What does 0TCTSTEPCNT have to do with 0TCTQUCOUNT?

I am writing a query to get the number of times a query has been run.
I was using 0TCTQUCOUNT to determine this.
I then had a look at the numbers and they seemed very high for some queries.
I investigated the cube (0TCT_C01) and discovered that 0TCTQUCOUNT was appearing mutliple times for a single front end session. This appeared to be because 0TCTSTEPCNT will trigger this value many times for a single session.
My question is, to get an accurate count of how many times a query has run, what do I have to filter on 0TCTSTEPCNT?
Also, since there are no descriptions for the master data associated with 0TCTSTEPCNT, does anyone have an idea on what the various step values represent?
Thank you for your help in advance.

Hi,
Have you thought about filter on both session id and query counter? or it's also possible for you to go to transaction st03n BW profile to get the times for query execution in a specified time range.
Best regards,
Matt.

You need to remove your phone number from the iMessage system.

  • What's ksmserver and what does it have to do with Dolphin in sudo mode

I was building my own repo for KDEmod but now have decided to delete them as I and KDEmod didn't need them anymore...
So I started dolphin as root to delete the chmod system for build.
And I got the Xerror that ksmserver is missing and I have to check the installation.
But I can't find any package named like that nor I have nay idea in which package this would be...
BTW: I was building repos for learning, I'm not a KDEmod package maintainer. So no worries, those guys probably know what they're doing but not me .

Same problem here, whenever I try to run an app as sudo, I get that error and my X server is restarted, but, I have not touched anything, I wasn't building repos or anything related.
Have you managed to solve it?
EDIT: I have solved it by running the app using kdesu appname, it doesn't crash anymore and works at 110%. So problem solved at least for me.

  • What does SNR have to do with anythi

    Hi Everyone,
I'm just looking for a soundcard to record vocals into my computer, and I'm not sure if the SNR rate has anything to do with it. If I just get a basic 24-bit soundcard, will the SNR rate have any effect on the vocals I record? I don't care at all about DVD or MP3 playback, just the quality of recorded vocals. Can anyone tell me more about these SNR rates?
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Access Violation - What does Premiere have to do with it?

Okay this time I am getting an error on render which quits the render after a few frames.
Sometimes after this error if you don't press OK, After Effects will continue to render for a little while before actually stopping.
I think something benign fails and triggers an unnecessary "clean crash" (with an offer to safe the project and everything.)
Now I don't have Premiere open, nor did I import any Premiere project. From a human point of view, Premiere has nothing to do with it. Yet this is the message I'm seeing.
When I disable multiprocessing, everything goes as planned. Albeit slower.
The error is often followed by a "Pure virtual function call" message before quitting.

Ah, that makes sense. I think in this case it's the AVS Importer MediaCore plugin I have installed.
Since having a load of HDV camera captured mpeg2-ts files will make After Effects EXREMELY laggy*, I thought I'd DGindex the .m2t files and wrap them in an AviSynth script. This way, After Effects behaves normally. But aparently it doesn't like it anymore during render.
*) I was about to pull my brains out through my eyesocket because AE lagged for about 2 to 5 minutes randomly every 5 minutes, after every (auto)save and every n-th click. Then I had this great idea to monitor *every* action on my computer with some great tools from SysInternals, and I found that during every lag, AE was querying every .m2t footage item with the same info a few hundred times, followed by querying the same registry items a few hundred times. Maybe even thousand.
It's really really really stupid stupid stupid that's why I used the AviSynth.

  • What does Java3d have to help with 3d model rendering?

Well, basically i spent a few hours the other day writing a basic model rendering application, it uses the java.awt.Graphics class for the drawing and the java.awt.Canvas class for the main applet.
Now, it was a pretty hard project for me in my opinion as i have never attempted anything like it before, now, in using the awt Graphics class you have to work everything out yourself.
    For example;
You have your model, this has x, y and z vertices, then you have your faces, which are triangles which link up 3 of the vertices to make a face or skin for the model. After this you have your "camera" or "view point", this relates to the x, y and z rotations, offset (for zooming) and transitions of all of the above data, then after all this you can finally create the triangle or face by using the Polygon class and inputing the x, y and z point values.
Now, i want to know if Java 3d has any of the above stuff already there for you to take advantage of, for example also lighting effects, such as the ability to add shadows.
Ive already looked through the Java 3d tutorial pdf but i couldn't see anything that relates to creating your own model's, the only thing i saw were pre-programmed shapes such as cubes and other polygons.
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi ,
Java 3d has many effects ready , like shadows , raytrace and... .
I think you may have 5 issues ,
    1. Geometry and object models
    2. Lighting
    3. camera and rendering
    4. Sound
    5. Animation
for geometry , best solution is using modeling tools like 3D Studio Max , export model and import in your program.
for Lighting it has many light types , but 'm not good at using them ,
for camera it has lots of usefull stuff . even special rendering for 3dGlasses !
for Sound , as i know it supports 3d sound engine that renders your sound. ( I mean if your avator is close to sound source , sound is stronger , if source is left hand of avator , sound will apear in left speaker)

Hi I have the old photo shop elements 10 on my computer and want to update and was wondering what the differences between photoshop, lightroom and photoshop elements are?
Also when I upgrade does it have to be with a monthly membership or can I just purchase the product out right like you use to be able?

You cannot "update" from what you have to any of the applications you mention. It will have to be a straight purchase or subscription at full price.
Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.
Lightroom is all about volume, and very light editing.
The Photoshop Elements forum is at:
    https://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop_elements/content
Remember, you are not addressing Adobe here in the user forums.  You are requesting help from volunteers users just like you who give their time free of charge. No one has any obligation to answer your questions.
I do not know where there is such a comparison table as you seek, but someone else might, or you can google.

  • What does HTML have over PDFs when working with data?

I'm doing some research for a client whose company is moving from PDFs to HTML for their in-house user interfaces.
What does HTML have over PDFs when working with data?
    Thanks!
    Luke

PDFs can indeed work with data and can be programmed with javascript. You can do some pretty interesting things with it. It is even possible to create interactive forms on the web using PDF, however it requires server-side support. As a general rule, though, PDFs are terrible as a web interface and it's far easier to work with HTML and PHP.
HTML is lightweight and PDF isn't (in case that seems like a small thing, it's actually a big negative for PDFs). The success of your PDFs will depend on the versions of acrobat your users use, and getting data in and out of the PDFs will require learning far more about Acrobat's FDF format and XML implementation than you may want to know.

Question:  Do I need to run and anti virus program with MAC OSX Lion? Have heard different opinions! If so what would you recommend? Was looking at Sophos. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks

Do I need to run and anti virus program with MAC OSX Lion? Have heard different opinions!
You will continue to hear different opinions here, where thoughts range everywhere between "anti-virus software is the evil spawn of Satan" to "anyone not running anti-virus software is a fool."
Truth is, this is still a very personal decision on a Mac. Depending on circumstances, it is still very easily possible to stay safe without using anti-virus software, but circumstances and personal preferences vary widely. Besides which, anti-virus software cannot even remotely provide you a guarantee of protection!

Error: does not have program associated with it for performing this action

  • My cousin wants to get music off my Itunes but it won't let her, I already have 2 Ipods on my account. What does she have to do?

My cousin wants music off my Itunes. It won't let her though, and the music doesn't show in her Library, it shows her brothers music. What does she have to do to get my music.?

If they are running 10.6.1, they have not updated their computer in almost two years and regardless of iTunes, they really should update.
The posted system requirements have been flaky in the past. A few versions of iTunes required 10.4.11 or 10.5.6 or later. Don't kow if it would not work with 10.5.0 through 10.5.5 but the way it was worded, implied it would not but IIRC, it did actually work

  • What does a flashing folder icon with a "?" inside mean?

What does a flashing folder icon with a "?" inside mean?

Question (?) Mark, Blinking Folder, or Gray Screen at Startup
These are related but not identical issues. Their causes are outlined in Intel-based Mac- Startup sequence and error codes, symbols. Solutions may be found in:
A flashing question mark or globe appears when you start your Mac
Mac OS X- Gray screen appears during startup
In most cases the problems may be caused by one or more of these:
    a. Problem with the computer's PRAM - See Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM.
    b. Boot drive's directory has been corrupted - Repair with Disk Utility.
    c. Critical system files are damaged or deleted - Reinstall OS X.
    d. The disk drive is physically non-functional - Replace the hard drive.
Note that the information I have provided is what Apple recommends, If other users suggest different solutions than found here, then be sure what they recommend does not impact on your warranty, if any, or ability to get continuing Apple service.
Please don't start removing drives or changing cables unless you know what you are doing and have exhausted other non-invasive alternatives outlined here. If you perform any work yourself that is unapproved by Apple, then you will void any warranty you may have and lose all further Apple Support.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
The main difference if you are using Lion or Mountain Lion is that you must first boot from the Recovery HD. Simply boot from the Recovery HD to perform the above.
Reinstall Snow Leopard Without Erasing The drive
    2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed with reinstalling OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing The Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Does Kuler have a relationship with Photoshop?

Kuler has a relationship with Illustrator.  I'm finding I open Illustrator just for the Color Guide, then I go back to something else having to do with photos so I'm actually working in Photoshop most of the time.  Just starting to try to use Kuler, so I've only recently found the Kuler Panel in Illustrator.  Does Kuler have a relationship with Photoshop?  Would the simple answer be, "No." ?

Thanks for many nice answers here.  TipSquirrel esp cute and helpful!  (although the first link was out of date info, it had a second link that was on target).  JJMack was giving me accurate info, but I didn't know how to follow it -- What menu, What Help, Browse Where?  I didn't know whether to start from local or on Adobe/Kuler my account or what.  Finally catching on a bit.  That chain link thing on my top menu is Creative Cloud.  But mine was dysfunctional. Got an update, now better.  I got PS 2014 too.  (CC confused me though because it said my photoshop was both up-to-date and that there was an update)
I'll be working with the new Kuler capability today.  I hope that at least once I put my Kuler Theme into my swatch panel that then I won't have to be tethered to the Cloud to proceed.  Thanks again friends, Cheers!

  • Does apple have an issue with magic mouse and adobe

does Apple have a problem with magic mouse and Adobe Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator, scrolling uncontrollable, pages moving of their own accord etc.
If so, whats the cure and why does Apple not admit to it?
    Badgolfer4

it's rare that a mouse would perform in a different manner between different applications
I would troubleshoot with other apps to see if it was just adobe apps
and then I would troubleshoot by trying a different mouse
could be the mouse was defect
