Hi,
my MacBook Pro late 2011doesn't boot normally it shows pixel dots /line dots during starting screen (apple logo) .. I erase partition which took 22 hours & reinstall OS X Mavericks.
sometime I need to shutdown it & restart then it works normal
I did the AHT and got the following error:

Its memory failed. Replace it. Memory is not prohibitively expensive.

Other than Apple there are only two vendors with which I have personal experience and can recommend: Crucial and OWC. People have reported problems with many other brands, yet Crucial and OWC's prices are as good as any you are likely to find.
Go to Crucial and download the little app that examines your system and recommends RAM upgrade options.
Their prices are good but don't have to buy memory from them - determine what you need and buy it from Crucial or OWC / MacSales.

I am attempting to import a "Slide Show" from Organizer into Premiere Elements and I get this error message.
No hint as to what the problem is.

Running Under MS Windows 7 Professional

Quadro 2000 GPU with 135MHz Clock
Elements Organizer 11 content is now good. Repair and Optimize both run and complete. No missing files and no missing icons.
Catalog is on my 500GB hard drive that has nearly 180 GB free.
Output of the Elements Organizer 11 Slideshow Editor is to Premiere Elements Editor
The Pixel dimensions of the photos vary all over the place. However, the same slide show was previously handled by the Premier Elements Editor.
That was at 720 but I want to take it to HD and output to Blu-Ray
Content is Photos, Music, Graphics and Captions. Duration for the segment I tried to input was about 15 minutes. No video clips.
Yes, I manually set the project preset for Premiere Elements before I gave the Output command in the Elements Organizer Slideshow Editor?
I took the highest setting possible. HD at 60 fps.
But, letting Organizer launch of the Premier Editor at my default 1080i 29.97 frames/second results in the same error..

Check out the instructions on turning off OpenGL. You won't be able to access certain features that use the GPU, but you will no longer see the error message.

You will need to reinstall:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
Do the following:
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install the Combo Updater for the version you prefer from support.apple.com/downloads/.

Well, I've not seen that one before. In fact I had to click on it so as to read the tiny
text, then it appeared in another window as a .png image... so I retyped it + also
supplied a .jpg of the same image of different size. Too wide: automatically scale.
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.
...maybe this is large enough to see without clicking? It probably scaled small.

Could be you need to start from a boot volume, or Recovery partition to repair it.
That is a more detailed way to repair disk & repair disk permissions, unmounted.
Not sure about that SUID thing, though. It may revert after a normal startup.
Maybe someone can offer better 'ways & means'... LOL!

To be more specific, the computer is not finding a valid system when it starts up. This may result from the hard drive's physical mechanism failing, or the system on the drive being corrupted in some way.
Repairing permissions is not likely to fix this issue. Instead I would suggest booting from the system install DVD, running Disk Utility, selecting your hard drive's partition and select *Repair Disk*.
Note: if the hard drive does not show up in Disk Utility at all, it is dead and will need to be replaced. Contact Apple (800-275-2273 in the USA) and have them set up warranty service, or carry the MacBook in to an Apple retail store to have it fixed. Be sure to [make an appointment|http://www.apple.com/retail] first you you may wait a long time to speak to a Mac Genius.
If Repair Disk finds any problems and is able to correct them, you may be able to restart and everything be okay. If it is unable to correct the problems, you will need to erase and restore your hard drive.
If Repair Disk does not find any problems, I would suggest an Archive and Install as described in [this article|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710].
