to what does G4 error code post16/4609 refer?
G4 MDD 1.42 PPC passes all hardware tests but gives post16/4609 error at start up.
    What does it mean?
    What is the resolution?

I don't get any unhappy beeps.
I get the chime. If I am not patient restarting I get high speed fan - I shut off be patience restart and get chime and search for drive then circle slash. hardware test gives me the master post 16 / 4609. - suggesting a bad drive according to other apple pundits. However, I have put two new 250GB WD drives in and still get a mass storage error. My G4 Mdd 1.42 supports drives 128GB+. I've replaced IDE cables and have master drive with out a jumper and have tried slave at CS and 3/4 slave setting all with the same result.
Target boot got me to the "firewire drive" showed me one unformatted 250GB drive and I used disc utility to partition it according the PPC settings. Still same error.
    What gives?

  • HT201250 what does reported "error code 6584" mean ?

What does reported "error code 6584" mean ? when trying to get into my time machine back up.

First, I suggest you make another full backup to a locally-attached external hard drive. You should do that anyway. One backup isn't enough to be safe, and backing up over a network is less reliable than backing up locally. Then try each of the following steps that you haven't already taken.
    1. Restart the backup device. You can do that by disconnecting and reconnecting the power cord.
    2. Open the Time Machine pane in System Preferences and check that the device is selected as a destination. If it isn't, select it and try again.
    3. Hold down the option key and select Verify Backups from the TM menu in the menu bar (not the Dock icon.) This operation may take a long time. If the menu-bar icon (a clock that runs backwards) isn't showing, check Show Time Machine in menu bar in the preferences.
    4. Erase the backup device. With a Time Capsule, you do that from within the AirPort Utility application; see its built-in help for details. All backups on the device will be lost, so don't do this until you've backed up to another device. After erasing, select the device again as a backup destination in the TM preference pane. The first backup should be made over a wired connection, if possible.

  • What does the acronym PH stand for in the article id number

Trying to figure out what the different acronyms stand for in the article id number. I know HT stands for how to and TS stands for trouble shooting. What does PH and HE stand for.

PH refers to product help; these articles are the same as the product's content in the Help Viewer.
HE articles describe navigating Apple's support system itself.

What does the error code 0x80090318 mean connecting to IStore?

I think the problem was using a WPA2 network rather than a WPA network. When I tried connecting to a WPA network, everything went fine.

  • What does this error code mean?  Help!!! First post.

New guy here. My wifes computer starting making strange repetitive hard drive noises several days ago. A few frozen screens and now will not boot. The computer is a Powerbook G4 15in. I ran the hardware test several times and got no error code. I even ran the extended test twice with no luck. Finally I got an error code of 2 STF/4/3:ATA-100ata-6-Master. I ran again and got 2STF/3/3:ATA-100ata-6-Master. Last time got 2STF/1/4:ATA-100ata-6-Master. What does it all mean? Thank you for any help. My wife is a teacher and needs her computer every day.

Hi, Dan - Welcome to Apple Discussions.
A 2/STF... error indicates the imminent failure of the hard drive. If possible, you should connect your wife's computer to another FireWire equipped Mac and attempt to boot it into target disk mode in order to retrieve what personal data you can.
If the machine is still under warranty, contact AppleCare (800.275.2273), inform them of the error messages you're getting, and arrange for them to replace the drive.
    Good luck!

  • What does the prefix FND stands for?

In oracle application there is a prefix FND for some objects such as FND_USER table. What does it stands for or it's descriptive meaning.

In the database, the table are stored into the APPLSYS scheme.

  • Related with EDIMSG table.what does the field ACTFLAG stand for in EDIMSG.

    Hi Gurus,
Can anyone tell me what does the field ACTFLAG flag stand for in EDIMSG table.Does it mean that if the ACTFLAG field = 'X',than the particular release is no more used in SAP.
Because even if I create a partner profile with MATMAS01 as basic type and seg.release in idoc type = '30A'..i am able to receive IDOC's.whereas the ACTFLAG = 'X' for this particular release in EDIMSG table.
Your help will be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your immediate response.
so you mean that MATMAS01 should not be used as ACTFLAG = 'X' in EDIMSG table.
Than why can we still generate the IDOC's with release no 30A when SAP is not supporting this release.
    Thanks in Advance.

  • What does the acronym SDPM stand for?

I know SDPM has to do with user messaging. The schema owner of the metadata schema for the stuff is ORASDPM, but what does SDPM stand for?
    Thanks.

This info is from the PM group:
SDP is a legacy acronym for Service Delivery Platform.
Messaging (User Messaging Service - UMS) was a component under the SDP umbrella, hence the "M" in SDPM is for Messaging in the schema name for UMS.
(So, SDPM is "Service Delivery Platform Messaging.")
By the way, the schema name has been changed for 12+c+. In 12+c+ it is called UCSUMS, short for User Communication Services / User Messaging Service. User Communication Services is the umbrella under which UMS and another component, OWLCS (Oracle WebLogic Communication Services), fall.

  • What does an error code "300 (LACQ_LICENSE_DENIED)" mean in the server?

If the Adobe Access Reference Implementation License Server throws a 300 error code, the most likely issue is that the evaluation of the Adobe Access DRM policy failed during license issuance, and that the license server refused to issue a license.
For example, if the policy specifies an end date that was in the past, the license server will see that the current time is beyond the validity date specified in the policy and reject the license request, recording an error code 300 in the Adobe Access license server's logfile.
    cheers,
    /Eric.

I can't believe there is no answer to this question.
after all day researching I've given up google and went back to basics

So in Server.app left panel top... click on your server name and than Settings tab in the right one.
make sure that Enable Apple push notifications are ticked
