other words, "Is there a directory of I-cloud documents?"

What I am looking for is a way to sort where Pages (eg) files were stored on the I-Cloud vs on desktop or in another folder.
Everything is obvious to sort except for I-Cloud.
It is way too tedious to open each document

  • What ports are required to run facetime from iPad2 ?

My iPad 2 works fine, but trying to use Facetime with an iPhone in or outside the house fails with no error message.
This seems to do with ports of a firewall, but don't know the adequate details.

Try it locally on the server itself.
You just need to create a shared directory backup oon the server on C:\ drive.
    \\127.0.0.1\C$\backup
    This should work.
